      wrong. its possible they needed around 9M in order to keep cashflow to prevent going bankrupt. If he offered 5M and it still wasn't near enough they would decline since they would be heading into bankruptcy anyway.

    I love how Axe says "that's right"
    In different circumstances that would sound weak and petty but not here. Axe is rich enough and confident enough and has so much more leverage in this situation that he gets to decide what matters not them. He's got fuck you money so he can say fuck you

    What’s interesting is the Ellis Eads character offered his left hand to Bobby Axelrod which is usually considered a sign of disrespect. It’s possible he was left-handed but if you notice he offers his right hand Mrs. Axelrod. I wonder if the producers put this in to again give the appearance that these individuals deserved everything they got.

      Lara really was a wasted character but then so was Rebecca... the show was too dedicated to the Wendy Axe Chuck triad to the detriment of all other narrative options which towards the end the show was still decent in spite of not because of, then season 6 was just not good at all

    i do note get it - why did he fire axe? There was no implication that the grandfather thought/claimed axe did something wrong.
    The second part - you can not disgrace a person like that just because he laughed at his grandfather at the young kid age...
