Yep, carnival theme, inspired by roller coaster rides. Just a fun song. 🤘. The entire Imaginaerum album had themes of imagination and fantasy, 2nd last song on that record. This song has been a show closer, it was the last song at Wacken 2013. Then they wrote The Greatest Show On Earth for the EFMB album. That's the final song here, a few small differences from Wembley , but still awesome. Personally I prefer the Tampere version. Tomorrow, 2nd song on the new album comes out, "The Day Of..." New album drops Sep 20. You could either do some of those documentaries and interviews until then. Or start Helsinki 2005 (End of an Era), go to the new album when it drops, and come back later. Up to you. If you want to break from Nightwish, you could use the day to catch up on new releases, Nemophila, Jinjer, Freeze the Fall, LOVEBITES, Band Maid with The Warning, etc.

Since the Imaginaerum tour this has become pretty standard on the Setlist, near the end. It's also one in which Floor usually goes around the band interacting with each member individually. It's probably the only song where I have seen Tuomas actually sing into the microphone - Floor taking her mic over to him and him joining in. You need, if you haven't, to watch the eponymous movie Imaginaerum that stars the band and will give context to all the songs on that album. Have you done Buenos Aires 2018 yet? I can't recall. It is the best concert. New song came out today - as always, quite different.
The documentary where "Floor learns the songs" is "Please learn the setlist in 48 hours" It actually tells the story of the 2012 tour, when Anette was pregnant then also sick, and they had to find a replacement for her, who eventually came to be a permanent replacement... It's an interesting movie, but don't expect a lot of music, it's mostly based on following the band on tour from an inside perspective, with a lot of talking. It's also easy to get lost because after the introduction, there's a leap back to the beginning of the tour, anf if you don't get it, it seems quite odd. Also note that Anette refused to be seen or heard in the movie, so the part centered on the first months on the road has musical moments with only instrumentals or Marko singing

It seemed it had been already arranged that a temporary singer would replace her for the end of the tour due to her pregnancy, but when she heard that Floor's name was coming on the table, she understood that it would be very hard for her to take her seat back afterwards... Floor was already known with After Forever (and her name had already been evoked at the time Tarja left, but since she was involved with After Forever, it had been abandoned), and we all know how amazing she is as a singer, hard to come back after her... And when the things sped up when Anette got sick, they did not want to cancel shows and had to find a quick replacement. It seems that it was a bit like "Ok, Floor is free now, we need someone, so no matter if you agree or not, it will be her" Then, as expected, Anette didn't take it that well, and they parted ways quite in bad terms 😞
