    Thank you for this. My BF overheated his Sonic and I love cars too much to not fix it myself. I lost most my car friends after high school and I learned everything from them. But now I’m soloing it and I’m lowkey nervous but hyped haha

    Don’t use the T40 torque screw to unfasten the pulley wheel. Use the T45. I tried the T40 and I stripped one of the bolts. Watched another video that said to use that.

      I did try the T45 and it didn’t work for mine so that’s why I used the T40 which fit perfectly. I ended up replacing them with different bolts from autozone as well so it’s easier to remove for the future in case it gives out again.

    It's a t45 for the pulley 👍

    The belt on the water pump is a diffrent than the timing belt right?(planing to do this job on my own) Removing this belt won't need timing done?

    unfortunately i looked at this video AFTER i took the belt off :( had to put it back on to get the pulley loose
