Push the pins in, towards the middle of the steering wheel. Shouldn't be hard. Just sit the air bag on the sterring column instead of disconnecting it. I just did this, so fyi.
I did try the T45 and it didn’t work for mine so that’s why I used the T40 which fit perfectly. I ended up replacing them with different bolts from autozone as well so it’s easier to remove for the future in case it gives out again.
thanks bruv...this helped me a lot...some corollas have the star screws, others have regular screws, some have the pins like this one... In my case I did not even replace the cable, just! he plastic switch 😂
I pray to the Almighty that all the mechanics and car dealers (especially car dealers) would go to hell who live by sucking blood out of consumers for this.🤲
Don’t use the T40 torque screw to unfasten the pulley wheel. Use the T45. I tried the T40 and I stripped one of the bolts. Watched another video that said to use that.

Thank you for this. My BF overheated his Sonic and I love cars too much to not fix it myself. I lost most my car friends after high school and I learned everything from them. But now I’m soloing it and I’m lowkey nervous but hyped haha
Hello, sorry for the late reply I was not active on my account for a while. Im pretty sure it’s the same for the 2010 since they’re both the same but different facelifts. You can match the part and try to match if it’s the same with mine. Hope it works for you!
Hey man I just want to say thank you for the video mine stopped working a few months ago and this helped me much more than some of the other videos I was finding.
Thanks a bunch ❤ i fixed my 2012 like a big girl!😂😂😂

The belt on the water pump is a diffrent than the timing belt right?(planing to do this job on my own) Removing this belt won't need timing done?
Sorry late reply, yes different
Thank u

Can you possibly list out the tools you used throughout the video?
Sorry late reply, I’ll list it on the description 🙏🏼
Is it the same method for a 2013 Toyota Avalon?
Sorry late reply, not sure but if you watch the video and see the placement of the bolts and stuff the same then it should be.
Thanks 👍
