[PSO2 NGS] Class Weapon Basics (Rod)

The first in a series of videos aimed at beginners to PSO2NGS, covering the basics of how each weapon works, as well as interactions with the skill tree. In this video we'll look at the Rod, which is used by the Force class.
Any questions, leave them in the comments and I'll try and answer what I can. Apologies if this episode in particular is a bit of a mess, I was pretty ill while recording it! I may decide to re-record it at a later date.

I'm looking at the two decrease pp consumption skills now and one is for main class only and the other just bows in general... is the second helpful with subclass users then?

Anything that doesn't say 'main class only' can be used if you have the subclass! Should be useful if you need the decreased consumption!

why the weapon called rod when the appearance is basically a staff

It's always been the case since PSO1! It's just what Sega decided to call it. I do agree that most games would call it a staff though.
