People consider Techter to be the worst subclass because it doesn't really have any subclass skills that help improve what other classes are trying to do. Having your PB gauge go up faster isn't bad, but people generally want some form of synergy with their class and subclass, and Techter ain't it. That same reason is why Bouncer is considered an amazing subclass for most classes.
Dark Falz Aegis made it more worthwhile due to its length in conjunction with Neos. Otherwise most boss fights are too short too see the benefits of the class
I'm excited to finally get to sit down and play this 😁. I believe the last Phantasy Star game I've played was on GameCube 🤔, but I can't remember what it was called lol.
Phantasy star online episode 1 and 2 and they made a plus version but same game but came with like 3 extra maps to go to in episode 2. It's great game I have the plus version I miss playing. Wish this game was more like that and not like a world of Warcraft like it is now
I haven’t played Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. I have researched about it, and I’m certainly willing to try it soon. What do you think of Force as a main class and Hunter as a Sub Class? I could describe someone with this class combo as a defensive mage.
Hunter as a subclass makes for good training wheels as you’re learning enemy attack patterns, but it can still provide protection in case things get dicey when you’re skilled. Plus, Sword can be pretty fun to play with if you wanna switch things up. Force is able to protect itself naturally with its weapon action (damage negation) so it may be worth changing to a different subclass like Fighter or Bouncer later on
Forces are pretty heavily built for taking advantage of an enemy's elemental weaknesses to put them in a Down state. Because of that, Bouncer is the best subclass for it. (It's the best subclass for any damage dealing class but y'know). That said, your build is valid no matter what it is, and feel free to make what you want. Part of the fun of online Phantasy Star games is making your build. Like the character creation in this game, there's a lot you can do. I heard of some people combining Hunter's Wired Lance with Fighter's Twin Daggers to make an Attack on Titan build, so if that's any indication of how fluid the class builds can get in this game, there you go. I will say, though, that if you use Rod as a force, you can block any attack with its weapon action, so if you're good at parrying, you won't really need extra defense. But that'd dependent on skill, so it may or may not be enough for you. No judgement either way.
There’s been tons of advertisement. SEGA has been promoting the game like crazy and just yesterday I saw PlayStation posting about it. In fact the reason I made this video was because of how many people I see every day asking about the game
If you’re only seeing 6 classes then I presume you’re still in character creation. The last three are available when you get to the class counter in the city
I just got my download started, super hyped after watching this and your beginner guide

I actually enjoy melee battles and close range but when I saw that force had a scythe I was instantly sold
As a Tank Boi, Hunter was already a given. But the braver has katana and that really has me acting up bruv.
Imma ranger/hunter & them accuracy rounds with the hunters defense booster. Be coming in handy
A really great video- Hope your channels grows 👍👍

Where are these other classes at? I only see 6 classes when making a character. No Braver, Bouncer, Waker
