As a junior doctor in the UK your videos have helped me and they have improved a lot over the years! But they were always really good! Love the informative videos, and your vlogs inspired me to start my channel too

I am currently a junior Doctor in Nigeria hoping to move over to the UK soon by Godsgrace.. so far your videos has been really helpful in giving me an insight about the process and the steps to follow. Thank u Dr Nosa 😍❤️
Hi!! This is so useful!! Could u also make a video on foundation program application for international medical graduates please? (Ie. Do I need to get a high PLAB score to get into my top choices, eta.) thanks a lot !! x
Can we get the structure as at from school completion to specialty.. this is what I know for now :ielts , plab 1and 2 then FY1 and 2 then specialty . Am opened for correction
Thank you very much Dr Nosa. Pls a friend of mine was telling me about MRSE exam for applying for residency, pls after watching this your video, pls can you tell me where that comes in .
This is a great vdo and so much helpful. I would like to know that is there any exam needed to apply specialist training from FY2? Thanks in advance for your kind advice.
Really helpful video! Would you be able to tell us what jobs are available to apply for and what the job application process is like doctors who have just passed the PLAB 2 exam?
i hope to hear back from you. I am an rcsi graduate and canadian citizen i heard you can go directly to FY2 is that true? And also you mentioned something about becoming a consultant, does it take 8 years for all specialties? ( in canada its just 1 internship and then however many years the specialty is) . i want neurology by the way. Your help would be appreciated
Hey! Great videos Dr Nosa! I just have a quick question - how do you enter the FY programme? I am asking for a friend who is studying medicine in Poland but wants to work in the UK (she's a UK citizen). She needs to do the UKMLA too. When do UK med students do the SJT and how do they apply for it? How do students enter the FY programme too? And when do they sit the PLAB/UKMLA - is it before or after graduation. Much thanks in advance!
Good afternoon. Just came across your channel. I am beginning my road to UK journey. I am interested in anaesthesia. Does it follow a similar process…?
Good day, Kindly provide advice and guidance. I am a graduate of the University of the West Indies trinidad and tobago, interested in pursuing a GP career in the UK. Following my graduation 2019 and completing my 1 year internship in trinidad and tobago, I went on to acquire my post-graduate diploma in family medicine stage-1 from the University of Plymouth, Rila Institute of Health Sciences in 2023. In my circumstance, after the completion of both plab examinations, can I proceed to apply directly to GP training, or am I required re-do the foundation year training in the UK? Thank you in advance
I have heard that there are a lot of docs who have fully completed there gmc registration but still staying without jobs . Is it true ....if so does can you please let us know the reason ....
Is it possible for an international medical graduate without any internship experience to enrol in FY2 without necessarily doing FY1 after completing his current Masters program in Public Health nutrition in UK and writing PLAB 1 & 2 exams with d aim of becoming a licensed doctor in UK?
Not to my knowledge, no internsip experience means Foundation Year 1 is the only entry point. It's better to even come in at FY1 because they are given a lot more room for "errors" than FY2 where people expect you understand the system etc.
Not at all, it’s actually about 8 years training after foundation year 2 so a total of 10 years after medical school to become an obs and gynae consultant
