As a Rescuer myself for decades, people don't realize that when you do this job, you take those, that others often wouldn't. As in turkeys attacked by dogs, a horse left tied to a fence, a goat with only 3 good legs and an extra-long ear, a blind pig, a cow hit by a car or train and left to die by its real owner and on and on. Farm animals stay outside, predators are a worry, parasites and sickness and the checkbook takes a workout, but they are never slighted. They may not live a long, long life, but they live a good life. Thank you for doing what you do, it's not cheap, easy, or painless but it's a blessing.
What about all the times you’ve fed and watered the neighbours animals? The animals you took in that had no where to go? The dogs you rescued? The vet care alone for the animals must cost a fortune. The horse care, all the fencing… I could go on. You watch over all your animals multiple times a day, you’ve even bought a whole new property for the longhorns to live their best lives, then another to get the grass they need! Gary would have died alone in the woods if you didn’t step in and he was cared for and loved in his last year of life. You gave him peace and a pain free ending. You are doing amazing Lester! Don’t let a candy ass get you down! ❤
Lester there will always be people who will want a fairytale life for all your animals, and we all know that that is impossible. You and Jamie go above and beyond to your own detriment. I worry constantly about your health. Jamie doesn’t sleep enough. You work way too hard and it is taking physical toll on your body. Jamie works a full-time job and starts working on the farm hours before. She starts her job and works all her breaks on the farm and then continues working on the farm after she finishes her job. She never stops. No wonder she can’t sleep. you don’t take holidays and you don’t get enough breaks so I do worry about your health both of you. So just don’t worry about people who want a fairytale. You are trying to cope with the reality of looking after hundreds of animals over three properties. And you are doing the best you could possibly do.❤❤❤🙌🏻

Large animal veterinarian hospitals, race track, thousands of riding trails in many of towns for the 951 area code includes the following cities: Riverside, Corona, Temecula, Moreno Valley, Murrieta, Hemet, Anza and Perris, lake Elsinore, lake Perris, Idlewild, Indio, Coachella, Palm Springs, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, and Desert Hot Springs....I lived there 1986-2013. Was the only area I could have property for my horses, goats, pigs, peacocks, chickens, ducks, geese,, swans, mini horses, within driving distance of my job @ AT&T .....an NO I DIDN'T CALL Lester.. but maybe the caller has suffered many losses of her own Livestock babies & it's too much for her to watch others give the last act of kindness to their Livestock babies on a video 🤔 💔 😥
Lester, I appreciate what you do. Poor Gary had a year of happiness. He was fed, sheltered, fresh water and loved daily. There is not one animal that has passed while in your care that has been neglected or treated bad. You and Jami are responsible animal owners. I’ve tried watching other farm channels. But they are not the same. You keep your pastures clean. Your animals don’t have poopy pants and you show more of them then the others. You show more love to them. You show you care more then them. You’re the best. And when one of the animals are sick you take care of them. I hope that lady is gone for good.

I am not an animal farmer, but I have rescued several Dachshund dogs via a wonderful organisation over the years. Some come to us old, neglected & with unknown health issues, and all I can do is love them and make their last months the best I can. It hurts like hell when they cross the rainbow bridge. Lester's grief is apparent in exactly the same way I feel each loss with every animal. I don't understand what else this dear lady would have him do? I think his response to her was perfect 👌🏻 & and shows how gracious he truly is. I would not have been so polite!
Hobby farmer here... I have lost pets for unknown reasons, sad and heartbreaking, but it happens when you have pets. Animals don't have a voice, we are their voice. I love all of your family's channels because of your love for animals. The world is angry, lashing out at everyone around them, casting their anger whether it makes sense or not.

No matter how much preventative or treatment you do. People please don’t be so silly and down right mean. Don’t call these lovely people and be so closed minded. One has a bad leg but its better now than when i got him. He is happy and living a good loving life with another pup i rescued and they play and have a grest life now. It's obvious the old lady has never had a pet or even a person in their life. We all die sooner or later. Lester and Jami are the most loving and caring people I have ever seen. She is just jealous she has no one to love.

I could not watch Gary’s videos about his death. I finally did watch The video that said he was in hospice, I could see how he was going down hill. The panting and the way he moved his head about killed. I knew his time was close. I loved his story and wanted him to live. I know you did too. I cried for hours but I know his time had come. Thank you and Jami for taking care of this precious babies
People have different ways of dealing with grief. Clearly this lady had more going on in her life and took it out on you. I'm sorry for that. Thank you for all you do for the babies!

Ohhhh my gosh, old age , predators, illness happen. My gosh look how many alpaca passed away including poor okkie dokky, but through advice and trial and error our Ernie is still here. Luck, I think not, it is love that keeps Ernie with us. ❤️

951 equals Riverside California and it sounds like something a Californian would say (and I’m a Californian too so I should know) I feel so bad that she says those things to you and put you in a mood like that because we don’t have farms like that in Riverside so she probably has no idea! I watch a lot of channels and you still are right at the top, cleanliness, edutainment, hilarity, love and loss and just everything good that makes you my happy place!
Sorry you experienced this. She really must not watch a lot of farm pages or channels that share the bad along with the good of life. Things happen be it illness, accidents or old age animals and people pass daily it's part of the life circle. Glad she removed herself one less negative unhappy person. I Love a good rant. No one has been lost due to neglect. You can't cure Dixies cancer. You didn't cause little Gary's accident. You didn't bring on the flood that brought the parasites that took poor Oakies life from us. You two have always done everything for your animals, you two are not God. All the animals are living a happy life, they have full bellies and they are Loved. You can only do what you can do. We Love You Lester and Jami, and you two are doing amazing. 💜💚
Pay no attention to the Candy A$$. I am sad when you lose a loved baby but that’s life I lost my 25 year old Umbrella Cockatoo and my 17 year old dog within two weeks of each other last year. They were well cared for and loved but that’s life. We miss them every day.
Sweet Lady the circle of life is hard but I think I have been blessed to go through it so when my Daddy passed from skin cancer I understood that it's PART OF LIFE and we don't control that if you don't have any death in your life while you are forming for example a pet your ability to deal with it decreases hugely. When you own over a hundred animals the chance of someone passing is greater and animals who have been neglected pay for it by not living as long. Instead of shaming Lester for taking in Gary,Christmas or Stella and helping them overcome what someone else has done to hurt them in the first place. Take all of your energy and ask everyone you actually know if they have done all the things to make there pets live long healthy lives.😊🕯🧡💜🧡

You have so many people on your sude who cares not only for you guys but your babies. I lost my animals too. Not by not giving them all i could but from old age. I now have two more i rescued. One has a bad leg but its better now than when i got him. He is happy and living a good loving life with another pup i rescued and they play and have a grest life now. People dont understand how much it takes. And i wouldnt change anything i fo to keep any of my animals alive. It is no ones bussiness but mine. I am sorry there ard negitive people in thd wirld like her. Dont let it bother you. You and your whole family are there ti help the best you can. Things happen beyound our control. I could not watch Gary’s videos about his death. I finally did watch The video that said he was in hospice, I could see how he was going down hill. The panting and the way he moved his head about killed. I knew his time was close. I loved his story and wanted him to live. I know you did too. I cried for hours but I know his time had come. Thank you and Jami for taking care of this precious babies

Ohhhh my gosh, old age , predators, illness happen. My gosh look how many alpaca passed away including poor okkie dokky, but through advice and trial and error our Ernie is still here. Luck, I think not, it is love that keeps Ernie with us. ❤️

I watch a lot of channels and you still are right at the top, cleanliness, edutainment, hilarity, love and loss and just everything good that makes you my happy place!

I Love a good rant. No one has been lost due to neglect. You can't cure Dixies cancer. You didn't cause little Gary's accident. You didn't bring on the flood that brought the parasites that took poor Oakies life from us. You two have always done everything for your animals, you two are not God. Pay no attention to the Candy A$$. I am sad when you lose a loved baby but that’s life I lost my 25 year old Umbrella Cockatoo and my 17 year old dog within two weeks of each other last year. They were well cared for and loved but that’s life. We miss them every day.

Sweet Lady the circle of life is hard but I think I have been blessed to go through it so when my Daddy passed from skin cancer I understood that it's PART OF LIFE and we don't control that if you don't have any death in your life while you are forming for example a pet your ability to deal with it decreases hugely. When you own over a hundred animals the chance of someone passing is greater and animals who have been neglected pay for it by not living as long. Instead of shaming Lester for taking in Gary,Christmas or Stella and helping them overcome what someone else has done to hurt them in the first place. Take all of your energy and ask everyone you actually know if they have done all the things to make there pets live long healthy lives.😊🕯🧡💜🧡
