@theoneandonlysmallville4294 100%, and I bet the artists would be happy to pay him some commission for the referrals. This video hurt to watch. You can't praise the REAL artists in one breath and then shill this in the next. Modellers are a part of the community, too. We all know that ai is going to disrupt a lot of creative fields, let's not accelerate it by shilling it and offering people discount codes. Send them the way of real modellers instead
Good Grief, UJ. This is just ANOTHER fake A.I. service using sweatjobs! Most likely, this is Kaedim again but using a different name, because they got caught. Only now they're charging $25-40 instead of the $6. But I guarantee they are picking the money instead of properly paying the 3D artists their worth. Jessy, the red flags are all over the site. Here are just a few: 1) No free trail option. Even if it was just 1-5 tries, a REAL 2D to 3D compa y would let you see the model, BEFORE paying for it. 2) The fact they are forcing payment BEFORE their so-called "a.i. generated software" does it's work, is because a real person is speed modeling it. The imperfections are due to their having to speed through it, which masks the idead that it's all a.i. generated. 3) In your skull example, there are details added to the 3D model that a a.i. program would not make. Like how far to shape certain parts of the structure. The addition of unseen elements in the original image is another giveaway. 4) Run a test from the same account, using similar images. Be sure to order both renders close enough to one another that they down overlap, but the same artist will see them and be tasked to create them both. In this case that would be the skull. I bet the 3D mesh of both skulls will be identical or impossibly close. 5) The fact the so-called a.i. program takes 25 minutes or more, is easily the biggest giveaway that that a real person is being forced to model it. A a.i. program would take MAYBE 10 minutes max, for a model like the melting skull. Why? Because it's modeling based on both a image and a prompt. A.I. image to image tech has gotten very fast and only takes a few seconds to generate high detailed and high quality images. There are ZERO REASONS for it to take more than 5 minutes for a simple model like the skull to take 25 minutes to generate. 6) The fact this company is not tied to any image to image, nor text to image, a.i. generators, is more evidence they are lying and using digital sweatshop artists. 7) Solid evidence this is a scam: The domain was first registered in late July 2023. A tech site like this would have had it's domain registered LONG BEFORE the site went live. NOT THE SAME MONTH! Most of the owner info is redacted, but it's info claims to be stationed in Arazona, USA. HOWEVER; it also states to be owned by 1api.net. That domain was bought in 2017 and it's origins is fully redacted, EXCEPT for it's abuse report phone number. And that number is BASED IN GERMANY and includes a extention number!! ( 49+68949396x850) For those that don't know, Kaedim is a website that made this exact same claim. Only they were charging a $6 trial and a $120-ish monthly fee. Fellow a.i. users, and 3D modelers figured out the scam. They did some digging and got proof Kaedim was lying and abusing their employees by paying them literally pennies on the dollar for each 3D render. Forcing them to provide somewhat quality 3D models at a rat race pace.l, to meet the demands of a real a.i. service.
For the record, I sorta wish this was real. Being out of practice, 3D wise, and broke, I would love to test this service out. But I refuse to knowingly fund sweatshops. Digital or physical.
With that cost and production time, it looks more like another page of that style. In which they disguise themselves as AI generation but in reality they are 3d designers behind the page.
I’m thinking this is the case. A 3d modeling service masquerading as a AI. They run it through an initial program and a human goes and modifies it. There’s no way that at $25-$40 a computer service would cost that much.
@radiumminis yeah they're ALL over fiver, I point people to that direction when they want a part and can't articulate it enough for me to be able to model it to be usable. It's crazy to realize this could be what's going on here
I’m a 3D modeler and trying to catch AI news; this doesn’t feel fully AI. There’s literally 0 paper I can find besides NERF and couple recent ones. Love your content, but I’d say becarefull who you ad for this one. There are 0 transparency on this! Hope they’ll publish something about the process! Edit: I just realised it’s never advertised as AI, it’s the title got me thinking like it.
Man, it is not a ai-generated model, it is a human-generatate model. There was a similar site a few years ago. This site has identical UI as that one, only with longer processing time (2x), much higher price (10x) and seemingly ai-genreated topology (triangulated).
I'm gonna agree with other comments and say this is too similar to Kaedim3D where they have people behind the scenes making the models. Things like it not doing people, realistic animals, or foliage is definitely because the modelers don't have the time/are not experienced enough to make them. On top of that, even though the models aren't perfect, they're also too good for what we know 3D AI can do at the moment. Not even Google's Dreamfusion can make individual shapes for models (it's not publicly available yet but the point still stands. I'd try CSM AI. It's genuine Image to 3D AI and has a free tier. I'm confident in it being real because it takes longer to process and sometimes the results can be outright bad, which leads to credibility lol. I would say the models are pretty impressive for what it is though. I've printed a few myself and they're pretty cool just for the novelty of holding an AI-generated 3D model.
Something to be aware. I paid for this service, in the credit card statement the company name was NIKKO INDUSTRIES. A quick google search shows that he is running another business which sells 3d assets. Could it be that the assets he makes for you, he is selling to other people? It says on his site that "it is 100% yours", but on the terms of service it suggests that you are granted a license to use their service for non-commercial purposes. So is it a license, or do we own what you make? This guy is not to be trusted.
That's the part that stuck out to me, if it was truly AI generated I feel like it would just be a single solid object and not separate (logical) objects. Like the teeth on the skull, those would for sure just be deforms on the skull like if you used the drag/move/extrude tool
@@Mike-pp7xl you 12? A month ago it didn’t work. Also it was not ai at the time, a human artist would “generate” your model. You are a little late to the party.
That’s exactly what this is. I guarantee it. Check the file names at 7:31 . It’s the same kaedim owner that scammed everyone before saying it was ai. It’s all outsourced.
@@UncleJessy This comment is dejavu to the max. I saw a similar video and the exact same comment from the video creator when the same comment from the OP was posted.......this is crazy If you ask me, I 100% believe this is outsourcing to some degree.
I ordered a few models based on images generated in Midjourney including the $25 and $40 versions. They are of varying quality and show different stylistic takes using the same image for the different qualities. These look like interpretations by different humans and I immediately suspected that this is not AI. Then I checked the billing statement -- the money is paid to Nikko Industries. Looks like Nikko's recent 10 minute modeling challenges were training exercises. Soylent Green is people!
I believe he profits off other people rather than doing it himself, seeing how his patreon and shop are filled up, one single guy on it at this pace would go insane
@@linkdelodela Yes I agree. Nikko is all about delegation. I'm not criticizing that, he is generating business for freelancers. But I do think the fake AI thing is both deceptive and frankly silly. If he offered a simple one-stop modeling service based on image uploads and proudly declared that it was done by people, not AI, I think he'd get more business because many people are against AI (which is IMHO silly in it's own right but people are entitled to their opinions).
@@semiuniversal i am against ai :p and against the fees he seems to take for the freelancers, I'm an artist and a 3d modeler, i hate everything ai stands for, and i do enjoy to pay my rent without overworking myself to death :p
@@DavidClunie Considering how much designers charge each hour, this is small in comparison. That dripping skull would take me 6 hours minimum to make from scratch in Nomad.
As many others have said, I too believe there is human involvement behind the "AI 3d model generation". What makes it more clear to me is the fact that you have to pay BEFORE you see the result. Their pricing seems too high for a gamble of getting a good, quality result. I would consider this if I could see the result before I could pay/download it but first paying and hoping you'll get what you want puts me in a casino mood that I do not want to be in :)
Maybe lower poly takes longer cause it needs to slow down and accelerate more for sharp corners. Think printing a square vs circle, a square it has to slow down and start up every corner, a circle it's always accelerating towards the center.
3D artists concerns that we really wanted AI to take care of: retopology, auto-UVs with islands packing. What AI is actually taking care of: sculptors. Welp... There go my hopes of making a living as a 3D artist, time to go back to programming which I've really fallen far behind in hopes of doing a career change
@@JohnClark-tt2bl no sure if this was a sarcastic type of reply or genuine but if you had a slight idea of what jobs market on programming is like you would know almost 90% is in web development, jobs on AI are really scarce and technically ask you to have a PhD (not joking, I've seen job postings asking for an actual PhD) and basically 5+ years of work experience at least in data science. So to summarize, it's not as simple as it sounds
It’s crazy how fast all of this is moving. I still have a feeling this is all just a tool but you still need specialized modelers to bring these to life/specific projects
It's what previous AI modellers were. It's just a sweatshop with artists that have huge asset libraries to make their work faster. I can link you a concept art of character and guarantee they won't be able to do it even on premium purchase.
Jessy, I love your channel. This website is not "AI", those models are made by humans. This is a mechanical turk situation again. $25 for 20 minutes of modeling isn't "bad" per se. You could pay a local 3d modeler $75 an hour and get what you want. But, the modelers hired by this company are only getting a small portion of that money AND the model is not so hot. Please pause this video until you can find out more. This website is exploitative and fraudulent.
@@DiekiKondrael Jessy showed the wire frame. That's not the style of geometry that any automated system would generate. I'm a professional 3d sculptor with 3 decades of experience. You don't have to take my word for it. We've already gone through this with Kaedim. This is the same thing. Look at the rivets on the helmet. No automated system would split those out as individual spherical elements. Have you seen what the output from NERFs look like?
@@wetterschneider I tried this service out of curiosity and the files I received are named kaedim. Same sus company. They are definitely human created. Geometry is not ai generated.
This is one of the reasons I stopped doing Filaments Folly. I knew this stuff AI would take out most of my business in a matter 18 to 24 months. I am doing more game design stuff now. Just to be clear I am not angry, its the way the world/tech works.
dont be scared of AI, use it to your advantage. Like this program, you can use it to get the basic shapes mapped out in seconds rather than spending minutes to an hour setting it up. Or even mid journey, it can be a source of inspiration, like if you have an idea in your head just know how to approach it, mid jouney will help you bridge that gap by giving you multiple examples in seconds
I'm sure the 2D-3D a.i. tech will get there, but this isn't it. This is a Germany based company that's very clearly using digital sweatshops. The separated pieces, the mirroring and uniforamtion of the models. It screams human made and low detail due to the sweatshop rush to get the files to customers in below 30 minutes. The files are produced practically identical to how Kaedim did it. A website ousted earlier this year for pulling this very same scam, but as with a subscription service instead. Check my posted comment for more details, if interested. I wish I had the funds to hire ya. I'd likely do it in a heartbeat. I have many characters of mine that I'd live to see made 3D.
These models are made by people. ''AI'' currently ''models'' things with some sort of voxel base model which gives off scan like, watertight topology. The moels you receive are modeled with a polygonal approach and split into pieces. It is the way humans model things.
Yeah, this looks like a scam. They contact a bunch of RUclipsrs and influencers, give them a code to some free prints, then give it to some poor 3D students in some sweatshop to make convincing but high quality "AI" prints, then just harvest a bunch of money, credit card info and personal data from everyone that falls for the video while they ride off onto the next town. I don't think the video makers are to blame, they got swindled too, just in a different way.
Genuinely fascinating - and intriguingly peculiar. It seems as if there's some human intervention somewhere along the way in this process. The price seems relatively "high" at first - but it may involve a distantly-outsourced human subcontractor somewhere, slaving away in a mud hut, chained to a desk.
1:35 you have full rights and access to? Pretty sure that's not true. Recently a federal judge ruled that AI generated content is not open to protection... So yeah, you can use them - but it doesn't legally belong to you like an actual model you use. Also, $25 for a 30k polycount or $40 for 60k poly model is horrible.
Not quite. While the judge ruled that JUST A.I. created work is not copyrightable, and that it needs a human interaction, the court did not define what that human action is. In short, they left loopholes for new cases to challenge and apply for copyright. This is going to be interesting in the following years with new laws being created. So, theoretically, you can use 4 or 7 A.I.-generated items, edit them in PS to make a scene, and blend them together, and then you have a new piece of art. This has the potential to turn the previous unprotected works into protective work under the Transformative clauses. Similar to how mosaic artists claim copyright using public domain images and those found on google that they put together to create a new piece of art. As an artist, this both scares and intrigues me. While I don't like the "public" A.I. generators (the ones that skim image banks without approval) I do know of others who build their own. It doesn't seem worse than the person who prints IG screenshots on canvas and sells them for 90-100K. And that art is protected. The judge: "Undoubtedly, we are approaching new frontiers in copyright as artists put AI in their toolbox to be used in the generation of new visual and other artistic works. The increased attenuation of human creativity from the actual generation of the final work will prompt challenging questions regarding how much human input is necessary to qualify the user of an AI system as an “author” of a generated work, the scope of the protection obtained over the resultant image, how to assess the originality of AI-generated works where the systems may have been trained on unknown pre-existing works, how copyright might best be used to incentivize creative works involving AI, and more."
So before wasting your time watching this video. Its not what you hoped it would be and you are still better off modeling it yourself or looking for an existing model to work from
7:31 you can see the objects are named kaedim. Come on man. This is not ai. It’s outsourced by the exact same people that scammed everyone before by pretending it was ai.
Its a scam website that uses real 3D artists to pretend to make ai 3D models. The file names are the same company that did the scams previously. Sad that he got tricked
6:00 i'd definitely rather it not be for 3D printing specifically, maybe a separate AI, but if this is just meant for making a 3D model, its pretty good for that. The typology looks amazing, the models look like they would be good to just throw into unity or whatever and use them.
As cool as this is, I'm hesitant to try it as there's no way to know how it will come out ahead of time. You're risking paying for something that might come out looking like crap. lol I wish they would at least give you some sort of preview without having to pay. Then if you like it, you can pay to download it.
The prices are really high for what amounts to a few minutes of processing on (probably) some Amazon S3 instance somewhere. Eventually, this type of software will find its way into the open/free domain and it'll just be a feature of Blender.
This seems very intriguing and a great early iteration, but I really wonder just how far you can push AI with something that's free like the ChatGPT plugin & Blender.
As a struggling (physically) modeler, I like this. Not for converting A.I. images but it looks like I can take my sketches and this will generate a base mesh which I can then refine. That can save several hours alone depending on what I am trying to make.
You just know there are a team of caffeinated kids on computers in a sweat shop that are cranking out models at super high speed when you submit an image. Seriously though I could probably get someone on Fiver to do it cheaper.
The difference is you are aware of what is soon coming. Don’t be a deer in the headlights, use it to your advantage. Speaking as someone who was never a thing, because how do you replace nothing😊, I am quite excited and steady practicing while looking for my opportunity to jump into being something.
@@UncleJessy Someone's still gotta run the AI programs and input ideas for them, don't let this stump your creativity. One thing I'm not clear on: did it take your helmet image with the differing views in one image file? Or did you have to crop it down to one view of the helmet?
I have heavy doubts that this is a real AI. It looks a lot like services seen in the past that just have a ton of 3d modeling contractors quickly pumping out models based on images.
@@Sabra13 If you check their website, they don't actually specify that your model will be done in 20 minutes. In their FAQ, they said it "It depends on the details of the photo". Normally an AI like this should take the same amount of time regardless of what photo you use, because the actual number of steps computed doesn't change. Unfortunately UncleJessy didn't mention this, but I am not surprised since he is being sponsored by them. This wouldn't be the first time he has advertised for a misleading product.
gonna join the chorus that these outputs look more like people working on a 20 minute timer than AI. their website also has no corporate branding, no careers, no board of directors, no research output, no contact info, not even the country they're incorporated in. these little AI startups are usually trying to put their name out to get VC funding so being this secretive is a red flag that they might not be who they appear to be.
I gave this a try with a cute dog model I generated in Midjourney, with similar prompts I saw in this video... and I can't say I'm happy with the results. It actually looks quite bad. I'm also looking at the website, and I can find no support or any contact info for the company. I would not recommend.
Also, my card was charged to Nikko Industries when I purchased from them. Seems like if they are the same company, they should mention that on the website?
@@a.turner9609 Huh, that is interesting. I just spent about 10 minutes searching and you may be right. They have the same first/last in the contact information. With all their models, I wonder if the database they used is based solely on the input info from N I. I mean, when it tried to generate the spartan helm for UJ, I wonder if it based the parameters on the 50+ N.I. helmets. If so, I like that because it takes care of the worry generally associated with A.I. using other people's stuff.

Just curious if this is like Kaedim 3D where it’s actually a person on the other end doing the modeling. Which I don’t actually have a problem with. Just curious if they are trying to pass it off as AI because that’s buzzing right now.
Its the amount of time that tells me its AI. he said like 20 minutes after you upload the image. Im sorry, but people arent making those 3D models that fast.
@andrewlongfellow8745 I can't comment on that since I don't really have experience as a 3d modeler. I just find 3d printing videos interesting to watch vicariously. I would just be surprised if some obscure company released ai 3d before one of the bigger ones. Even with 2d the ai images can be a pain in the ass to get exactly what you want so I'm skeptical of this from that standpoint.
Suuuuure... I agree with previous speakers, it's a human made. 🤨 1. If the photos are accompanied by photos from the back and side, it's ok kinda... I think, but the skull had photo only from one side, and the invisible part was still done correctly. 2. Since when does AI divide into subtools? I would expect more of a uniform blob, like with 3D scanning. 3. With this kind of accuracy, 20 min would be enough to do such rough blockouts.
It sucks to see one of the largest platforms in this "community" is promoting an ai tool. Its probably a scam. Im a modeller myself and i could've made these designs in 30 minutes and i can guarantee that they'd be alot better and ready for printing.
Sounds cool but this reminds me of Kaedim(a fake ai 3d model generative tool), as the 3d model itself felt like it had been modelled by a person instead of computer generated. I would expect ai model to be more "generative/dream" like photogrammetry or even nvidia's ai model generative tool. Especially the helmet felt like there is a timer on an artist, he had to stop half way because the level of detail on the model is not consistent all around. As most if not all ai generative process from noise to slowly morphing into shape.
while i agree that the top creators can and will outdo ai at its current stage, but i definitely wouldn’t underestimate the power of ai and in its learning capabilities for the future
That's exactly how I feel about it. I don't think it's taking away jobs as people are saying. It's more like making their jobs easier by adding a new tool for them to shorten the initial sculpts and then improve and modify them to a final piece of art.
@@livinunderthesun9 the thing is how good was this tech 2 years ago?? it was almost non exisitant, now it's this good, in another 10 years it will replace jobs.
Same here. When PS and LR became more home accessible, well for 1K plus of a program, "real" photographers said similar things. How digital photography is just a push of a button, no art, no heart. @@awildtomappeared5925 Hi, just wanted to inform you that this tech does not exist yet. That site used humans to create simple models so they can lie that they are using AI. And also, that is the reason why you pay BEFORE you see the model...bcz a human makes it. This kind of thing was too advanced for AI, the way it divided the mesh...seperated into files...that is impossible. Only a human can do such a thing and such tech will not reach this level in at least 10 years from now.
Hey, I see you're using either a Neptune 4 or Neptune 4 Pro. Do you happen to have to hand the settings you used for slicing your models here available for the public? I'm personally struggling to get settings that produce consistent prints (using the original files that came with the printer are perfect but my own are not). Of course, the lack of support currently available and the current enforcement to use the old Elegoo Cura software isn't helpful. Would appreciate any help you have! :) Awesome video.
That's not an AI website. There's 3D designers behind and they "pay" (actually, they try to not to) 15 bucks per model when they charge 25, 40 and 60 dollars. DON'T USE IT. **They owe hundreds of dollars to different designers!**
Lower polygon models have sharper edges which means the head needs to slow down more when going around corners because of acceleration. Higher polygon count will smooth out those transition angles, leading to a smoother, faster line.
ok , so ... ok. I just tried it. the $40 one, with a high res model figure of mine from an anime and HOLY SH!T is looks amazing and did not expect that. I'm genuinely very skeptical of everything, this is a win. I'm crazy impressed. I took about 12 pictures with my phone in all directions, uploaded and bam!
it's just a matter of time. in a few years (or a few months?) AIs will most likely be able to create detailed 3D files and, based on the user's 3D printer, be able to produce oriented stls ready for printing. I'm a professional modeler and printer and these Ais are a very powerful tool, for now only in the hands of industry experts, but soon everyone (and I mean everyone) will be able to generate and print what they want. the sunset of industry experts (any industry) is upon us. That's why I'm learning another backup job. I'm not pessimistic... it's just how it is! whether you like it or not. Thanks for the video!
Personally, I prefer to create my own prints. It's the art of it for me - been an artist all my life and creating my figures is just an extension of that art. AI isn't anything I'm a fan of, but for people with no talent in art might be fine at the mental part of it and AI would allow them that freedom, so to each their own.
Cool tech; when I first heart the pricing, my first thought was: For how many model? The answer being one... It's not consumer friendly at the mo, in my opinion.
If you're a vendor, you sell a printed model for about $15 each, you only need 2 to make a profit from the lower tier, and 3 to break even from the higher tier. If you're planning on opening a booth or something at a fair, those kinds of numbers are easy. It's 100% worth it, you just have to be intentional with your submissions since you can't just willy nilly upload and convert images without a plan.
I have to kinda disagree. In several of the 3D groups I am in even the "beginner" designers are like $ 30h r for design work. Something like that dripping skull would take me about 6 hours in Nomad. The spooky tree example shown about an hour. I don't even want to guess on the Cthulhu model.
@@RoseKindred Hi, Thanks for your comment and adding to our community. :) days. I don't wanna start a discussion and I'm more than happy with your comment, even though I still think the pricing is not right; among many things, I have to write code on a regular bases and AI has saved me many hours. I know how to code, so, the legs up is really great. If I had to pay $40 for every snipped of code, I'd not use it. My 3d designs are mostly functional and I rarely use Z-Brush, but, still, that's the point I'm coming from. (Don't know if a "professional" would be happy to pay $40+ for an starting point and pass the cost down).
@@ronalddhs3726 Oh I get it. If they know how to use the tools already, then this program doesn't sound like it would be for them. The way I see this, it would be great for those people who want a model to print but cannot find a designer, mainly because they want something new and highly detailed for like ten bucks. I've had too close contacting because of the requests. They don't appreciate the work that goes into learning the software as well as the time spent in the actual design. Even though I am not a professional, I can see this for myself if I want to create a detailed base mesh to build upon. Such as the helmet example. I have no experience making them, so to get a "helmet with 3 horns in a mohawk" I think it would be more than worth it to use this. Create a generalized helmet and then I can add my horns. If I wanted to add wires, like a cyberpunk helmet, I can reload the generalized base mesh and add them myself. Like getting an asset pack for Unreal and using it as a base.
I don’t think this is an ai. Other than the .ai extension in the url it doesn’t state it on the website that it is. I read it took about 15 to 30 minutes for the model to be converted which is not impossible for someone who’s proficient in modeling.
Yeah that price is insane. The capabilities of this software are impessive, and I'm sure they need some crazy hardware and power to do this, but $25 per model is just not at all reasonable. You could probably pay an actual 3D artist to make it for you for not much more than that if its not super complex model.
Very Cool!! I knew this type of thing would be coming soon, but bam I didn't realize it was right now! Awesome video as always, I love how fast tech and AI is giving us more options and ways to create! 💯
Sorry to virat your bubble but it is a ”scam” not ai, there is free ai tool for blender that can get some Of The job done but Requirements still a ton of work.
This is likely the same company (Kaedim). I broke down all of the red flags in a reply to Jessy's pinned comment. They claim to be from Arazona, but I traced them to Germany. Look up the site's domain url. It was registered the same month the site debuted. Tech companies, especially this so-called advance, don't do that. They purchase their domains months to years in advance.
The real power of AI in 3D printing will be learning your printer and correcting the models for your printer. Print model. Let the AI examine the results and determine exactly what things didn't work. Warp the model to correct for your printer's capabilities. Repeat and refine. 5 or 10 or 20 complex test prints to stress all variables, and after that your printer should print near flawlessly, with every model adjusted for your printer in just the right ways so the result is perfect.
Longtime follower and first time commenting. I love all of your videos and they are so helpful, but I'm gonna be leaving a dislike on this one. It's not morally okay to use AI to create models based on other peoples work, we need laws around doing things this way. It only harms small creators who are very talented and make amazing works of art. Also, this is likely not even real AI, it is more likely a team of people who get paid barely anything spitting out models for 25 dollars a pop and they are scamming people. If it were real AI, it would very likely be able to generate the models a lot faster, especially if you are paying such a premium price for them.
1. This is not AI, it is sweatshop modelers posing as AI 2. You didn't mention its $25-40 per model 3. This is preying on underpaid workers, and reinforcing toxic and problematic standards for pay in the industry 4. Supporting this while clearly knowing that is gross, and should not be condoned by anybody in the creative space/profession.
Do you pay before it generates the 3d model, or only after you accept what it generated? I'd hate to use it and pay then be stuck with a model that wasn't what I wanted because I was forced to pay beforehand.
Yeah it’s before unfortunately. That was my same thought as well. I’m assuming it takes some amount of resources to generate / $$ which is why they are charging up front. Maybe that will change in the future. Or like with midjourney I can regenerate to get a different variation
Super cool, but as a digital artist myself. Its a little scary...... As this is my fulltime job. But who knows, maybe this can speed up modeling time for myself, as the most time consuming part in zbrush is creating a base. Ill mess with it. Thanks for the video as always.
Look up 'speed modelling' you'll be amazed at what some one can put out in 30min. Heck, I started learning CAD modelling 10months ago and people around me are already impressed with my output rate and I'm just a total beginner. Imagine what 3+ years can do.....

Here are just a few:
1) No free trail option.
7) Solid evidence this is a scam:
The domain was first registered in late July 2023. ( 49+68949396x850)
For those that don't know, Kaedim is a website that made this exact same claim.

Man, it is not a ai-generated model, it is a human-generatate model. There was a similar site a few years ago. This site has identical UI as that one, only with longer processing time (2x), much higher price (10x) and seemingly ai-genreated topology (triangulated).
Ya what a scam

It's not similar to Kaedim, it's literally Kaedim. They're using their API.

How did you get the front/back/side angle composite in Midjourney?
Genuinely fascinating - and intriguingly peculiar. It seems as if there's some human intervention somewhere along the way in this process. The price seems relatively "high" at first - but it may involve a distantly-outsourced human subcontractor somewhere, slaving away in a mud hut, chained to a desk.
yeah, my first thought was "that's really cheap for a 3D model" because there probably is some human involved
The increased attenuation of human creativity from the actual generation of the final work will prompt challenging questions regarding how much human input is necessary to qualify the user of an AI system as an “author” of a generated work, the scope of the protection obtained over the resultant image, how to assess the originality of AI-generated works where the systems may have been trained on unknown pre-existing works, how copyright might best be used to incentivize creative works involving AI, and more."
sadly the website is now dead.

The prices are really high for what amounts to a few minutes of processing on (probably) some Amazon S3 instance somewhere. Eventually, this type of software will find its way into the open/free domain and it'll just be a feature of Blender.
Same thought here. I'm not paying 20 or 40 dollars for something, where I dont get any indicator of quality.
This seems very intriguing and a great early iteration, but I really wonder just how far you can push AI with something that's free like the ChatGPT plugin & Blender.

Awesome video.
the link is dead did they change the name of the site or something?
what software is he using at 0:48
$25 as a subscription or $25 per file? Because if it's 25 dollars per file that is outrageously expensive
Would love to use this but not at that price sadly. Thanks for the vid
Yeah I’m hoping as it evolves the pricing comes down or a subscription model
Hi thanks for the video and you’re time testing the service, one question what computer and software are you using for the 3D files program ? Thanks
Are polygons and normals any good?
That's not an AI website. There's 3D designers behind and they "pay" (actually, they try to not to) 15 bucks per model when they charge 25, 40 and 60 dollars. DON'T USE IT.
**They owe hundreds of dollars to different designers!**
i'm learning blender, but it will be interesting to see what it can come up with my 2d art.
AI isn't anything I'm a fan of, but for people with no talent in art might be fine at the mental part of it and AI would allow them that freedom, so to each their own.
no one cares!!!!
@@evanaretz3232 you cared enough to reply...
@UncleJessy the website is down , is this service still available somewhere ?
Is there another website like this? The website is down?
that tech is amazing for studios, 2D artists can provide design tests to 3D artists who quickly test ideas
Wait did this site get taken down?
Very Cool!! I knew this type of thing would be coming soon, but bam I didn't realize it was right now! Awesome video as always, I love how fast tech and AI is giving us more options and ways to create! 💯
see, i just wish it wasnt so pricey per image. heck i would love something that just made a basic shape and be able to get to shaping/detailing
Starting up on my Batman nomad sculpt from your tutorial next week!!
Sorry to virat your bubble but it is a ”scam” not ai, there is free ai tool for blender that can get some Of The job done but Requirements still a ton of work.
a couple of months ago similar service was busted for employing human workers. the process is largely manual
5 or 10 or 20 complex test prints to stress all variables, and after that your printer should print near flawlessly, with every model adjusted for your printer in just the right ways so the result is perfect.
u willing to sell some of them skulls? in a smaller fourm?
Costs a fortune, and the results? About as reliable as a rubber crutch, in my humble opinion. 💸🤷♂
1. This is not AI, it is sweatshop modelers posing as AI
2. You didn't mention its $25-40 per model
3. This is preying on underpaid workers, and reinforcing toxic and problematic standards for pay in the industry
4. Supporting this while clearly knowing that is gross, and should not be condoned by anybody in the creative space/profession.
Do you pay before it generates the 3d model, or only after you accept what it generated? I'd hate to use it and pay then be stuck with a model that wasn't what I wanted because I was forced to pay beforehand.
i just quickly checked., it wants payment info before you can see what is generated.
Yeah it’s before unfortunately. That was my same thought as well. I’m assuming it takes some amount of resources to generate / $$ which is why they are charging up front. Maybe that will change in the future. Or like with midjourney I can regenerate to get a different variation
I cannot access the website :(
Super cool, but as a digital artist myself. Its a little scary...... As this is my fulltime job. But who knows, maybe this can speed up modeling time for myself, as the most time consuming part in zbrush is creating a base. Ill mess with it. Thanks for the video as always.
The Website doesnt seem to work anymore????
the link doesn't work anymore
I'm sure you know plenty of artists that could use the work, but i guess cheaper is better, right?
fascinating and frightening times in which we live. I see more and more layoffs in the future
Look up 'speed modelling' you'll be amazed at what some one can put out in 30min.
Heck, I started learning CAD modelling 10months ago and people around me are already impressed with my output rate and I'm just a total beginner.
Imagine what 3+ years can do.....
About to actually try this with NeROIC, we'll find out if my graphics card can handle it.
link is not working
