  • Not an exhaustive breakdown of all the torches available for Light Painting, but these are the torches I have in my kit, and use regularly. It is a minefield, and the variety available today is insane.

Great info about torches, Denis. I'm looking forward to future videos of the tools at work. Keep it up and thank you.

Friendly advice. If you're not going to light paint or use the lights for a good while, take the batteries out. Sometimes they leak carode the contacts.

A great run through - the LED Lenser 3k lumens looks good.

I spent a lot of my money on a decent LED LENSER torch and it only lasted a few months. I couldn't find my receipt so I've wasted a lot of money.

Hi Rob, I used Led Lenser torches for years. Was an ambassador for a while. The quality I’ve seen recently seems ok, but, you never know to be honest. By the nature of why we do, torches get abused.
