@@paulzamora4864 depends on your state. Like in Idaho you don’t need to be certified to get a job but in Oregon you do to get the job and you can do less in Oregon than Idaho. Just depends on your state :)

Hey! I actually never had to do an interview to get into hygiene school. So I'm not exactly sure how they go. I'm sure they probably ask why you want to get in, your experience, and talk about your work ethic/grades!

19 Patients per day?? 😳 we have about 60 for one doctor and 80 for two doctors 😅 and 5 DA
Our half days (4 hour days) we have about 16-19! And we only have 2-3 assistants those days! We could definitely have more patients if we had more assistants - but we only have 2-3 da’s at each office. Total we have 6 assistants and 2 offices open everyday so we all split up 😅

Orthodontic offices should accept a DA certificate. I would call around ortho places near you and see what the requirements are to apply!

I’ve never worked in pediatrics as a general DA but you work with younger kids (about your age) in ortho so you don’t see as many adults!!! I love orthodontics
