make sure to update graphic driver directly from official site. Don't use driver updater to update graphic driver because it will not update latest graphic driver .

It worked for me! I had an issue not long ago where all my steam games corrupted and I had to delete and re-download them and that's when this error started happening... as it turns out I didn't even have the social club launcher installed because I couldn't find it when I went to un-install it. Also I didn't have the newest nvidia geforce experience downloaded but it's all good now!

I did it all but when it crash it is not "gta v has stopen working', just crash on startup, i have all updated, dx12 but i have and older versions what i can do?

I have 2 directories of Gta5, one with few mods & other is fresh. Your tutorial helped me to play the modded gta but still the fresh gta5 has the same fukin problem!

Guys actually all these videos on RUclips ain't working for me .. But i have my own way and I Dont know if it will work for u guys too , but if it does u good to go .. I'm using a laptop so when I open GTA V and the rockstar logo scene pass out then I turn my PC to sleep with the off bottom ( when u just click the off bottom it will sleep ) and after just some seconds or at most a min and u switch it on again with the same ""ON"" key ( the same key that got the PC to sleep ) and yh u are in ... Hope it work for u cos it does for me .

I have a different problem, my launcher works its just that whenever I start it before all the police lights and stars and introductory comes it doesn't exactly freeze it just get's stuck on a black screen with the social club on top also it in the same size as the launcher (no way to make it full screen [tried using alt enter as a key to make it full screen.].)and won't work without leaving me a code error or notification even if I try to start GTA5 from my files: GTA 5.exe it just tells me I need to run it through steam, ultimately leading me back to where I started.
also the same thing happened (the launcher got stuck or something) when I tried these options as well:
1. un install GTA + re-install (including social club).
2. trying to see if it just needed time to load ( a lot of time: 11hrs 56m till I realized that wasn't the solution.)
3. starting the game from rage plugin (from files & desktop).
4. looking up how to fix my problem, I only found fixes for infinite loading screens and non starting + un-installment of social club + re installment ( using installer to re install my files).
5. using open IV to past in the file gameconfig.xml in open IV.
And this all happened (I'm guessing) because I made a CALL 99 in LSPDFR when my game suddenly stopped and exited me out of the game and ever since I have the same problem.
BUT I did find one way to fix and it was to switch to a different computer and re install GTA 5 from steam. Unfortunately you have to re install your mods ( since I use mods) BUT you can always copy you files (if you have mods) just copy your whole directory and paste it in your GTA 5 files and replace any files you already have. BUT if your in my situation and BOTH!! my computers have the same problem then your done for. ( unless you buy another computer or if you already have one to use that doesn't already have my problem.)

of course it will work but update your graphic driver through official site (don't use any updater software or windows updater because it will not update your graphic driver try to update manually i doesn't matter which brand of graphic card are you using )
