Love ur vibe and videos mate, really makes me want to come fish in aus since where I am in new zealand its mainly salt water fishing, I wish I could cruise up rivers and creeks throwing baits. You deserve way more subs man
Thanks mate. Get over to Auz someday and make it happen!
Good 2c u on the water again Bowly.. Happy new year mate.
Happy new year Shalveen!
nice work man wish u a speedy recovery as well. pretty sure that might have been a crenate swimming crab the cod chucked up, the blue tips of the claws kind of give it away, and andy's fishing has cooked them a few times. just got some flick prawns but too scared to use them yet since i reckon Ill lose them on snags but good to see you catching on them yew
Good to see you back on water and smiling again. Quick qst regarding flick prawn weight you prefer eg slow or fast sinking and when do you use either weights urself. Or do you just add a ball sinker if water to fast etc. Cheers 🍻
Thanks Chase. For the flick prawns, I pretty much just chose weights for the depth of water and current I’m fishing. For the mangrove edge fishing I’m doing here I use the standard (lighter) version. Then generally for anything over 2-2.5m I’ll use the heavy versions unless there’s very little current. ✌🏼
I love fishing in creeks like this I don’t normally get jacks tho it’s not common for me but barra, cod, bream I catch all the time
Welcome back. Whats your preferred colours in those flick prawns?
Thanks Warren. I just choose colours based on the water colour/clarity on the day. Clean water you can use any colour, dirty water you might want to op for a tiger prawn or jelly prawn. 125mm & 95mm have rattles in them so they’ll all still work in different clarity’s so you can’t go too wrong.
Cod GOD is back. what a session. haha
Great lure for the great spot.
Awesome, catching a Jack is on my bucket list . I've been fishing for as long as I can remember where do we purchase these prawns from please xo Vic
You can purchase them at most tackle stores, otherwise can just purchase online at chasebaits.com.au
You should try in the dam when the session turns on
Love the vids
Thanks Jace!
hey man, just wanted to know what rod and reel set up you are using?
Spini boi on top
Can you do a vid on how to catch cod, you seem to be an expert and I am sure can share a few of your secret tips with us 😂
All you need to do is just imitate what I do and that’s it. You’ll be a cod god before you know it
Nice 🎣🤙
Just wondering were this area is just the creek system
what kg rod you use for jacks and barra
Hey Bowly, What weight line and leader are you using with that 95mm flick prawn?
Hey mate, I think I was using 20lb braid and 30lb flouro leader in this video 👍🏼
@@bowlysfishing Thanks! Great content in your videos, and even better if you can give viewers a quick heads up on the gear, line and leader weights, that is always appreciated. Cheers
Mate those cod been waiting 3 months for ya🤭
Seemed like it 😂
Good work! Sub’d
Welcome to the channel! 🙏
Hey if u don't mind me asking I've been trying to work it out but where are u based around
North Queensland 👍🏼
Cod God🤴
Oh no! It's another Barra........said no one ever lol
Some saltwater creeks. This would never work in the Fitzroy River around Rockhampton or Port Alma. The fish in that area are too smart, used to extreme fishing pressure. The only thing that works in that area is live bait.
