Nemiks monologue, Marva's speech, the music, the action, the suspense was everything i wanted from this show and it F*ing delivered, very hyped for season 2 hope it stays as good or even better
i love that even the town citizens were rebellious, the empire told em no to mid day and only 40 ppl and they collectively went "screw that" and did the funeral at their time with the all the ppl that wanted to go. it adds to nemik's manifesto, the tiniest thing can lead to a big splash of rebellion.
I think what you were saying about how the main cast didn’t really do much was kind of the point of the episode. In the manifesto speech at the begging (forget the kids name) he says there are whole battalions who have joined the fight and don’t know it yet, and that spontaneous acts of insurrection are happening all the time. I think we go into the episode expecting our main cast to be the ones moving the pieces but they end up as bystanders to something that is much bigger than them. The empire isn’t on Ferrix for Andor, it’s because of cereal boys mistake. The young kid isn’t making a bomb for the rebellion, it’s because the empire unjustly arrested and then hung his father. This whole episode ends up being the one thing too many to break the empires banks and our main cast are just caught up in it. Overall excellent show, hands down the best Star Wars has been since 1980 and a true anti-fascist/authoritarian piece of tv
On a serious note: Andor is a testament to how big and rich the Star Wars lore and franchise is and how it can be retroactively made even richer through well thought out works that take into account established history and respect the lore. It's a proof that one can create a story of another genre that fits right in and makes the whole experience better. The entire Original Trilogy is better now when you consider what the Empire actually was to an ordinary man, how scary a Tie Fighter is and why so many people fought for and against the Empire.
This is such a great show. Easilly the best things Star Wars in many, many years. Too bad so many people were done with SW after Boba Fett. I wonder if this will get rediscovered by the mass publiic iin some tiime.
@@joegreene7619 i heard about a mistake at start but there were news about low numbers all through the run of s1. On top of that most channels that do react videos to TV shows had garbage numbers for their Andor reactions. Some even stopped doing reactions all together. I heard the same from some RUclips reviewers.
When they were in uniform, the commanders had orange-decorated hats. Mosk gave his orange hat to Karn to show that he still considered Karn his commander.
Watch it dub. I think it fits best for the setting with all the different accents. Also it has a bunch of great VA’s that all do a great job. It’s one of the rare gems where dub is better
Andor is best sw ever made. EPIC wriitng, i disagree about everything the guy on the middle said, sw can be more than member berries. Andor unlike all the other disney nonsense can stand on its own as a show. Everyone is missing on this show, there were so many strong moments cuz the writing is soo good.
Cassian ready to give his life for the rebellion was exactly what Luthen expected all along. Cassian was a big bet from him. He never wanted to kill him. He truly expected Cassian to join instead of taking his share and leaving. Even at that, if I am not mistaken, Luthen didn´t really wanted to kill the loose end. It was his partner (that misteryous woman) who convinced him, if my memory serves me right. And gee, did Luthen's bet paid off. I mean, Cassian was directly involved with getting the plans for the Death Star.

Somewhere out there is a hilarious comedy set in the Star Wars universe, and I'm here to see it.
2 days later, I have successfully binged all of WTR's Andor reactions. What a fun ride! Looking forward to season 2
Lmao @Sam turning himself into a pretzel with anxiety🤣
Holy damn never even knew this part never came out
Marava would have wanted her brick to be used as a weapon against the empire
Can't wait till season 2 glad I found another channel that reacted to ANDOR

Wait WTR did an Andor reaction? Brb gotta start their reactions from the beginning.
I think them switching hats was because it'd be easier for them to spot their own hat in a crowd than trying to memorize what the other was wearing.
nah it was because they were both in uniform, switching hats made them mismatched and look like they were in civilian clothes
When they were in uniform, the commanders had orange-decorated hats. Mosk gave his orange hat to Karn to show that he still considered Karn his commander.
Hm I didn't think of my top characters. I'll give it a shot:
1. Kino Loy (Andy Circus)
2. Maarva
3. Vel
Totally ready for a Rogue One reaction now!
Are you guys watching Cyberpunk in sub or dub? I'm thinking about watching it and I don't know which to watch.

@@Warlock_Lelouch makes sense if it's in the US, thanks.
I usually only watch anime in sub but edgerunners is better in dub.
@@Warlock_Lelouch Unfortunately dub is shit for half the characters...

And as far as we know at the moment, Luthen probably didn't live to see that payoff.
