    I watched this last night and love, love, LOVE this border with bright colours! Love the clever tip with grey yarn to save more ends too! Thanks! Gotta try this border on one of my next baby blankets. I'm gonna adapt the blanket idea for a baby blanket. I often do ruffle borders on my baby blankets, which are soooo cute & soft as I use a deliciosly soft 4 ply baby yarn. Blessings Kerryn

    Christa I love all your projects. I wanted to take part in this CAL but had to have emergency surgery 10 days ago. Impingement of nerves in my arm has left me with limited mobility in the arm which will improve with time but has not stopped me trying to do a little bit more crocheting each day. This border is gorgeous and sets the blanket off fabulously. I look forward to 10 pm every Friday (here in Western Oz) to catch up with you and Kaveeta, thank you for allowing us to be part of your wonderful Kenyan life.

    You are so clever! I learned so much. Is there are reason you start in the corners? Does it hide the join better? Thank you for all the time you take for the tutorials. I really appreciate them.

    • @annabellemonroe7728
      @annabellemonroe7728 4 года назад

      She is using Kenyan acrylic which is like Kenya’s version of like a super saver or any other worsted weight acrylic yarn. It also doesn’t have a weight a yardage or a color way so that color doesn’t have a name. It’s kinda just Kenyan acrylic just winging it. Kenyan acrylic can only be bought in Kenya so we can’t get those exact colors unless you happen to live in Kenya which is a big bummer considering how absolutely delicious those colors are. 🤤 🥰

      Hi, Tracy Dobson!! The blanket fits the top of a queen size bed - so 5' wide, by 6' tall. The border is 6" on each side, so 4' wide by 5' tall without. Hope that helps! Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼
