I had never heard nor tried this stitch. I thought it was too difficult, but you demonstrated so well. I have completed my first granny square blanket and needed an uncomplicated but pretty border. Thank you so much.
I love this border! Since I learned it I haven't wanted to finish any of my other blankets with a different border. I love how it makes a slightly wonky blanket look so neat and the edges and corners so straight. It just makes my blankets look better. Plus it's very neutral and beautiful and can go with any pattern. Thank you so much for making this video!
A beautiful border and the dark rows really make it PoP!! 🦋😁 Thank you for this tutorial. And for all the newbies out there, the UK DC is the American SC.
Have just completed a c2c blanket and added this border. I used Hayfield Blossom chunky in Budding Babe. It looks amazing. Thank you Rebekah. Your tutorial is so clear and consise. ❤
Your tutorial is right on time! I’m working on a stripped c2c blanket and have been looking forward to the border. So far, I have not been able to find a border that says yes, YES, I’m your border!! Tada‼️ you came to my rescue. Thank you so much for this border!!
I am so excited!!! I’m finishing up my first ever C2C blanket for my 6 yr old grand daughters Christmas present and I am super thrilled to put this border on it! I’m working with the Red Heart Super Saver color Flamenco, and her favorite color is purple, so I’ll be using a few different shades of purple for my border! Thank you so much for the tutorial! 😊😁
I really like this border, you're instructions are clear (I know from your accent that I have to "convert" the stitches you are talking about), but that camera angle is a killer. This is the only video of yours I've seen, so I don't know that you haven't improved :) It's an elegant and not boring border that's relatively easy to follow, thank you.
I looked for a boarder for my blanket and tried 5 other patterns before trying this beautiful moss stitch pattern. It’s perfect, as the blanket is a thick Bernat Blanket 5 Peacock Blue Variegated color. I wanted something simple for the edging. I used a velvet 5 plum for the boarder and am so happy with it as it does not take away from the thick blanket but compliments it. Thank you so much!
Loved your video!! I am just finishing a C2C blanket for a friend who had surgery and was looking for a nice edging. I found yours and I'm so glad I did!! :)
Hi there! I just finished my corner to corner blanket and i used your edging. Oh, it turned out so beautifully!!! Thank you for sharing it with us! Regards, Lynne , Pietermaritzburg, KZN South Africa
Beautiful work as always. Watching your videos has taught me so much. I am more confident to try new stitches because of your excellent teaching style.
Thank you so much for your tutorial! I'm going to be making a c to c baby blanket for my Niece's baby shower and I've have been looking everywhere for the perfect border. Now I have found it! ❤️ Thanks again so much!
This is really lovely. I’m going to use this on a throw I’m finishing up for my little granddaughter. She’s five, so it has to be perfect, and she is old enough to pick her own colors lol. Thank you

Oh my gosh - I haven't gotten to watch all of this yet, but THAT border....Gaaaaah! So gorgeous ~~Love it! 💕 Thanks so much for ALL of your tutorials ~~ they are absolutely fabulous!!✨
This will be perfect for the c2c baby blanket I am finishing. Thank you for your all your wonderful videos. You are a real talent. Merry Christmas!!🥰❤️
Hello I've just finished a granny square blanket and this tutorial has helped me so much I love this stitch. Thank you so much for sharing your talent 💗
As a first time subscriber, I just learned the hard way you are using UK crochet terms, not US. 😀 Oh well, it just turned out to be more practice for me. Anyway, it came out beautifully! Thank you for sharing.
@bloosom crochet. Question have you ever tried a susan bates crochet hook? The hook that you use has a "too hooky" head on it.(hooky) If that is a word. I notice that it slows you down with hesitent movements(which you do a lot.. not sure if you notice it) you have to "try" the stitch a second time a lot. I think you will have faster and better stitches with a flater head hook. Just an observation. 4:18
Hi I very much enjoyed this tutorial. I would like to make a suggestion. Please share with us the type and color of yarn you used for this tutorial blanket you in fact made? What yarn did you use for the border?Thank you.
This border looks so nice on the blanket I made for my niece’s first baby and I absolutely love it. Since then, I have tried to put this border on 18”x24” seed-stitched preemie blankets, but the borders keep bunching (warping). Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
I tried this but had to chain 2 in order for it to work, the chain 1 made it too tight and seemed to shorten the edge. It is a beautiful stitch so I really want to figure it out.
For those in the USA the stitch she called ''double crochet" is what we call single crochet!
Ok! That had me confused( dbl crochet is our single crochet( in US)! Thanks for that helpful tip!
Thank you! That helps tremendously!
At first I was confused but then remembered she was talking with a British accent so it is considered a single crochet here in the US!😀
USA and Canada too.
Thank u so much

Love this, exactly what I was looking for to finish a lap blanket.
This is exactly the kind of border I wanted for my huge multicolor blanket!! Love it, can’t wait for the weekend to get to work!
This is the perfect border I was looking for my c2c.
I love this border, I did a C2C baby afghan and then a 52” x 62” C2C throw with the moss stitch border…I love how it sharpens the corners!
Delighted to find this, completed a granny square blanket and put this border on it. Looks great! Thank you.
I live this and I am going to use it on the Tulip Granny Square blanket I am making. Thank you so much for another wonderful tutorial.
Great tutorial. Love 💕 the look of the standing double crochet when changing colors. I will absolutely use it.

So in the UK a double crochet is a single crochet in the US? Im a beginner and I’m a little confused. Very helpful video tho ❤️☺️
Lisseth Solano You’re correct ☺️ US single = UK double
Absolutely... In the US, it is known as a single crochet. Good luck 👌🏽😁
Love it, got a couple of baby projects to do so this is definitely going to be used x x x
About to start with the border but can see already it's going to be a beautiful finish... Let's do this 💪
Thank you so much for sharing hugs Shelley 💜

You should mention that your double crochet is the American single crochet.
Love it.
What green yarn did you choose to make the green c2c?
I am adding this to finish a basket weave blanket but the edge has started to ruffle - what do you recommend?
Can you do this on an edge that has an even or an odd amount of stitches?
Subscribed!
Thank you! Welcome 😊
Gorgeous. May I ask what color of yarn this is. Is it self stripping or did you use various colors. I just love it
When you say "skip some", exactly how many spaces do you make?
