Note, after making this video, I realized on a later project that I didn’t need to remove the paper inside the buttons at all. They work just fine with the LEDs as is.

I love the Krusty Seal of Approval!!!
Do you know if someone out there has a custom control deck to fix the track ball placement? I want this game but that layout is killing me.

Yup! as soon as I saw that, I knew I had to order one. It was really easy to install, too.
I hear you on the control placement on this deck. The buttons on the Homer player station is exceptionally hard to work with. Check out GrafixArcade on Etsy.com, and send Adrian the owner a note about what you're looking for. He makes custom decks to order for all sorts of games. He's sending me one now to turn this Simpsons into a 2-player cabinet (space saving), which will likely end up here as a video in a week or two. He did my Golden Axe conversion deck as well, and he's really great to work with. Thanks for the note!

@@PoppArtstudios Thanks for the advice! I'll have to reach out to Adrian and see if a fix can be made! I look forward to future videos!

After assembling my own Simpsons machine, I saw those preformed coin doors and had shallow hope for them being interactive. I mean, they literally say 'push for credit' (or something like that) on them. Alas, it's either meeting modification half way or future plans. So, I noticed that they were transparent and then saw this video. Noticed that there was enough space. So, I drilled in a few holes and fed through these small wires with multi-color LED's on them. And wow...does it truly pop with those in there. Especially with all the effects modes that it came with. Thanks for the idea.
