iOS 13 introduced a "Fonts" section in our iPhone & iPad's settings, and in this video, I explain exactly what that feature is, how to install custom fonts and what applications you can use those custom fonts in!
This isn't the old keyboard method, or the method where you would install a profile to get the fonts (like with iFont), this is all about the new Fonts feature that was introduced with iOS 13.

There was a time YEARS ago when Apple allowed you to change the system fonts on the Mac. OS 8 and 9 were also so cool with all the themes.

Yes I am disappointed.....honestly the only reason why I miss Android because I was able to decorate my whole phone.....I usually make my own Lockscreens and Wallpapers so when I heard about font’s I got really excited but quickly found that it wasn’t for the entire phone 😒👎🏻.....also can you please make a video explaining how to make shortcuts for Siri specifically using Spotify

To the people complaining that you can’t use fonts everywhere within iOS, it’s important you know that fonts for iPhone are specially designed for the purpose of being rendered on screen at small sizes. Every single letter has been been engineered so that it’s details are understood and not a fuzzy, illegible mess. That process is called hinting; it’s a very expensive, time-consuming process.
99% of the worlds fonts are for printed text rather mobile interfaces or small screens.
Also, fonts like other computer software can be malformed or corrupted to where an application or entire device cannot work! You don’t want just any font as your interface font; such an important font needs to be properly vetted by the manufacturer.
Lastly an interface font must have an expanded character set to render other languages besides American English, which Apple has taken great care in delivering in iOS.
You don’t need to use it if you don’t want to. It would probably take quite a bit of effort to download and install a font, so people who want to do that would probably have a good reason.
And yet Samsung is able to make it work

It is good that you can’t change the system font because people will start using shit fonts like comic sans (like people on android do) and it would break the good UI of iOS. The system font is good, don’t need to change it

Fonts already existed before this update on iPhone, if they’re not going to put them on the entire phone then it shouldn’t be a feature

Font Diner has been installed in both I pad and Iphone 11 and it shows up when I go to General the Fonts but when I go to my mailbox and go to the Various Available fonts, the Font Diner Fonts are NOT AVAILABLE. 13.1.2 has been installed on both.

Thanks, this was very helpful. My takeaway is that few apps can use the Fonts feature right now but more will in the future. Apple wasn’t very informative on this point.

i was opening for this to work in safari and here on youtube but alas i just tried both and nope as of now.
there are "creative sites" and what not on safari so might get it there too eventually but nothing for now. i feel it would be pretty annoying for an apple employee to copy and past certain links to websites to allow this font feature.

I installed the Font Diner app on my iPad running on iOS 13.2.3...it’s an older iPad Pro..the 9.7 inch. The large and small A, “Aa”, does not appear on my keyboard in the Apple Mail app! If you can’t use it for writing emails...what is the point of claiming that it will work with iOS 13. Clearly it does not. At least not for me. Am I doing something wrong? I rebooted my iPad and that did nothing.
