Hebrews 13:4 is THE GUIDE for any Biblically married man and woman. It clearly states that whatever THEY decide to do in thier bed is UNDEFILED. All other assertions and conclusions, no matter how pious , holy, or concerned they may be, are of no consequence in this debate. It really is as simple as this " God allows the married couple to decide what they want to do in their bed, and all others, including the Church, can butt out".

Maclean; I have a simple question that demands an answer from you; How can a man dishonor a wife that agrees to what they are doing?

For Mark to dishonour his wife in this way demonstrates that he is not qualified to write books about marriage. Not to mention how he dishonours God in the process. The shame he has put on his wife, is far from his command to love her so much that he would die for her. If you want truth and how to treat your spouse - he is the last person you should listen to. 1 more reason to avoid this man.
If you want to stop divorce, preach the Gospel. Anyone leaving a marriage is being disobedient.

    Well discerned Tim Challies !!!
No sodomy in marriage, why? Because anal sex is a deviancy, it is for outgoing purposes, not in-going.
The packaging may look fine, but what about the contents.
    1 Peter 1 : 23 - 25
For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.
For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord stands forever."
And this is the word that was preached to you.
    Proverbs 21 : 2
All a man's ways seem right to him, but the LORD weighs the heart.

Sexual hang-ups have been common among Christians in the past 100 or so years during the puritanical era. Sex has been thought as dirty and limited to certain "positions" in sex (i.e. "missionary style"). Song of Solomon is chock full of positions and intimate details of sex, but not hardly ever addressed or spoken of from the pulpit therefore leaving the uneducated in scriptural references confused, feeling guilty and ashamed because of false guilt and religious teachings.

If he is going to complain about the book, he should get on the Jews for not allowing their people to read the Song of Solomon until they hit a certain age.

I agree with MultiThemob. Waste of time.. Come on people let's be real.. There's sex everyday on TV. Face it, we are all exposed to it. Should we as Christians not set things straight on what God had intended sex to be? How sex is blessing from God? Of course I'm saying this in the context of marriage. And why are we as a church so afraid to talk about sex to the teens? Praying and encouraging them to desire Jesus Christ more then porn or sex.. The parents aren't going to do it. Soli Deo Gloria
