Microsoft does not need to record your typing or voice or use your camera to record you or have access to your documents. Windows 10 is the most instrusive operating system out there.

I created a MS account-checked said account in 30 days on what they collected and seen bank info and cc info that was collected from just logging into my banks site and my cc site. yet MS says it's for diagnostic purposes-there is no reason this info should be on MS servers. total garbage in my opinion... Just a legal way to steal your identity easier.

There is no need to login with Local Account, if you are using Microsoft Account, you are good to go. However, if you want to sign-in with local account, you will have to create a new user account and don't enter your Microsoft Account Details.

I got that same error, while being on windows 8.1, My solution was that when I upgraded to Windows 10, My Microsoft account worked. If your Microsoft account doesn't work with Windows 8 anymore, upgrade to Windows 10.

There is no need to login with Local Account, if you are using Microsoft Account, you are good to go. However, if you want to sign-in with local account, you will have to create a new user account and don't enter your Microsoft Account Details.
