The point is that Częstochowa and Licheń are two (of many) Marian sanctuaries. And his wife turned into a devotee who prefers to pray than to "smoke".
For my part, I will recommend the sketch "Jerzyk dzisiaj nie pije". And "Z kim na wakacje?" Also Cabaret of Moral Unrest.

Personally, I think one of the best KMN sketches is "Ziółko" also called "Radio Play". When watching it I always have an impression they are doing a Looney Tunes gag.

It's a strange situation. For example Monty Python Flying Circus was very controversial. I'm not saying he wasn't good :) But their jokes about racism, nationalities, politics, communism, Jews, Poles, Germans were very strong. And Monty Python was British. What is wrong with the British that they avoid such jokes now?

I generally prefer Russian humour, but when it comes to Polish sketches, this is one of my favourites. KMN's been doing a brilliant job for the last 30 years.
Jakie masz źródło rosyjskiego humoru? Ja śledzę krótkie anegdoty (tłumaczenia wrzucam na joemonster, razem z gościem o nicku peppone, który jest tam główny specjalistą od rosyjskich dowcipów na tym obecnie bardzo rusofobicznym portalu ;) )
I you think kmns were doing briliant job, then you have low taste on cabarets and culture at all.
If you want a good comedy (Kabaret) id recomend "Kabaret Ani Mru Mru - Alkohimalaiści - Latający Klub 2"

The best Polish cabaret is the TEY(Tej means vocative in Greatpoland dialect, very popular in this region) cabaret. It was about communist reality. He condemned her stupidities and flaws. Even though there was strict censorship in those times, these guys were able to present reality in such a way that the authorities could not be bothered. Moreover, it was very funny, full of subtexts, ambiguities, irony and sarcasm
TEY is one of the best cabarets, but it's obvious that you generally don't know much about Polish cabarets, and you haven't seen or read much. Already in the 19th century, the mischievous Krakow Green Balloon (Zielony Balonik) was famous, and before World War II there were many great cabarets (it was the golden era of cabarets in Poland, especially in Warsaw), and jokes and scenes from them circulate in Polish identity and everyday Polish language to Today. In turn, in the times of communism, in addition to the political and sociological TEY, there were also great student cabarets such as Bim Bom in Gdańsk, and in Warsaw Dudek (with Wojciech Młynarski and Stanisław Tym!!) or the surreal Kabaret of Elder Gentlemen (Kabaret Starszych Panów) or Piwnica Pod Baranami in Krakow. Now there are also a lot of great cabarets, so don't exaggerate with this TEY (although I admit that it was very good and unique). But is it the best? In my opinion no. One of the few best.

This polish comedy is actually OK. BUT...
Polish comedy in general isn't funny anymore. It is for my parents, but for me it's kind of you embarrassing, all this jokes are old and not funny anymore.
Stand-ups are much better.
Cezary Pontewski in example is good.
