My Bosch is 21 years old, never had a problem, washed beautifully. It just died. I'm so disappointed to find that Bosch has made the higher quality dishwashers depend on the Phone! People just want to wash their dishes, not be dependant on our phones. I'm reading how much trouble these WiFi dishwashers are and it just adds frustration to our lives that we don't need. How many Gen Z's can afford Bosch's WiFi dishwashers? If Bosch is going to make their New dishwashers all WiFi, and actually ONLY offer certain features on WiFi, they are missing customers who don't want WiFi to run their lives and their dishwashers and will go to another company. I'm betting Bosch is missing Sales when people find out they have to deal with WiFi for their dishwashers. What happens if your WiFi goes down? IT's just a dishwasher, not rocket science. Bosch should have made these dishwashers an either or. That way people who just want to wash their dishes don't have to use WiFi, and can access extra features as well. I have a Samsung range and you have a choice. You can use WiFi or NOT. The range is not dependant on Wifi, but if that's you THING go ahead use it. I want at new Bosch, but I don't want the headaches of having to use my phone to wash my dishes.
My Bosch 800 threw an E07 code and requires a repair at over $500 and only 4 years old. I paid $1150 for it. This shouldn’t give any problem at such a young age. I’m single and only once a day or so. My first Bosch lasted 10 years, that’s why I bought this one. Not happy with Bosch.
We returned the 800 due to poor drying. We have the 500 which opens the door at the end of a cycle. Much better and cheaper! Also the 800’s power control is just a gimmick.
I'm going to miss my 25 year old Kenmore, that just died this week. The only item that needed replaced on it was a water spray diffuser at the top, and that was cheap and easy to fix. The newer dishwashers just don't last long enough.
I just ordered one from Costco canada installed it yesterday and it filled up and drained but that's it! Spray arm total failure. I'm also now returning the stove I bought with it I'm not hopeful and there's a weird smell during use still. The 4 door fridge is amazing tho. Trust the reviews. On costco canada the reviews all said dishwasher and stove is garbage fridge is amazing 🤷♀️ that was 100% my experience too. Too bad it was a wicked sale. Less than $3000 Canadian for all 3
@@Phil-D83 idk, maybe? I'm just freaked out now. I can't handle any more appliance issues. I want at least a year with no issues. It's getting crazy out here. Appliance used to last 25+ years now, we're wishing for a few years at best. 🤦♀️ the governments cry about the environment and still allow that to happen. Imagine the landfill these garbage appliances create.

You don't need to have a phone. The wifi function just allows to use one of you want to

Bosch’s dishwasher is a scam because they don’t honor their warranty. I had a $550 repair bill they would not pay. Don’t get fooled!!! 4:44
