Yup Samsung was the worst dishwasher I’ve ever got. 1st year the seal at the bottom of the door went on us. Horrible design, requires replacing the entire door!! Thank god it was under warranty but it happened the following year and they argued with us back and forth about another replacement until we were out of warranty so we just put bowls under the sides to catch leaking water. Recently the drain pump and hose went on my and after replacement not even a week after and it just refuses to clean dished properly and dry them. Last night I kicked the door in and decided enough is enough I think I’m going for a Bosch, probably not perfect but anything at this point is better than a Samsung. We have samsung washer and dryer too and same thing. Not even a year and the whole control board went on the washer 🤦♂️ Sorry for the rant just super frustrating, I could go on all day about Samsung but I’ll stop here! Lol
bought 3 Samsung refrigerators and 2 Samsung tvs. All three refrigerators had ice maker failures with in 2 or 3 months of purchase also the auto fill pitcher would not fill. Samsung would send someone to repair but they would never get it fixed. parts were wrong ones sent or something.The warranty would run out without ever being fixed and Samsung would just say it was out of warranty. On my TVs (they were high end 9 series) the browsers would not update so all the web sites quit working and told me I needed to update my browser. tried to update and there was no update. Contacted Samsung and they said they no longer supported the TV, It was only 18 months old. I will never trust ANYTHING that SAMSUNG sells. buy the Bosch
Had a Bosch 100 for 6 years, never had an issue. re[;aced it with a higher end Bosch when I did a kitchen remodel that needed a stainless steel look. But the one I got rid of is still working to the person I gave it away to now 10 years or so.. Go Bosch or go Broke.
There is a great video by the Maytag Repair guy persona(Bens Apliance and Junk) that explains all the brand consolidations and so forth.. so you think its a Maytag.. or GE is made in America... Think again.
Samsung is certainly the best, but durability is questionable and service lacking. Check your service area, their QC isn't likely to improve anytime soon. I purchased and used the 22 model, without the extended warranty, my mistake, 600 loads and the linear motor failed. It's a known problem and easy to fix for $200, but I'm not willing to become a Mr Fix it for a weak product. Get the extended warranty and make sure they have local service vendors.
@ For my experience the cleaning aspect of the "WaterWall" VS the common spinning wand is a game changer. Unfortunately they haven't perfected the components. Features and options are great and it's unbelievable quiet. I don't need a twenty year appliance, but five years of trouble free service should be an expected standard.
