If you're thinking of building a new home, you'll want to watch this video first. I'm going to share with you why you should never build with these 2 home builders.
And theres A LOT that you should be with.
Truth be told. My experiences are only mine, and only mine alone. And just because I don't trust them, that doesn't mean you will have the same experience. Or just because they communicated with me poorly, that doesn't have to be your experience.
There is not 1 builder in Boise that I don't trust to build me a structurally sound home.

I’ve heard Toll Brothers is terrible !
While I have my gripes with them, they have a couple good things going for them.. I would never build with them though

First, I'd like to say that you did a great job at pointing out the value of having a realtor for buying a new home with a production company like KB. My wife and I like to do our own research at our own pace and most times we get the fastest answers by going direct. Now I know not to give them my personal information which could cause them to deny the percentage owed to a realtor.
Second, I have a few questions.
Which production builder offers the best value for their basic/standard build before upgrades?
Which production builder charges the least amount of markup for upgrades?
Which semi-custom builder offers the best value for their basic/standard build before upgrades?

We want a 80' 90' era home that has been remodeled. One acre with trees. Home must be one level.
Those certainly exist! a few areas come to town!
Great video! But you have me a bit worried though as I was maybe considering a Toll Bros home. But it was one of their quick move in homes. Thoughts??? Thanks.

his one issue is he wasnt there for the first visit so he isnt getting paid?
@jdominguez8723 Yup! That was 1 issue. Which is incredibly shady. I just stopped in 1 day a couple of years ago just to look at a model. Wasn't even thinking of buying. But they wrote that visit down and since I didn't have an agent with me, they weren't willing to give my agent I wound up using any commission. Thankfully I did wind up buying this quick move in home and the toll bros agent I worked with turned a blind eye to this and I was able to get my agent his commission. I've loved in this house for almost 5 months now and aside from some really stupid issues on Toll bros part in closing the home, the home itself is really well built and I got an incredible deal on it. So it all worked out in the end.

I Want a high-end security gated community home one story only, no stairs. Does Eagle area offer this type of community?
Security guards are rare.. i know of one and its not in eagle
We can highly recommend Fortify Construction. Brian Recommended them to us. If you are buying a lot, west of Boise, call them. Chet Walker is the owner and him and his people walk you through the whole process. Chet will be on site constantly and is super quality oriented. Our home was a semi-custom build from a production plan we found on line. Chet let us “tweek” as needed of our wants and wishes. We couldn’t be happier and made great friends with Chet and his contractors along the way!
Chet is the best! Love this recommendation!
Don't use Taylor Jene homes either they don't pay their subcontractors
