To avoid driving clear to Salt Lake City, Allegiant Air has non-stop flights between San Diego CA and Idaho Falls from May - August, and Allegiant possibly flies year round from Idaho Falls into Las Vegas, ....I think you can then pretty much fly anywhere from Vegas. Also, Orange County CA has non-stop flights from John Wayne Airport into Idaho Falls year round using Allegiant.
We have loved using Allegiant to get direct flights out of Idaho Falls! Their options are still limited but we definitely take advantage of them when we can!
Interesting! I went to pharmacy school at Idaho State in Pocatello. I was waiting to go into the service after graduation and worked for the company that put in the first natural gas lines in Idaho Falls. I was a progress engineer. Great town.
Lived in I.F. (some called it "Idiot Flats"; somewhat tongue in cheek---I think...lol) for about a dozen years ending in the late '80's. Loved the proximity to Driggs and the Tetons. Was a whitewater kayaker so all kinds of options there. Loved the Snake River running through town. Not LDS but had no problem with the Mormons, although I wouldn't want to be in a business dealing with them....just a hunch. Cost of living was decent, compared to Sun Valley or Jackson Hole. Not much culturally but that's changed as I noticed during my last couple of visits (live in Sun Valley now). Closest in-person university is Idaho State, 50 miles south in Pocatello. Heavy traffic used to be confined to 17th street where all the shopping centers were. Now its busy everywhere with the exception of the Northgate Mile. Once the 2nd WalMart opened up next to the I-I5 I decided it was time to move to someplace quieter, so I ended up in Mackay (no stop lights) and after a year, to Sun Valley.
We drive through Mackay quite often on our way to Stanley. It is definitely a lot quieter than Idaho Falls! We have definitely grown in the last 20 years. With that comes some good and some bad. Ending up in Sun Valley is amazing! SO beautiful!
I live in Idaho Falls and the cost of living is high! Tons of people are pouring in to this area so that alone makes it crowded and expensive. But hay, you can rent a 2 bedroom apt. for about $1,500.00 a month
The cost of living has definitely risen in the last 5 years. East Idaho used to be "cheap", but just like everywhere, prices have risen. Hopefully with all of the townhomes and apartments that are being built, we can see a stabilization of rent.
Hi there! Here in East Idaho we haven't seen any signs of a bubble. Home prices are stabilized and I'd say it's a pretty balanced market. The lower priced homes are moving quickly and it's a competitive market.
Although we have seen a balancing of the market here in Idaho Falls, we have not seen evidence of a "pop". I am hopeful with lower interest rates that some of my first time home buyers will have better luck in the market than they have had in the last few years!
Hi Hailey, I recently visited your RUclips channel and noticed that it has a visually appealing design. However, upon further inspection, I identified several areas that could use improvement. One crucial aspect is search engine optimization ( SEO ), particularly the implementation of rank tags and tag volume. It seems like these elements have not been fully addressed on your channel. There may be other issues such as Thumbnail, Due to these problems, your RUclips channel growth is decreasing
Be cautious of The Body Snatchers. They hide under white shirts and ties, some can be seen riding around on bicycles with books. Others may be seen in your workplace and schools. Be careful and wise if engaging with them.
Thank you for being so honest!
Always!

You are enough! Wow... I had to flip the picture, that was bugging the heck out of me. I could not read that backwards.

Awesome! Where did you end up? It's changed so much in recent years!

What are your thoughts about the real estate bubble popping soon?!

It's strange for the size of idaho falls thiers no state university
Our closest State University is ISU in Pocatello. We also have ISU and U of I campuses on the west side of Idaho Falls.

🤣 I get your reference, although some might not.
