Terry is amazing and a joy to watch. He is so knowledgeable and proud of what he does. Thank you for introducing us to so many interesting people and coaches!
I am a huge Country Coach fan. I am on my third upgrade in the CC family, having started with an Intrigue and now own an Affinity with the 600 Cummins. I love these machines. The County Coach tag line is "The Finest Motor Coach Ever Built."
This was pretty cool, I knew about the Lexa but I've never seen one before, they made so few of them. Looking forward to seeing the 45'. Thanks for posting.
Definitely one of my first stops when I arrive in America. Your knowledge is so extensive and with Andrew recommending you it’s a must. Wishing you both a very Happy New Year for 2022 💕🥂🍾🖖💫
Nicely done Andrew. You will find that truly there are no two Lexa’s alike. I am the proud owner of Lexa #6254 which was a late production Lexa. I kid you not, I am excited every time I head to the storage unit to fiddle around with it. Having the front captain chairs reupholstered as we speak which will really make it look brand new again. Thankful, Andrew, for the RUclips exposure you have given to the Country Coach family.. A wonderful family of coaches and owners alike!
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele Andrew, that question has generated a number of different answers. To be sure, the common theme is that they made less than 30 Lexa’s in all. Eric Olstrom out of Arizona’s Olstrom Custom Coach who worked for Country Coach has shared that there were only 14 made. So at this point, it’s somewhere between 14 and 30 :-)
Absolutely beauty. This is what I want for retirement (still a decade out lol). I’m really enjoying your content! Maybe in a decade or so I’ll hit you up to rent your pad at Flathead Lake!
I actually like that you filmed this in "road ready" positions. Since it's not a 5th wheel, it's interesting to see what it's like, space wise, while actually traveling! Not quite sure how I feel about the exterior color scheme, but everything else is just exceptional, especially for a coach of this age! (Engine choice is great, pre DEF is nice, one less expense!)
Hey, I've been looking at the two Lexa's at Kenai Coach for about a month. It is a shame my coach (trade) is the opposite corner of the US, down in Florida. Would make a great road trip up and then bring the "new" Lexa home instead!! Can't find any Lexa's for sale on the east coast. They are beautiful!
@@RVingwithAndrewSteele - Seriously. And Yet you would have new Back Splash and New Window's. Everything flat surfaced (Windows/Awnings). And You can Always Replace the older Tv's on Your Time. And ONLY 40,000 miles. Hello..
@@horizon42q sorry I would take an older country coach any day over a new Winnebago. They don’t make coaches like that anymore. True classics built like tanks.
Great vid! Love to see a vid on problems maintaining/servicing/parts for a 20 yo orphaned coach. Is it hard to get a Cat DP worked on? Extra costs? Thx!!
I would update to lithium batteries and update to the largest solar possible also update the tv and keep the thick mattress and love the cat engine..double check the plumbing ..awesome price won’t last long
For the right ft length no rear closet north south bed instead full length king & end of bed furniture dresser poss tv lift on the back or folds open/up or folds down, so u still get full drawers.
are you kidding me...I have been watching Andrew Steele yac yacking for 2 weeks now.. after the ❤️🔥 burning of his Coach he should have been put in a prevost liberty and a Newell by now as much as he has helped sponsors and other's sell there coaches each of Andrews Coaches should be wrapped named The A TEAM with Steele with Andrew driving one and a Driver driving the other.... TEAM carwash Jeff....
Thank you Andrew love to see these rigs. If a person bought this coach would they be able to stay at a place like where you bought your site? I'm asking because of the "10 year rule".
My experience has been that if your coach is low end, or rough looking the resorts have an excuse to keep you out. Of course over the phone they can’t see it. Pulled into a lot of “10” year rule parks with a nice older (1985) Marathon Prevost and they didn’t blink an Eye. A lot of folks (not recommending this of course) lie and tell them a newer year as most office and gate personnel haven’t a clue as to age.
Great coach. Only worry I have with Country Coach or any manufacturer that don't exist anymore is that when something breaks, usually it can be easily fixed, replaced, substitute or upgraded, but where can you get an replacement windshield when it cracks due to flying pebbles and rocks?
Windshields are a non issue. The only thing problematic would be body parts or obsolete electrical components. Usually options are available for electrical components. RV salvage yards are options for body parts.
No worries about finding CC parts as they're readily available. Finding someone to work on them could be an issue depending on where you live. We've had ours since 2014 and would get another in a minute.
It’s priced very attractively for what you’re getting. I too own a Lexa and have replace a windshield. They are available for sure. Surprisingly I haven’t experienced challenges if finding any replacement parts. Other than fiberglass, cabinets and wiring, most parts are made by manufacturers still in business. Also, a number of the motorhome service shops in Oregon bought up a lot of the parts and molds that should keep these things on the road and will likely outlive most of us.
We bought a lovely Monaco motorhome, when I looked into the history of the coach, the previous owners husbands all passed away from heart issues, my late husband too, I sold the coach and that owner also died of heart issues. So any coach I buy I would like to know if the owners are alive. 😊
Hilarious how everything gets measured by the Prevost.. if ya have to Hope it’s like a Prevost, ya need to jus buy a Prevost. Their only a little over a million or two.

Love this coach and the tour. Now you have me thinking, should I go with a newer more expensive RV or buy a jem like this one.
He has so many great used coaches to choose from it's probably difficult to pick the one you'll want. I'm really becoming a CC fan
Nice Andrew!!! You and Sadie lady could be very happy in that !!!$ you want a Country coach, you have great connections for service
Thanx for that! Beautiful Country Coach

Awesome video of a great coach! I would like one of those someday maybe.
Pre-DEF motor makes it even more desirable 👍
Stay away from CAT. Straight from a guy that has owned Newell, Newmar, Prevost - all of them. Cummins only

I'll put this on my list to Santa and Mail it out today, priority!

This was one hell of a deal!! That C15 alone was worth it!! If I saw this again for this price I’d buy it without even seeing Irvin person

Yea !! Another pre Def
Ironing board in slot for cutting board great idea noted.
This is the coach for me
nice,,,
I may have missed it is it a tag axle or twin screw
The 42ft needs extension drive on off golf cart type ramp extension bc it is shorter no big deal extra 3/4ft raise lower ramp best in market.
Every time someone said Lexa my Alexa tried to answer 😂.
😂😂😂😂
Super super nice. Any ideas how the older coaches are financed? I’d rather buy an older quality coach than a newer coach without the same quality.
I did a video where I talked about that. If you type my name and rv financing in to the search bar it should come up

I just had one of mine replaced. It is the side lights that are a problem.

There has to be a reason for the market pricing--I can't even imaging trying to find a windshield piece for that coach.

All lights converted to LEDs?
Andrew, I need an entry door for my 2000 Affinity. Did the guys in Oregon hoard at parts? Just grabbing at straws here. Great video as usual.
Call the guys at Oregon Motorcoach, they bought a lot of the parts from the Country Coach auction.
Wow David funny you ask. Bryan walked by a door to a 2000 affinity just the other day but unfortunately he didn't notice it.
@@misterrobert6799 Ok. I plan to contact the RV Salvage in Kentucky to ask the same question, but thanks for your sarcasm.
Both of those couches sleepers?
What is a “what not”? There seems to be a lot of them on this coach.
A classic, good price but will need $$. It’s age is the killer.
Any chance of a virtual ride? Is it a Prevost quiet ride?
I didn't have very much time in Oregon but will definitely try to do that in a future video.
5 months and 31 coaches ago for this dealer... great buy for the next owner looks like
I would trade in mine and buy one of these in a heartbeat if it were set up for a family of 4. It’s always for a retired couple. Now I’m sad........
