from all my research, it seems Country Coach Manga's are the absolute best RV's for the money. You can find really nice ones for as little as 150k with it all. iu canot wait to buy one
Man these videos make me nostalgic. When I was a kid in the mid nineties, I collected motorhome brochures. I had a file of everything. You name the Class A, I had the brochure. This was way before the internet and it took a lot of work. I so admired all the ingenuity and innovation in the industry and as you would imagine, was particularly smitten with brands like Country Coach. I must admit, the biggest object of my affection was the Holiday Rambler Navigator. I most fondly recall the pre-slide era, and still regard it for its simplicity and elegance. But these coaches really struck a chord with me for some reason. Seeing them today reminds me how disappointing it is that these manufacturers were the victim of a recession that indiscriminately claimed them through no fault of their own. The quality and craftsmanship was without question. Most of all, I loved them for the fact that they represented an industry that stood purely for enjoyment. RVs were purchased by people who wanted to travel and enjoy our great country, and coaches like these were for people able to enjoy the fruits of a lifetime of hard work. I admired that they stood for quality and achievement, in so many ways. And I still do.
When I was a boy my dad bought an old BlueBird bus. He and my oldest brother converted that bus to a Motorhome with no plans. They built the cabinetry and did all the electrical work, plumbing, holding tanks and everything. It was crazy. We lived in that bus for about three or four years. He eventually sold it. It was a very comfortable home. It was a little cold when the temp dropped too low. Which it did because we were in the Pacific Northwest. Then we were in Arizona for the summer so we froze in the winter and then baked in the summer. LOL. But my dad was quite an innovator.
Love this couch, I think mostly because of the 600 HP Motor, I remember seeing you driving a couple of Prevost's and when you guys drove over railroad tracks I could see this CC couch Jiggle/shake, I watched you drive those Prevost's, It was like driving a Marshmallow, Zero shaking, Just a smooth ride. Funny you brought up Matt from Matt's RV review, I love his most important feature, The Three PPP's (prime pooping position) in a bathroom. Someone like Matt, Me or really Big Tony, Fitting on a toilet is important.
Before you even said anything, I was like....wow...that thing is quiet. As close to ZERO rattles, clunks and squeaks as I've ever heard. So impressive.
Cole, I must be mistaking, but I thought it rattle and clunked terribly over the tracks? Perhaps, I'm just use to all the Prevost videos driving smooth going down the road? I don't own either one so maybe I should just shut up?
Nice neutral interior, one of the best I've seen from this era. Love the maple and the color in the counters sets it off nice. I'm ok with the valances. Pre DEF is a huge plus.
I've liked every one of the Country Coaches I've seen and that you've presented Andrew. Clearly a passion for their product that appears timeless. The same way a famous musician will talk about a particular song and/or, body of work something like 30-40 years later. They certainly did not end up closing their doors for lack of trying or for taking anything for granted. Quality folks. Andrew, you had to love the good-natured little rib about the painted wood! 🤣🤣🤣
I personally really like the maple-look. This coach looks very modern to me. I love how they used the dark countertops to highlight everything. It really pops. I would definitely have those countertops refinished or replaced with a similar dark granite or whatever.
Good afternoon Andrew good to see a new video..🚐💨 WOW🤯 Andrew when y'all went through the 🛤🚐 It was like going through butter...The best of the best..😊
Are there any other coaches that you know of that have a monocoque chassis beside Country Coach, Prevost and Newell? We are looking to be in the market in about a year and if we don't have the money for an older Prevost then Country Coach looks like the coach to get.
I just notiiced something i've not seen before and maybe you can explain in another video. This Magna has a pleated expansion curtain on the inner side of the slide room that keeps the wet sidewall of the slide from damaging the inside of the coach. I have not seen ANY other coach have this. THIS SHOULD BE IN A VIDEO ANDREW!! CHEERS Steve h.

i saw a cc once that had a triple bunk option. extremely rare I am guessing
Hi Andrew, How do they get those huge refrigerators into the coaches? Do you take the slides off?
I believe they remove a slide - I kind of remember andrew asking in another video, but I could be wrong...
In another video they said they remove the windshield and slide it in that way.
