      Thanks man, he really did. He is always willing to come help if he can. That day would have been very difficult without him, so I was glad he came for sure. ✌

    First time I’ve seen this wall block. LUV it. I have a large wall I need to install in front of a retention pond and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Well done. Looking sharp.

      Nice, great use for it! It is however much more expensive than regular block. But a good thing is the block itself is also the cap, so that can save some money too. ✌

    Crankin out the videos! Travis lifting with his back and all I'm thinking is that the first time he tweaks it 25 years from now it he's going to be like "oohhh that's why they say not to do that" To be young again 😆

    The long blocks weigh 200 lbs each. These blocks are available here in WA state, but we can't get your favorite, Techo-bloc Semma, double sided wall blocks for some reason.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  4 месяца назад

      Thanks for that info man, they certainly feel like that much...LOL And that is weird you can't get Techo Bloc Semma over there, they are a pretty big company but I guess they are not everywhere.

    Great vids. Just a question not to do with this video though. Have you ever done any patios or fire pit areas where pea gravel is used instead of pavers?. If so, I will search your videos for them. I figure I’d ask first because you have a ton of videos.

    • @TheChristianHardscaper

      Thank you, I have one playlist of videos where we built a circular boulder firepit area with pea stone in the middle for the sitting area. Here is the link to that playlist 👉 ruclips.net/p/PLo6xdtKoDxWbLQOQ51kjaryC1pjPVoZAy

    Great work! Just wanted to know why the wall has a 1/8th pitch? And not completely level. Is it to match the level of the asphalt?

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  4 месяца назад +1

      Thank you! Depending on the grades and circumstances, we will slope the wall. In this case it was because the driveway like you said and also the front yard slopes away from the house quickly... So sloping the wall helps take away from the need of another row block. Most walls are built level side to side but sloping them is completely fine if it helps with your projects circumstances. ✌

    Do you need to put down the landscaping fabric for retaining walls?

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  4 месяца назад +1

      In my opinion, absolutely. If not, all the soil will slowly migrate into the clean drainage stone.
