Amazing video mate. I'm glad that old Matiz/Spark doesn't have a weird ISO wiring, like most of modern cars. Yes, MANY modern cars have a "criminal" ISO connector, which looks like standard ISO, but if you plug it into your new nice shiny aftermarket radio, it bricks the radio immediately. You can throw it away, because the bastards (from the car industry) usually switch the power polarity on the connector, to burn any device that is not original. You usually have to buy a special connector harness in order to connect an aftermarket radio without destroying it. Glad to see that Matiz didn't implement that dirty trick (at least not the 2005 model).
Great and very helpful video. I have the following problem: The radio seems to work, can be amplified, play a disc, etc., but no sound comes out. Earlier, sometimes there was sound, sometimes not. Now there isn't. I opened it up and all the cables are plugged in and seem fine. I replaced all the fuses that are responsible for the radio, but no change. Any idea what can be done?
Is yours is the version with speakers in the doors then it’s possible either the damp has got to the speakers or where the cable passes through the rubber grommets near the door hinges may of snapped(common problem)
I've followed your guide and was really easy but now when i listen to radio it goes off when i put my lights original wires fit into my sterep can you help
Great, unfortunately my Matiz didn't come with a radio (basic trim) could i borrow your VIN in order to buy those brackets yours has ? Thanks in advance
Hi, can you tell me if it's the same for a Daewoo Matiz from 2001? I'm planning on doing this soon but i can't find anything for doing this on a 2001 model.

How did you beat the two little metal bits on the side panels? I’ve tried knocking them out with screws but can’t get them to come out!
Steam roller does the job.

No, this is different from the '01 model. As you can see the instrument cluster is in front of the dashboard.
Is it possible to install a infotaiment system (computer board) in the middle ?
Anything is possible but it would not be easy.
Can I put a double din radio in a Chevrolet matiz
