Great video. Why do attorney's always specify at hearing level? Why can't you all be optimistic at reconsideration level? I obtained a lawyer at recon level, it seems the longer the case is denied, the more the attorney is paid correct?
When someone on SSI or SSDI reaches full retirement age based on their critieria, SSI and SSDI bennifits change to retirement bennifits. There free medical is no longer freee.
@@rickovery Medicare for those that retire cost 104.00 a month. And only pay a 20/80 split, we pay the 20 plus the 104 a month. If your married and both are reired it's 104 each.
@@wmgthilgen No, it actually costs $ 144.60 a month. That is what I pay. Per Medicare.gov website: "The standard Part B premium amount in 2020 is $144.60. Most people pay the standard Part B premium amount."
I've never heard that Medicare begins at your disability onset date???? It's always explained that Medicare kicks in 2 years after your disability benefits have begun.......
Yes, they start from your disability onset date. I recieved Medicare two months after I was approved because my onset date was almost two years before I was approved.
Do I file my taxes tonight on my social security disability back pay it was less than my monthly checks now thank you for your time I hope you see this thank you
If you do not make more than $25,000 a year and file as an individual or your household income is less than $32,000 per year and you file jointly, you will not have to pay taxes on your Social Security Disability benefits. If your income exceeds those limits, a portion of your disability payments may indeed be taxable.
Great answers.....BUT....How long long does it take for the check take to come ib the mail after you get a full favorable decision? and Im crazy for checkibg the website every day for an answer or should ainve checking the mail first? which is going to be faster?
After you receive your physical copy of the favorable decision, it could take 2-3 months to receive your check. First you receive a Notice of Award explaining the amount of your monthly benefit and total back pay. That should take about 6-8 weeks. About 4-6 weeks after that you should get your back pay check. Checking the website is going to the be the best way to check status updates. - Antonio Bruni

Why are these videos always based on seeing a judge? What if you’re approved the first time?
this is best answer to my situation. I've been accepted, but my disability has been since birth. i have a much clearer idea of how I will manage.
