    Sean dyche will always be a legend at burnley. He prioritised developing the infrastructure of the club and thats laid the foundations for the success vincent kompany has had this season along with some excellent scouting in mainland Europe. The new owners have to be given credit as Americans that we given a bad name straight away with loading the club with debt in order to acquire it. The new chairman relocated his family from the states and has redeveloped Turf moor and they are at every home and away games taking photos with fans etc and thst cannot be ignored. Dyche was seen as a bit of a burnley miracle and the hope was that he could keep the team up with very little funding which obviously led to the situation he ended up in.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and with hindsight it was becoming a little stale. Not all changes have been for the better. These new owners are in it for the money not the fans. This is the 60th season since my first season ticket and my wife and I have never been treated as badly as we have since they took over, as my wife has become disabled. The Supporter Liaison Department has been overhauled and no longer works. The club's complaints procedure does not work. I love the football we're playing now but will Kompany have the staying power that Dyche had ? I'll reserve judgement until we see how many seasons he can keep us in the Premier League or how long he stays with us.

Not sure what you mean by staying power unless you revering to the time we will stay in the Premier League. Good luck to Sean Dyche at Everton, an honest straightforward man. Similar situation at Burnley to when we had Mick McCarthy at Wolves. Created a siege mentality, a togetherness in the dressing room, but that can only take you so far. Players will run through brick walls for a year or two but reach a level and can't go beyond that, age and injuries kick in. Replacing or trying to upgrade that sort of player becomes difficult.

      @united6997 Im showing No bias, city 5 out of 7 is amazing, but the elite competition, hence the title is the champions league, if you compare net spend, citys is about 15 billion whilst pep is in charge, liverpool soent about a 5th of that, compare the spends, and then compare success in the league, city have dominated but liverpool have still won it and run them close most years. Compare them in CL, there isnt even a contest, liverpool 3 out of the last 5 CL finals, on a fraction of the money to spend, the CL being called the champions league for a reason. So non biased apart, city are a great team, but money spent etc not winning or even going close to winning the CL in last 10 years is a complete failure. Business wise its terrible, they broke every rule in the ffp book and still cant be half as competitive as liverpool in the CL in last 10 years

    Did great at Burnley over the 10 years, and for that i thank mr dyche for all he did for our wonderful football club.
    However the downfall and lack of the old Burnley way of doing things under him, that had given us success was well over long before the new owners came in.
    In a matter of words things went stale and ill be honest as a season ticket holder i was bored out my pants with what i was seeing . I wasn't being entertained and that is a must and welcomed the change last season.
    Great interview and big respect for mr dyche talking out but I disagree with him because things can be done all at once and that was with relegation.. point proved cause these relatively new owners in the space of 12 months along with kompany appointment and his management staff as been great on all accounts...Unbelievable to watch on the pitch, ground as been transformed and the structure and finances look healthy to .
    Can't stand Everton tbh..
    a badly managed club and even got away with some financial wrong doings to it seems last time out..and a avoid relegation nearly every year..so get them relegated dyche and job done. Dyche said ironically
    last season when we beat them, 'everton didn't know how to win away from home'..

      He has been painted by tabloid media as "old school" from the start - probably because of the style of play so to a casual observer, that's how he appears. As a Burnley fan, when we first hired him, I read articles about his approach to man management, psychology, team building that made him sound very modern and they have been evident ever since in his approach if you look beyond the sun, match of the day and vloggers.

    He was rolling about with weghorst on training pitch apparently stuck the nut on one of the other strikers when he tried to break it up

    This is why i dont like Dyche, yeah he kept us up for a huge amount of years but he had to go. He couldnt train with different formations, he never asked players to do different roles, he was very old school thinking. VK is not afraid to change things around, simple as that, doesnt matter who is the chairman. If the players cant understand what you want from them you get relegated.

    • @richardmesser388
      @richardmesser388 Год назад

      Also, he is going on about 1 or 2 players he brought in. He should have built a team that understood his thinking and he should have been open to change things around, even middle of a game. Also the youth in the club never got a chance, even though he said he was open to bring youth into the team. VK gives them a chance. Burnley are far and away better off for being without Dyche, and being relegated cause it gave us the chance to rebuild with a better squad, and our youth are now alot better for it to

    Amazing he accept the praise when it's going right but not the blame when it's going wrong. He had the money and good under 21 side which he ignored. His tactics since 2015 were stone age and he ignored the younger players. Burnley were voted the best run club in Europe 5 years on the trot, while Dyche wanted £80 million to spend he was offered £33 to 35 million? He then had a tantrum threw his toys out of the pram, gave a sickening interview to the 4 4 2 magazine. Incidentally we needed investment not a buy out certainly not a immoral leveraged buyout a la the Glaziers and Manchester United .one day we had £42 million in our bank account the next day we were bought by ALK and had £180 million debt, which astoundingly including our own £42 million lent ALK to purchase the club.
