      An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 struck Naples on the morning of Wednesday, September 27, 2023. It was the strongest jolt experienced by the volcanic area, known as the Campi Flegrei or Phlegraean Fields, in more than four decades. The name of the area originates from the Greek word for "burning fields."
      It is one of many, but the strongest of the small earthquakes that has rocked the region recently. Both experts and the public fear these tremors could cause a "super volcano" to erupt and force people into mass evacuation. Many residents in the region have already prepared an emergency bag in case the need arises for a sudden evacuation.
      What is the Campi Flegrei?
      The Campi Flegrei is a depressed volcanic area, formed as a result of repeated explosive eruptions. One of them, an outburst 40,000 years ago, was one of the most powerful catastrophes in the world, affecting global climate. This might have led to the extinction of the Neanderthal, some researchers say. Magma from that blast has been found in Greenland, some 4,500 km (2,796 miles) away. Most recently, the Campi Flegrei saw an eruption in 1538.
      Campi Flegrei is home to a much bigger volcano than Vesuvius ― it's dubbed a 'super volcano' by many. Sometimes the volcano is called the "next Vesuvius," as it is unlikely to get its own name until it actually erupts. While experts have not spotted a volcanic cone in the ground through which lava would flow out, if the volcano erupts with full power, it could kill millions and destroy entire towns.
      maybe it's a giant pizza lava stone oven for kilometer wide pizzas for god ? giant lava pizza oven ?

    Having faith, family and community are what make you happy. A sense of purpose and accomplishment is a must. Just moving to another country won’t give you that.

    Thanks for your down to earth approach to educating people on living abroad. I appreciate someone that is out there actually telling the truth! I've lived overseas for many, many years, but I love my USA and think I will live here forever. Foreign vacation trips? Sure! But the US has so many advantages that cannot be beat. Keep up the great videos! Thank you for what you do.

      Thank you for your kind words. glad you are enjoying the videos and actually seeing the reality. It's hard for some people to admit but we're a witness to it. meaning we've seen them come and go. However, there are small percentage that live abroad for decades but most people don't. Thanks for watching and sharing. Take care.

    Dear Americans, - just to let you know, the "difference" between the EU and the US is that both think they are "smarter" and better than the rest of the world population... they(,we) are everything but that!
    People from our 2 continents keep thinking that, no matter what they come up with, they will succeed.... These days are over - 100% over!
    Americans will also want to know many Europeans also leave now... We leave our very old continent, and not because we believe it better elsewhere but, because our Continent is OLD - many places are complete warn out here yet, our self declared "elite" who are everything but, keep acting as if we were the "happiest" in the world, the "richest", the "best" etc - and, with "leaders" more corrupt than I ever thought I should experience in my life.. hence, please think twice (many times) before moving here and think, every think will be fat and wealthy... It's everything but.. Justook a bit back in the European History and, you'll be able to see the copy (Our History is NOT repeating itself - it's being coped 100%)....The majority of Americans will know. European History is everything but happy but, if this is what you want - please take it... I for my part, will é out of here next year and, for good!!
    I am 100% sure my ext country isn't perfect, it will not make me rich in money but, the people of this country are loveable and, that to me, means the world!!
    Thanks Frank and Angie.. From I who also love Italy but, hope I'll never have to come back to Europe when I leave next year.. 😊
    It's almost weekend... Enjoy 🤗

    You hit a big one that most people dont understand about Italy: the language. In general Italians don't speak English but why should they? You would be in THEIR country. So boom, you shouldn't move to another country with the intention on staying long term without learning the language. On top of that, Italian is the national language. The different regions have their own languages, too.

    • @HMFamilyLife
      @HMFamilyLife  3 месяца назад +1

      Exactly! And that goes for wherever you move in the world. We just don't see how people can get along in countries where very little English is spoken? How do they interact, make friends and feel connected if they can't speak the language? thanks for sharing. Take care.

      Give it a few years, the pattern is starting right now of the revolving door. By the end of the year the local Italians will start complaining about the higher prices, too many Airbnb's taking over "name your town" and rude foreigners. Portugal all over again, just a different country. Just watch...lol! Thanks for watching and sharing! Take care.
