and your area is worth millions. being in deep nature is 99% of the cost of the house's worth. so basically you're house is almost free cause you get the thick dense nature which is the most important living surroundings and natural energy shelter for humans

This reminds me of the time I discovered a never used extra bathroom in my house was invaded by carpenter ants (in the wood). I found a simple home remedy online that worked beautifully! I don't use toxic chemicals--either in my house, or my yard. As a result--my yard is a safe haven for pollinators 😄 90F???? Oh my gosh can you guys survive? Lol! We are over 100F everyday here during summer. I wish it would only get to 90F. Sheesh..... Great video...I enjoy seeing how you solve those problems. You are going to have a nice little home there when all is said and done. Blessings from Texas ♥

Ya the most basic things are not available in Ecuador like tarps. I was going to go camping using a tarp as the tents were way over priced and flimsy. Well, they don't have plasticized tarps there. No camping for me! They didn't have heavy duty poly either but found a use for the polytype they had which was a 3-4 foot diameter tube they sold which I used to store water on top of a mountain where they kept turning the water off for weeks. Used it as a bladder which I stored water in cause having to carry water up a steep mountain stone stairway is back breaking. Termites are.difficult to deal with but you seem to be doing OK. I would take a screw driver and check all your load bearing beams, walls, and roof structure to see how far they spread. Just try to push the screw driver into the beam, and if you succeed you may have to add new beams along side the termited ones or rip them out which is a lot of work and bother, plus it is expensive. Rotted floor joists can lead to falls and subsequent injuries.

Did you get a house inspection that indicated termites were there? Termites can destroy the structure of a house.
