Im 62. My wife and I have been remodeling our house here in Tennessee for about 5 yrs. We took an older home that was built on a steep bank and have added terraces for gardening. The fresh food and fermented veges gives us a lot of comfort. I wish the best back here in the states. I find our house to be all that I need as we let the world go by without us.

Happy to hear you're doing well in the US! As you know, I'm still looking forward to move abroad (almost counting days by now) ... Not, because it's cheaper but, simply because this is what I want and, always wanted and, to be honest, the research on the sad old place in which I was born, have turned out so full of lies, it will be more than a relief to get even further away from there and, think of it the positive way, you'll have someone (more) to visit in the Andes. 🤗 Thanks for sharing, be careful with all this physical work of yours Frank and, enjoy your Sunday! Remember, I've lived abroad for 25 years by now hence, my next - and probably last move - to a different country is just what it is: My laptop and I moving to our final destination and, away from old sour Europe.. If I should end up regretting, I do have a European country in place... but none of my existing Northern European places... The Azores are so lovely and, so are their people so, I'll keep these wonderful. Islands as an opportunity... Some Irish people arsc100%convinced, I'll miss Ireland and Europe so much, I'll come running home to Ireland... Maybe some of these Irish people actually like me - who knows 🤗 They can visit me can they... I know they will hence, I think this is settled, 😊
I was just wondering what state your property is in. The scenery is breathtaking! We traveled 3yrs just around the US till we decided we wanted a home base. We wanted a place we could pay for in cash & a warm climate. We ended up in southern Mississippi. We love it & have some great views, but nothing like this.
Yes, we have a nice comfy, private yard with fantastic views! We didn't know the house had such great views when we bought it and were pleasantly surprised. Thank you for watching! Take care,
