None of these worked for me either. Even after spending almost two hours with Microsoft Support Tech checking every single thing in my HP PC. Pretty frustrating that not even Microsoft has a solution to this problem...

Either the "Repair" or "Reset" option worked but not until I rebooted. After pressing Repair and Reset at first, Windows Security still wouldn't open. After reboot, it worked 👍
I suggest rebooting after trying each solution.

I am not sure which solutions worked for me but I did try solutions 1, 3, 4. At first, neither of the solutions worked but after I restarted my laptop somehow it worked!!! Thank you for the solutions :D

Not sure which solution worked (followed each step besides the pc reset) - nothing was happening until i decided to restart the computer. After restarting windows security started operating again. Thanks for the vid!

none of these worked. funny thing is the problem only occurred AFTER resetting windows with a full clean of the hard drive. thanks bill gates, you're a real piece of something.

None of these worked for me, my machine was almost perfect apart from a failing update. Install in place they said, now security doesn't work, nor do many other things.
Win 11 Pro is the most pedantic unreliable poorly designed OS I've installed in 25 years of pro builds !
