Although I like "Tombstone" and "Wyatt Earp" very much, there wasn't a lot of character development for Johnny Ringo in "Wyatt Earp." On the other hand, Tombstone's Johnny Ringo was stellar, a huge part of the film. The educated and volatile gunfighter. He didn't shoot the Catholic Priest out of a lack of belief in God. He did it to taunt and challenge God. Even Curly Bill flinched when he saw that. What a great performance..!

I'm almost 77 years old and Tombstone is my favorite western of all time. It's just fantastic. All the actors were excellent. Overall I think Val Kilmer was the best playing Doc Holiday. John Wayne's last western The Shootest was right up there also.

1993 literally feels like a lifetime ago, and is difficult to stomach that it is closing in on 30 years ago.

Doc stayed at a local motel here in Idaho Springs, CO where I live in ,1881, called the Lodge, room#8. A buddy of mine had this room for 2 yrs. Old gold mining town bout 30 mi from Denver. Heck of a job of acting here, and ALL the cast is perfect and superb.

Time Stone is my # 1 best cowboy movies. I loved all the actors and actresses . They all played very professional and were very very good. Almost as if the show was the ( real ) thing bsvk in the 1800's.👍

This scene is so relevant in today’s society of police shootings. I’m not implying or suggesting that all of them were justified or not, but this demonstrates that at least some of them are, and enemies of society are not above using these tragedies for political gain.

    • @doriangray2020

You pretty much are saying the are justified. Also, lots of police use their shootings for political gain as well. You are a hate-filled hypocrite. May God soon deal with you accordingly.
