Is the trigger/fire control group in the AR style Aero lower an AR spec hammer, or an MCX hammer? I ask as I’ve heard many/most AR spec hammers may not function with the MCX LT carrier and firing pin.
@@stubbz71 I have the Geissele Ssa-e trigger in it. Shot about 15 rounds fine, now my hammer won’t push down and lock behind the trigger latch even with the upper off the lower. Not sure if something got stuck down behind there or what. Haven’t had time to look into it more. I thought it would work with any milspec lower. If not I’ll be pretty annoyed and have to buy the mcx trigger.
@@moderngunguy3666 I didn’t like how pws was a long stroke piston, more mass reciprocating, also didn’t like the picatinny sections at the end of the hand guard. Not a big deal, but it’s also 9.75”. Longer than this. The 3 adjustable gas positions is nice. I’m sure it’s a good rifle. I was looking for compactness for this build, wanted something small since I already have an 11.5 5.56. Cool factor is higher on this or the badger but honestly don’t really care about something being cool, I try to focus on function, use case and practicality.
@@GearAndGuns it's actually only 1 in longer it's 7.75 in. But yeah everything else just depends on what you're looking for. But probably has one of the smoothest actions you're going to find, and the main point was it's just a better rifle overall.. But yeah clearly not what you were looking for. For me if a rifle doesn't have any kind of cool factor than I ain't even looking at it lol I treat my guns like my ladies looks come first You don't get in just because of your looks but that's how you get your foot in the door lol 🤣

I’m sure it’s a solid gun. I understand what you mean. Looks are a bonus but I personally don’t put them first.

If I did it all again and had more money, I probably would’ve just bought the entire rattler gun instead of doing the conversion kit. This isn’t a bad option, I’d just like to have the whole sig firearm.
@@smokeyray5017 As long as you do not have a rifle stock attached to the buffer tube or receiver, or a vertical foregrip attached to the hand guard, it is considered a pistol to the atf.

@@smokeyray5017 It only needs to be SBRed if you want to install a stock on it. You can install a pistol brace on it without having to sbr it (file a form 1).
@@lakeforkmafia Use what specifically? They have 2 different conversion kits. The 300 blackout and 7.62 x 39. The magazines for the x39 are different so I don’t think they would be compatible. The round is slightly longer. Usually the lower receiver is a little different, but you could ask sig. I don’t fully understand your question sorry. Are you saying use this 300 blackout upper on a x39 mcx lower?

Called sig and they said pretty much all milspec triggers will work with the LT line.
The PWS is going to be a better rifle but the cool factor of this one is a little higher

You may have already answered this but if my lower is currently on a rifle can it be turned into a pistol with the arm brace with no problems with ATF

With the adapter kit you cannot use the collapsible stock anyways

It’s not the adapter that’s the problem, but the milspec lower has that ring made for screwing on the buffer tube is what causes the issue.

Where'd you get the torque spec for the stock adapter? I called Sig and all I got was to turn it 1/8 to 1/4 pass thight.
