    Wait, so your bed gun is a benelli m4? Glad you picked up the sig 😅 the recoil system looks like my dissen’s recoil system. Dissent is also front charging w/ adjustable gas. I chose cmmg over sig.

    • @GearAndGuns
      @GearAndGuns  2 месяца назад

      @@wood-wheel-wizard Yeah it was one of them. Put my 11.5 in place of it for now until I get this build done. Forgot about the dissent. That’s a solid option. I didn’t like the built in hand stop or the side charging. How’s it working for you?

  • @stubbz71

    Is the trigger/fire control group in the AR style Aero lower an AR spec hammer, or an MCX hammer?
    I ask as I’ve heard many/most AR spec hammers may not function with the MCX LT carrier and firing pin.

    • @GearAndGuns
      @GearAndGuns  2 месяца назад +1

      @@stubbz71 I have the Geissele Ssa-e trigger in it. Shot about 15 rounds fine, now my hammer won’t push down and lock behind the trigger latch even with the upper off the lower. Not sure if something got stuck down behind there or what. Haven’t had time to look into it more. I thought it would work with any milspec lower. If not I’ll be pretty annoyed and have to buy the mcx trigger.

    The PWS is going to be a better rifle but the cool factor of this one is a little higher

    • @GearAndGuns
      @GearAndGuns  2 месяца назад

      @@moderngunguy3666 I didn’t like how pws was a long stroke piston, more mass reciprocating, also didn’t like the picatinny sections at the end of the hand guard. Not a big deal, but it’s also 9.75”. Longer than this. The 3 adjustable gas positions is nice. I’m sure it’s a good rifle. I was looking for compactness for this build, wanted something small since I already have an 11.5 5.56. Cool factor is higher on this or the badger but honestly don’t really care about something being cool, I try to focus on function, use case and practicality.

      @@GearAndGuns it's actually only 1 in longer it's 7.75 in. But yeah everything else just depends on what you're looking for. But probably has one of the smoothest actions you're going to find, and the main point was it's just a better rifle overall.. But yeah clearly not what you were looking for. For me if a rifle doesn't have any kind of cool factor than I ain't even looking at it lol I treat my guns like my ladies looks come first You don't get in just because of your looks but that's how you get your foot in the door lol 🤣

If I did it all again and had more money, I probably would’ve just bought the entire rattler gun instead of doing the conversion kit.
