@@StackinGreene I haven't shot the honey badger, but it is lighter than the MCX LTs. I prefer the Sig bufferless system, which is currently the most reliable on the market.
As someone who have fired a Glock 19, a 1911, and an AR-15, I think the Sig Sauer guns of today is a rather interesting platform. As the most known ones like the MCX, the MPX, and the P320 improve upon guns like the AR-15, the MP5, and the Glock respectively. And I think Sig deserves the attention (good attention) it's been getting with various media such as it becoming the go-to arms provider of the U.S. military and video games. In this book I'm writing that's a post-apocalypse fantasy action story, Sig Sauer is front and center with the main characters. By that, I mean the main characters use Sig Sauer guns since it is so widely used in their homeland Calivada. The leader and the lancer of the story are an Army Ranger male and an FBI female use a Sig MCX Virtus and a Sig MPX respectively and Sig P320s as their sidearms. I was considering using M4s, MP5s, and Glock pistols but we've already seen those before time and time again and because we're living in an age where they're slowly being replaced with something new and improved, that's when I decided to use Sig Sauer guns. Especially since the military and police in their world use modern Sig Sauer guns. Heck even the criminal gangsters in their world use Sig Sauer firearms though that's particularly with the P320 since it's that world's version of the Glock. As far as the Spear is concerned, that gun is also featured in the story but it's used more as a battle rifle and it's chambered in .308/7.62x51. But yeah the fantastical elements come from several other supporting characters. Particularly with the big guy and smart girl of the team that consist of an Viking raider and an Elf sorceress as the supporting crew of the team. The Army Ranger and the FBI Agent are kinda sorta at odds with the Raider and the Sorceress however they are mediated by a teenage computer hacker who is quite the enthusiast with Dungeons and Dragons. Basically he (the teenager) will do whatever he must to keep the group together since he gets along with all of them even though they don't necessarily get along with each other. All in all, I like the overall look and design of the Sig Sauer guns of today. And not only do I feature them in my storybook I'm writing but I also have them as mods in Fallout 4. In fact, Fallout 4 and Skyrim are the video games I play with mods to create physical representations of the characters I've talked about on here.
I just purchased a 762x39 virtus from a sig professional program dealer because of my security credentials. When I talked to sig he said they only made those guns available to LE in that chambering. Also what rail covers are you using? Sick build by the way!
I have the Sig MCX Spear in 7.62x51. I set it up as a battle rifle; Elcan Spectre DR 1.5-6X, Cloud Defensive Rein 3.0, Strike Industries angled grip. I want to change it to a DMR since my Scar is my main battle rifle. Waiting for Sig to release the .277 fury barrel and bolt carrier.
I have the Spear LT 9” 300blk still have to take it out and run it but I love the controls and the feel of the gun. I would like to remove the muzzle device and Use a Huxwrx flow 7.62 on it for less back pressure and because finding the sig suppressors right now is almost impossible 😂
Try to avoid using those reduced back pressure cans with 300 subs. Manufacturers can't really tune a super short rifle to cycle weak subs(~45acp) without making it beat itself apart on hot supers(~7.62x39) suppressed. MCX without a suppressed setting is annoying since its normal setting is tuned for fighting. You kind of have to run low backpressure can on those to tame the carrier velocity and reduce gas to the face. Bren2 and LMT piston AR are very good in that regard. If you like a good piston AR, try LMT 12'' piston, It handles full power 5.56 suppressed with a traditional baffled can better than almost anything else.
@@mudgunner 👌I would say go ahead. I find an LMT 12" piston SBR with Super42 H2 shoots smoother(~3:30 ejection) and has a bit less muzzle rise than an HBI upgraded Bren2 11" SBR(~2 o'clock). Using the Sandman K 5.56 FH cap, same 5.56 ammo, both on the suppressed setting, both have FH muzzle. Granted, Bren2 is pretty light so...
for 556 gas blocks they arent suppressed/unsuppressed settings they are normal (-) and adverse (+) settings. for 300 blk it does have a suppressed (+) subsonic and unsuppressed/suppressed supers (-) which was confusing at first. it's buried in the manual
Do you know if the MCX 762 nato same as the 308? I see everyone in youtube shooting 308. Also, which one would you prefer 13in or 16in for long shooting 762Nato?
Is it a Rattler LT lower because if so, I'm not sure. If you just have a standard Rattler than yes it will. I haven't played with any of the new MCX LT guns so I'm not sure what's compatible on them
Can we say: Piston is better than Direct Impingement? Non-reciprocating is better than reciprocating? 7.62 is better than 5.56? Side charging is better than rear charging handle?
k̄hxng tktæ̀ng modify h̄rụ̄x pel̀ā Hello, I'm watching you from Thailand. The sig sauer mcx 5.5 " is a gun that people can own. It is considered a very short gun. According to Thai regulations, the barrel length cannot exceed 6.3 inches. I would also like to know to what extent a gun of this size can be modified. Please make video clips with this type of gun often. In Thailand it's starting to become popular, but the only disadvantage is that it's short-lived. Are there any decorations to modify? In Thailand, you can only own long-barreled guns like this. Thank you very much.😊😊😊😊
I have the Rattler LT 6.75" in .300 and the Spear LT 11.5" in 5.56. They are some of the best rifles available in the market today.
I do really like them!
Would you take these over the honey badger

Never knew Sig runs different from AR15. Thanks for the educational video. 👍🏼

I have the SIG Qd 772 can on my OG Rattler so no extended handguard for me
First of all I'm glad the comments are functioning, now I will watch.

Og rattler with full length hop rod is where it's at
The rattler is sweet!

Does the shop have either of these in stock?
We have the Spear 5.56 Rife and can order most of the newer gen 3 MCX’s
I have a rattler, virtus, snakebite and spear LT. I do like the spear alot but there really is nothing lite about.
The spear is on my list to get at some point!
Great video

Bro can you do a video regarding rifle “pistols”
I did one recently
The virtus replaced the mcx patrol aka "black mamba"
Can I buy an MCX 9” or 11” 556 upper for my Gen 2 rattler?
Will it fit?

How can I get an MCX virtus lower?
They’re out there on auction sites but they’re pricey
what ammo you recommend beside s&b ?
I’ve been using Hornady, Sig, Ammo Inc, and Remington subs with no issues so far
Have a rattler and 11.5 virtus same as you

How many inches is the suppressor on the mcx rattler?
Q Half Nelson 6.85"
@@mudgunner thanks!! Mrs!
The Danish Police's new rifle - replaces the MP5
That's sweet!
