Batman: You don’t get it son....This isn’t a mud hole ..it’s an operating table...and I’m the surgeon. Don: You know something...I don’t think Batman ever went to medical school. Gang member: Shhhh
Some of the lines Batman has in this movie are so iconic and epitomise the essence of the dark knight like, "This isn't a mudhole; it's an operating table...and I'm the surgeon", and when addressing Superman after beating him down by using intelligence and force "I didn't have to go easy on you...I want you to remember that...in all the years to come, in your most private moments; I want you to remember the one man who beat you." There are plenty more that I could mention! I still don't feel any live action version or actor has been able to truly become the dark knight. The only one that came close was perhaps the dark knight trilogy in my opinion, but even that didn't fully give you that feeling that Batman is this supremely intelligent and highly trained martial artist that is formidable, unstoppable, inevitable and unable to be intimidated. Some sort of constant stalking shadow that never stops, cannot be overpowered and a source of terror. For me that's the true dark knight, and until a live action version portrays that and hones in that. I'll still prefer the animated versions. Edit: This scene from "Batman: Gotham Knight - The Dark Knight" also demonstrates what I mean... ruclips.net/video/-OG6oGiJwZI/видео.html&ab_channel=FlashbackFM
Just love how Batman beats his bigger opponent from slowing him down in mud, showing how he’s more skilled in combat, cut above his eyes to blur his vision, hit him more in his injured nose, chi blocked (lack for better word lol) his arm and finally broke 2 more limbs before beating his already malformed face to a pulp.
Love this scene, Batman nullified the Mutant Leader's speed advantage by hindering his movements in the mud, stopped trying to fight like a twenty-something in a drunk bar brawl instead of like a master of Martial Arts to prove some 'point' to himself, and let the Monster inside himself truly shine; he didn't need to cripple the guy for life, but he did and what's more, he enjoyed every second of it.

“Okay, son. Show me.”. Badass.
I love this scene
They did a great job having adapting this from the comic to film!
@@ianwinter90 Yeah they did
@@ianwinter90 in what movie ?
The voice of Peter Weller fits perfectly to this ald and savage version of Batman. I simply love it!!!!
“Your slow old man”
“We’re all slow when we’re thigh deep in mud, and your not too bright”
Best Batman comeback ever
Batman don’t shive…❤
And my favorite part is how the music builds after Batman says “it’s an operating table and I’m the surgeon”.😎😎😎
Favorite part 2:00 - 2:23, the way he destroys him with those body punches and front kick in the end is amazing. This whole fight is awesome
"You don't get it, son. This isn't a mudbowl, it's an operating table... and I'm the surgeon."
COLD ASF.
One of the best Batman fights in animation.
“Don’t ever jay-walk again”
One of the best fight scenes
Not just in the DC Universe
Not just in all animated works
But in all of the fight scenes ever made.
Dude won, then made sure he won enough for every fight in the future

"And you are not too bright" He should have stopped fighting him at that moment and go cry to corner :D
“Batman, nasty. He don’t shiv”
You know it’s over when Batman calls you son.
Batman wins and looks to the other Mutant members: "My first order of business as the new Mutant leader, someone find my cape."
So nice of Batman to supply the Mutant Leader with free healthcare.
BANE: “Okay, I can't breake him anymore! Imma heading out first!”
we need this in a live action Batman movie
Rob and Doms hoodies have me laughing to this day 🤣🤣🤣
One of my favorite animated fights.
Im all for flashy powers/martial arts and stuff. But nothing beats a a gritty, savage, bear knuckle beat down.
Exactly, I'm all for a flashy fight scene but when the *impacts* don't feel *impactful* like this, it 's more like a dance than a fight.
Zack snyder merely adapted the looks and asthetic of this Batman, but couldn't capture it's soul
Holy crap, thats the first kratos voice actor playing the leader
Love this scene, Batman nullified the Mutant Leader's speed advantage by hindering his movements in the mud, stopped trying to fight like a twenty-something in a drunk bar brawl instead of like a master of Martial Arts to prove some 'point' to himself, and let the Monster inside himself truly shine; he didn't need to cripple the guy for life, but he did and what's more, he enjoyed every second of it.
This fight is simple, yet the feels are so heavy. Ya get me?
3:05 coldest dialogue in the whole movie
It is shame that we lost the internal monologue from the comics.
