Which was your favorite eShop Game today, and what should I review next?? (I'm LIVE with my Podcast NOW - ruclips.net/user/live01KGSD0q5X4?feature=share) Your current browser is bad. Get a better one here: operagx.gg/BeatEmUps
Been watching BeatEmUps channel for years. Glad you two got to share a "10 new episode shop video review together." I'd like to see more cozy games less shovelware on the Switch. Grateful you two can help players like myself find the gems to play and avoid the duds all over the shop.
It’s the crossover I didn’t expect but am so happy to see. Also I love that he knows your name but says it wrong on purpose. Peak Australian nickname vibes 😂
This was most likely recorded before Tuesday's Direct but Castlevania Dominus Collection, Pizza Tower, Peglin, Pico Park 2, and Goat Simulator 3, [released] the day of, are all strong recommendations. Glad to hear about the CotL performance update as well
Thank Goodness You're Here is developed by Coal Supper, not the same devs as Untiltle Goose Game. It's published by the same publisher, Panic. I feel like someone probably commented this but I couldn't find it.
Northern Englander here! Will let you know as soon as we have our own Big Ben to visit 😂 however York and Manchester are worth a visit visit if you ever are up north. Bloody love thank goodness you're here ❤️
Please consider abandoning Opera as a sponsor. They have a history of making money in pretty nefarious ways (predatory lending in 3rd world countries for instance).
It is a digital storefront found on modern Nintendo video-gaming platforms that grant the user the ability to purchase games and install said games onto the user's Nintendo video-gaming platform. There are three separate Nintendo EShops that are connected only by name. One for Nintendo's current platform, the Nintendo Switch Eshop. One for Nintendo's previous handheld video-gaming platform, the 3DS Eshop. One for Nintendo's previous home console video-gaming platform, the WiiU Eshop.
This channel and Eownna are always my go-to channels. I'm always on the lookout for beatemups of Eownna video's. Maybe time for a collab @nontendo podcast? ;D
Rusted Moss brings back memories of my NES days, especially the classic Bionic Commando game. I’ve added it to my wish list and plan to grab it once it’s on sale.
After buying Castlevania Dominus Collection it was awesome to finally buy the classic Anniversary Collection.... for f'n $3.99! Now I have all 3 Castlevania Collecrions. 🔥 the Castelvania Advance Collection is hot too people. Pick it up if ur a fan. 👍
Yeah, browsing through endless $1.00 rpg titles get's me going. Opera GX is quite a good browser, you did not mention the music service tab on the left hand side. Love that feature.
This is awesome because i recently picked up a OLED switch for 150 with so many accessories and even a free 256 Nintendo mirco SD!! Can't wait to check out these games.
As always in these videos I cannot recommend Boomerang Fu enough. Best free demo on the eShop. I would pay so much money to watch you and Bob play together!!
Funny thing is I frequently am going the eshop and found Rusted Moss and got it because the idea of some chick swinging around in a trenchcoat and a gun just sounded hilarious 😂 I got for 5$ sooo that was nice the frequency of Eshop sales is crazy
What about the Atelier games such as: Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland, Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland plus a bunch of VN's that I don't see covered such as Clannad or Seabed.
Hey Wood great video I love these videos I’m almost always interested in something after watching. Hope you do another one of these videos soon. I have a few suggestions but I don’t know if you have already talk about them but here they are anyway #1 Soundfall #2 Afterimage #3 Boomerang Fu #4 Apple knight and #5 Kingdom rush. I hope this helps. Keep up the good work. Have a good week.
10:09 I appreciate a game that warns you ahead of time you need to take notes Makes me a little less anxious knowing yes, that feeling I need to write everything down IS validated for once
I've played cat quest 1 and 2 cuz they were free at one point in time and they're pretty good but a significant amount of the gameplay was similar enough to where i really don't feel like playing the third game since it'll most likely be the same gameplay, but at a different camera angle.
For those of you not from this side of the pond, London and "the north" of england couldnt be any less alike, very different vibes but props to wood for taking the effort to at least film while he was here.
OMG. I still need to get Lorelei and the Laser Eyes. Been eyeing that one since the first teaser. I love works from that developer (Simogo, I think). They always create such unique settings for their games ☺️
So glad to see some talk on Rusted Moss! I've had it saved on Steam for so long, but was holding out to see if/when it was coming to Switch! Thanks for talking on it! Also love Moonstone Island and Cult of the Lamb. Cheers to another Eshop Video!
This is probably the best of these videos because I have not wanted to play all 10 suggestions before until now. Thanks for the amazing high quality content dude!
I'm actually only interested in one (Rusted Moss), and two others I already have on my wishlist (Cat Quest 3 and Steamworld Heist 2). Kinda mid for me.
Great video! I don’t have any of the games on the list. Cult of the Lamb, Moonstone Island and Steamworld Heist look like a lot of fun. I recently bought Castlevania Dominus Collection after it shadow dropped. A great collection of amazing games!
One suggestion, Wood. Please repeat the title more than just at the introduction to the game. Instead of referring to a game as "it" over & over again, repetition repetition repetition will help us, your viewers, to remember the titles better.
I've enjoyed playing Moonstone island, but there are some performance issues I ran into: The Spirit Barn starts to have horrendous framerate problems before you've filled up a full room with spirits. My game froze several times when opening chests in my home, forcing me to either reset to my last save, or wait to pass out at the end of the day. This is especially a problem because later on you can (and probably will) craft potions that freeze time in your home - potentially forcing a reset. A few times a wild Spirit I encountered counted as a completely different spirit when turning in research (all of them became the same spirit, don't remember which one). I'm not sure, but this might be able to make completing the bestiary impossible if it happens to a boss spirit.
So glad to see the Moonstone Island shoutout. In the drought until we get a new pokemon game or until Stardew 1.6 comes to switch, this game is definately a great one to play. Already had me completely addicted to getting a full holo spirit barn.
I, Will-Billy, want to recommend Peglin. It's pretty much Peggle, but you play as a goblin fighting monsters and stuff. It's a rogue-like Peggle and it's really cool!
Thank you for doing this. I recently bought a “recommended” game from another RUclipsr and I was so disappointed by the game itself. They didn’t mention the poor game experience on the switch, which is a big factor. I know you’ll always be on that. We appreciate you! ❤
Natsu-Mon I can see why it would be popular. That carefree life as a kid, to regain that lost youth. A little escape for a few hours before we have to go back being an adult again.
there's the kage legend of the ninja, castlevania dominus collection, doinksoft and bitmap bureau games ( including compilation collection for physical copy)...
Istg if it wasnt for Wood's videos the only thing I would've buyed on the eShop would been PoKemon DLC, Doom 64 and Among Us, now I have a huge backlog of Indies I wanna try!!
The switch should've been the ultimate retro-handheld, and it would've been if they'd properly handled their NSO games, it's just sad what it is compared to what it could've been.

Cult of the lamb is my favorite one and I will consider getting it in the near future
Cat Quest 3 is SOOOO good. Seriously
Can you play The curse of the sea rats game.
Hi wood!
Good night knight has snuck it's way into my favourites recently
AHHH thank you so much for having me on this episode!!
Being a big fan of your content for SO long! ❤ it was really mind blowing how you two collabing hihi
2 favourite switch creators coming together, amazing
Been watching BeatEmUps channel for years. Glad you two got to share a "10 new episode shop video review together." I'd like to see more cozy games less shovelware on the Switch. Grateful you two can help players like myself find the gems to play and avoid the duds all over the shop.
Yay, 2 of my favorite Switch creators!!
It’s the crossover I didn’t expect but am so happy to see. Also I love that he knows your name but says it wrong on purpose. Peak Australian nickname vibes 😂
Thank you so much for featuring Rusted Moss! Very happy you stumbled on our game :D
That was the standout game on this list to me. It looks fun and up my alley and I've never heard of it, I'm very happy he featured it
Definitely going to check out your game, looks cool!
Thank you Wood, for navigating through all the Luigi content. That gets rid of a good 80% of the Eshop.
We should get a video with the best Luigi content ranking.
I'm so glad you got Eownna to cover a game here! Love this channel and hers! 😊😊
Did he really just say, "Oh no, not the king"
Wood and Eeowna in one video?!! LOVE IT!! You two are favorite gamers!!
This was most likely recorded before Tuesday's Direct but Castlevania Dominus Collection, Pizza Tower, Peglin, Pico Park 2, and Goat Simulator 3, [released] the day of, are all strong recommendations. Glad to hear about the CotL performance update as well
This is a REVIEW, which means he's recommending what he's played.... not games that haven't come out yet.
pizza tower was already ported a year ago haha
Thank Goodness You're Here is developed by Coal Supper, not the same devs as Untiltle Goose Game. It's published by the same publisher, Panic.
I feel like someone probably commented this but I couldn't find it.
Im so glad you covered rusted moss, I played that game when it came out and nobody ever talks about it
Northern Englander here!
That’s old news and its a completely different company now, even though its still not a great browser regardless
What is this eshop you speak of?
Yooooo congrats for the convention
It is a digital storefront found on modern Nintendo video-gaming platforms that grant the user the ability to purchase games and install said games onto the user's Nintendo video-gaming platform. Patiently waiting on the collab
Shut
😂
0:47 "the browser you're using is bad" jokes on you wood im already using Opera GX UH OH
I was about to comment the same thing lol. A bit ironic that the browser I already use , opera GX, is bad and I should get opera GX instead
Does the Gx version do that annoying noise after it updates and you launch it?
Really put me off the main version since I often use headphones.
@@RajaniIsa idk what noise youre talking abt, but it does make a noise after it relaunches but it doesnt get updates that often (that ive noticed)
When it first launches after it has gotten an update it would blare a sound like the old surround sound bit from the movies.
I’d like to believe Wood made that trip exclusively to record that section of the video
This channel and Eownna are always my go-to channels. I'm always on the lookout for beatemups of Eownna video's. Maybe time for a collab @nontendo podcast? ;D
It happened. 😊
3:16 I really like this reference to the joke, it's classily done in this video lol great job Wood
I'm so excited to get my hand on Cat Quest 3, but I'll be waiting a little longer for the Furtastic Trilogy to have all three games on one cartridge.
Honestly smart, while I loved cat quest 3 I did find 2 had more to it and therefore more worth it
I have 2 and might wait until complete it before getting 3 as not had it long.
I think it’s brilliant that he went to London when the game is set in the north of England the cultures are so distinctly different😂
not that different
Is Kim going to reopen her shop soon? I miss it.
I used to love ur videos during lockdown and now just watching any of ur switch related videos give me some of the greatest nostalgia
Rusted Moss is great, I even scored a physical copy of it
Rusted Moss brings back memories of my NES days, especially the classic Bionic Commando game.
I think about you naming it luigi content all the time. One the little thoughts that makes me giggle.
At the end of the switch’s life you should do a giant recap tier list video of all of the games in your top 10 eshop videos.
Love that you included Eeowna in this!! ❤
As always in these videos I cannot recommend Boomerang Fu enough. Best free demo on the eShop. I would pay so much money to watch you and Bob play together!!
Not having Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on this list is insane! Thousands of hours of content, plus its on sale
Funny thing is I frequently am going the eshop and found Rusted Moss and got it because the idea of some chick swinging around in a trenchcoat and a gun just sounded hilarious 😂 I got for 5$ sooo that was nice the frequency of Eshop sales is crazy
Rusted Moss kind of has a more serious Broforce vibe. Seems like a really fun game
What about the Atelier games such as: Atelier Rorona: The Alchemist of Arland, Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland,
Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland plus a bunch of VN's that I don't see covered such as Clannad or Seabed.
I've actually heard of rusted moss. Looks like a take on gunbrella which was also really good
Hey Wood great video I love these videos I’m almost always interested in something after watching. Hope you do another one of these videos soon. I have a few suggestions but I don’t know if you have already talk about them but here they are anyway #1 Soundfall #2 Afterimage #3 Boomerang Fu #4 Apple knight and #5 Kingdom rush. 10:09 I appreciate a game that warns you ahead of time you need to take notes
Makes me a little less anxious knowing yes, that feeling I need to write everything down IS validated for once
This treasure throve of games totally deserves a like. That last one, oof.
Yessss Eeowna ❤❤❤ also finally bought cult of the lamb because the bundle was on sale and that was cheaper than the standard game on its own!
I've played cat quest 1 and 2 cuz they were free at one point in time and they're pretty good but a significant amount of the gameplay was similar enough to where i really don't feel like playing the third game since it'll most likely be the same gameplay, but at a different camera angle.

I love that the SteamWorld Heist games, specifically, have soundtracks made by Steam Powered Giraffe, one of my favorite bands.
Wood and Iona is the crossover I didn’t know I needed and I’m so glad we got it 😍
Love Eeowna and already following her for my dose of cozy game content!
I haven't played part 2 or 3, but I enjoyed the original Cat Quest.
Great video! I don’t have any of the games on the list. Cult of the Lamb, Moonstone Island and Steamworld Heist look like a lot of fun. I recently bought Castlevania Dominus Collection after it shadow dropped. A great collection of amazing games!
This is amazing 🤩 Eeowna you and wood doing a collaboration ❤
I listen to other youtubers on games reviews, but it is Woods videos the ones that make me hit the buy button. Thanks Wood !
Don't sleep on Crypt Custodian. Charming Hyper Drift Lighter-like and I've been havign a blast.
W Eeowna collab!!
Love this episode as well as the whole series. Thank you for putting this together!
This is the kind of videos that keep telling us you love Nintendo more than everything else. The adorable kind of videos. ❤😊
One suggestion, Wood. Please repeat the title more than just at the introduction to the game. Instead of referring to a game as "it" over & over again, repetition repetition repetition will help us, your viewers, to remember the titles better.
fun fact: luigi content thats bad is called waluigi content
Cat Quest 1 and 2 were so fun.
If you are looking for more hidden gems, I recommend Melatonin, Will You Snail, Its a Wrap, and Super Dungeon Maker.
I've enjoyed playing Moonstone island, but there are some performance issues I ran into:
The Spirit Barn starts to have horrendous framerate problems before you've filled up a full room with spirits.

Thanks for letting people know!
"Oh no not the king too" is wild
This is one of my favorite series. Good game reviews! Love it!
Excellent video 😀👍
Bought and played Thank Goodness You're Here after seeing it on the list for this video, funniest game I've played in ages. 🤣
Actually I have heard of Rusted Moss coz I'm into metroidvanias.
I may buy Moonstone Island. Thanks!
You know it is actually funny you mentioned rusted moss, I played the demo for it on my PC a while back before it came out
So glad to see the Moonstone Island shoutout.
It's a rogue-like Peggle and it's really cool!
i feel like Cult Of The Lamb is more Binding of Isacc-ish
OMG my two favs coming together to maximize their joint slay
you're a criminal for not including pizza tower
7:25 Jaw on the floor, hand straight over my mouth, I'm GAGGED. OMG🤣
PIZZA TOWERRRR, is definitely worth it
try Pizza Tower man that game is so bizarre it's so good
Natsu-Mon is a cute game that I've been wanting to play. Reminds me of the Shin-Chan Switch games, experiencing summer as a child in Japan.
EEOWNA MENTIONED!!!!!!
Thank you for these videos! I love them and always find something new to buy
Thank you for doing this. I recently bought a “recommended” game from another RUclipsr and I was so disappointed by the game itself. They didn’t mention the poor game experience on the switch, which is a big factor. I know you’ll always be on that. We appreciate you! ❤
Cool ,, Rusted Moss looks fun and reminds me of Bionic Commando .
I love finding cool Indie games like this.
Thanks man .
Here for Eeowna.
My favorite type of videos you do. Do more!
Avowed’s prequel, Pillars of Eternity is on the eShop if you are having trouble finding AAA eShop for your next video. 😊
There's a Tyne bridge up north
Worth noting that Opera is a Chinese-owned entity
Istg if it wasnt for Wood's videos the only thing I would've buyed on the eShop would been PoKemon DLC, Doom 64 and Among Us, now I have a huge backlog of Indies I wanna try!!
"oh no, not the king too"LMAO BROTHER
My favorite today is Voltaire The Vegan Vampire 🖤💚🦇
Less than a month till echoes of wisdom who’s excited!!
Golden sun is such an underrated game with SO much potential
Love this episode. I want to try so many of these games!
I'm surprised wood doesn't use his own satisfy grip in his the video
IM SO HYPED FOR CAT QUEST 3
I did pre-order the Nintendo Lite and the new Zelda game that comes out with it.Are you getting that bundle?
Around 7:45 in the video my uncles game "Looped" is shown for a breif second!
I thought that was cool :)
Whilst it is a re release of a Steam game, Spark the Electric Jester 3 is easy recommend.
you had me at the Pokémon Emerald Theme
I knew Panic pack was gonna be here, it’s so good for its price!
The switch should've been the ultimate retro-handheld, and it would've been if they'd properly handled their NSO games, it's just sad what it is compared to what it could've been.
