    Great reaction!
    'That' is an actual castle, called Schloss Rothestein (or Rothestein castle) --->
    "One of the most beautiful neo-Gothic castles in Germany stands in the middle of a picturesque forest, above the Werra valley near Bad Sooden-Allendorf (North Hesse).
    From the castle terrace you can enjoy a fantastic view of the high Meißner. Known nationwide, the high Meißner is the legendary home of the fairy tale of Frau Holle.
    In the castle there is a wedding room (branch office of the registry office), where in cooperation with the municipality civil weddings are performed.
    Furthermore, there are two large festival halls (120 sqm and 100 sqm) as well as a large entrance hall (70 sqm) which can be used for events (weddings, birthdays, company events, conferences, meetings and seminars). Celebrations with up to 200 people are possible there.
    Rothestein Castle is also suitable as a popular photo and film backdrop and can be rented for this purpose on request. Due to its convenient location in the center of Germany, the castle is very easy to reach."

    Background insight:
    This song is a display of the Bromance between Nico (singer) and Kevin (shouter). The band is active since over 10 years or so, but Nico just joined them in 2020 after the previous singer had left and they immediately skyrocketed with this line up. The first song they published together was Hypa Hypa and it went viral over night and geined over a million clicks in no time. They literally woke up in the morning and were world famous. They brought their album called TEKKNO and had a gigantic world tour with sold out venues all over europe, north america and australia.
    Nico is just the perfect match to the band and also Kevin is finally able to shine because before he was pushed to the background a lot and imo he is the best metal vocalist when it comes to shouting techniques that europe has to offer. His range and variety is insane.
    You HAVE to check them out live because they are the best live band i have ever encountered.

    Their songs are influenced by the 2000s, 90s, and 80s.
    It's something between a parody and a homage of what they love. Eurodance, Gymculture, Bloodhound Gang, Boybands... The humor is on so many levels: Stupid and in your face, subverting expectations and there are always dancing monkeys in the background of the video that you can miss in a blink of an eye. In this video some people miss that it was Nico in the bed or that the bass and drums were in the fountain during the last sceene.

    • @vidrax_de
      @vidrax_de Месяц назад +1

      Kevin is only in the bed for getting up and starting his vocals with "And I'll never let you down". While Nico was singing it was indeed a woman lying in bed. Her name's Mirjam Piuk, she's listed in the credits.

  • @TheMikeLyons
    @TheMikeLyons Месяц назад +1

    A subtle bit of humor that a lot of people miss is that when they go outside the castle, David (drummer) and Daniel H (lead guitar) are standing in the fountain.
    And as other people said, thanks for laughing at the 'slide in' during the breakdown. It's one of my favorite bits.
    The video is by the Schillo brothers (Pascal, who is the other guitarist in the band) and his brother Oliver. They did the videos for Pump It, Hypa Hypa, We Got the Moves, Hate/Love, Tekkno Train, and a handful of others. They're SUPER clever and funny, and there's always a layer or two of humor that people miss the first time watching. Repeat views is HIGHLY recommended to ALL their songs.

Every Time we touch was originally written and recorded by Scottish singer Maggie Reilly in 1992 for her album Echoes. Love watching the first time fun experience again through your reactions. I feel "Hurrikan" should be your next of theirs, to bring you the same fun.

    Amazing song cover.
    The location is Rothestein castle in the middle of Germany - close to where I live and the landscape really is that beautiful.
    I vistied this place some times and it´s amazing.
    It´s a neogothic castle that was build in the late 1800´s.
    Nowadays you can book it for events, weddings and many more.

    Wonderful reaction! And you hit the nail on the head about EC triggering all the points of your senses - a perfectly blended smoothie of sound (and visuals). I'm excited to get to see them in Boston soon, I truly hope you get a chance to see them live as well! I hope you're checking out their BTS (behind the scenes) videos - they are fantastic!
    P.S. - I knew after watching how you reacted to the first gut-punch of this song, you were going to freakin' flip out on the bridge and final breakdown :D

    To be fair, Cascada also covered the song in 2025 - the original is by Maggie Reilly from the early 1990s

    Tekkno is the name of the album, but this song didn't make it. So they released it separately.
