Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on RUclips, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on RUclips. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on RUclips, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.

Wembley is blessed in a way no other venue is. The greatest live performances for MANY artists emerge from that stadium. Check out Bryan Adam's Wimbley performance of Heaven. It shook him to the core.

Freddie smashes this performance of this song, I love it. Written by Roger it was originally about Martin Luther King. While Roger was away on holiday, Freddie got hold of the song and changed a lot of the original lyrics. At one point while working through the lyrics, Freddie picked up a Chinese Take-Out Menu and used what was written on the menu as the lyrics for the song. That is why the song ends with Fried Chicken. Ironically as it turns out, Martin Luther King was once asked what his favorite food was and he replied Fried Chicken so whether or not Queen was aware of that at the time this was recorded I do not know.
Sorry, but you are confusing the story of "It's A Kind of Magic" with "One Vision". Roger wrote the melody and chords for "It's a Kind Of Magic" for the Highlander film, then Freddie wrote a new bass line, added some instrumental spacers, changed the order, and produced a new mix with David Richards. Roger was reportedly very annoyed that Freddie had almost completely rewritten the song behind his back (reportedly whilst he was on holiday!), so perhaps that explains why the song was still credited only to Taylor. Roger's version is at the end of the film; Freddie's version is on the album.
According to Brian, "“The track, as originally conceived by Roger, was lugubrious and heavy and Freddie totally lightened it up to make it a commercially accessible thing, adding all the little riffs,”

Love, love, love Queen. I never got to see Freddie onstage unfortunately I didn't live in an area that got many/if any shows. I'm good to see Brian and Roger play live though this fall and I can't wait! We don't have the entire band anymore but I'll take what I can get. It will probably the last chance I'll get.

Yes, this song was originally written by Roger Taylor inspired by Martin Luther King but when the band got together to record it, they (mostly Freddie, Brian, and Roger) rewrote it, You can watch them in the video recording and working on the lyrics. It is fascinating.

Great concert but their gig filmed in Budapest two weeks later is much better, just because at Wembley Freddie had a bad cold, when you listen to the concert in Hungary the true power and clarity in Mr. Mercury's voice is evident.👍
