@@dominicmallano5633 guess the opposite of Yasuie, because he was really stern and serious in the flashbacks, hence why the red scabbards didn't recognize him until he was put for execution. The death of Yasuie was one of the saddest moments for me, especially with how Toko tried to revive him.
We've partially seen that idea already when the Sabo reflected on Kuma, and we see an image of him with a big sheepish grin on his face, and Sabo describes him as "that gentle Kuma"
Kuma and Bonny are adding up to be a huge payoff for so much time and energy by Oda. Blackbeard held her as leverage against the Navy for ships as well, which I always assumed was because she was a supernova; but now has so many more implications!
Imagine if kuma went after BB for taking bonney not as a WG operative but a father protecting his child, like dragon saving luffy. Because kuma DF is very strong and I can see him doing damage to the crew with his speed and to be able to swat away the other crewmembers.😱😱😱

If Zoro wants sake while holding the compass it's Gonna point to the nearest bottle of sake, if he wants to go to luffy it's Gonna point to luffy. My only concern is if his terrible sense of direction transcends even the following of a compass needle. Then not even the compass can help him

@@danielcampbell2411 I get your line of thinking, but darkness swallows light. So having light gloves be the counter to darkness is a bit of a stretch. Games often portray the two as weaknesses for the other, but pure darkness (A black hole or negative matter which seems to be how BB's Devil fruit works) Sucks light in just like everything else.
It very much seems like we'll be struck with Bonney for a bit, with her crew basically gone and Kuma with the revolutionaries, unless she just heads directly for Kamabacka along with Vegapunk, which does seems like the more viable option in order to postpone the Luffy Dragon meetup
The concept of vegapunk is possibly inspired by one of my favorite movies, Tim Burton’s 9 which is when a scientist splits his soul into 9 robotic sack dolls in order to save a post apocalyptic world. It fits so well that it’s kinda hard not to think that one piece will soon have a war and these vegapunk bodies will help save it
It's weird, I first thought everyone being frozen was the result of Caesar Clown's poison gas he used on Punk Hazard, but someone pointed out that the frozen people in the cover of this chapter don't match up to how they looked in Punk Hazard, and I was like "Wait... is Kuzan here?! Why would he be here?!" This definitely adds a lot of intrigue to this cover story, to say the least.
Not to mention the caption for the cover story says "Meanwhile", suggesting its happening at the same time as the previous cover story (where Caesar should still be escaping WCI).
Maybe the reason vegapunk considers kaido’s fruit a failure is because it does not have a mind of its own it has been confirmed that mythical zoens have a mind of their own vegapunk may be able of making a 100% accurate paramecia logia and regular zoen fruit but not mythical zoen since he can’t give it a mind of its own
The restriction for vegapunk is money and time and the restriction for luffy is just his imagination. Each of these two cancel out the others restriction, so that they together can make everything possible 🤯

In a pirate crew, the QM was the boss and would typically have more authority while at sea when it came to navigation, daily operations, financial services, etc. That's why in a few chapters ago, everyone just respects her to where she can lock Luffy in a cage and beat his face and nobody can say anything. On land, yeah Luffy is the captain. Even then he only puts on the straw hat and makes the big calls when it's appropriate to do so... and sometimes when not appropriate. Jokes aside, without Nami as the navigation expert I believe it is highly unlikely the straw hats would have survived the New World. That's why she was responsible for the entance to WCI and the safe escape. Give Nami more props pease.
He could push out the different parts of his mind or soul and transfer them into the new bodies. I don't think Buggies would work without awakening, though would his fruit work on a metaphysical level or only the physical world around him? On an unrelated Buggy awakening his devil fruit, what if he used his awakening to cut a path through the red line? He could do some interesting stuff with that
The commander-in-chief aka the fleet admiral, is the Marine's strongest force against a Yonko, while the 3 admirals are considered the Ultimate Assault Force to balance the power of the pirates. Currently, the World Government's answer to the Yonkos lies in the hands of Akainu, Kizaru, Fujitora, Ryokugyu.
Honestly, it’s hard to pick a favourite Admiral because they’re all great characters to follow for their own reason! I like Kuzan because he seems reasonable and level-headed, has his own principles that seem to be outside the Marine/Pirate binary and yet he isn’t idealistic enough to be inflexible. He will change sides depending on whatever suits his morals/goals best. Fujitora on the other hand seems like a paragon-oriented pirate playing marine. He’s idealistic, has lofty goals, emotional and sentimental. I think of him as a sort of dreamer kinda guy. Kizaru then is the renegade-pirate playing Marine. Disarmingly ruthless, unsentimental, seemingly no great goal in mind other than flexing his strength on people he doesn’t like. He’s also a bit of a weirdo and makes the best sounds when he speaks. Akainu is great as a traditional, shounen Big Bad. We know he’s a dickhead and why. We’re not supposed to like him and mission accomplished. Aaand whilst we don’t know lots about Green Bull having this sort of fascism simp, Akainu’s own personal Barto, seems like it’s going to fun. I think I’m going to love to hate him. All in all. I choose Kizaru!!
I think you are absolutely right regarding the joining the crew thing. It wouldn't make sense for anyone else to join after Luffy has already shared his dream. Yamato already knows so he will come aboard but I don't think anyone who doesn't would be more than a temporary crewmate.
That’s a good point actually. I mean Luffy could tell other people as well about his dream but it would feel a little bit weird considering the fact that he did not mention it to his other crewmembers for the longest time.
I agree and full this is the straw hats and Yamato will be join later. Because luffy never been a man who want a big crew and now told them his end goal after becoming pirate king I say this is the whole crew with thousands sunny too.
I think everyone is missing the most important part here: Caribou's barrel is in the shot when Luffy reveals his dream. Therefore he is 100% confirmed to be a crewmember.
I do believe it still makes sense if the queen was Bonnie's mother as Bonnie stated in this chapter the lab was still around on this island when she was a kid, Kuma's transformation could've have been slow and over time, Kuma/Pacifistas could have one of the first experiments started and done on egghead
4:41 Actually besides time and money, there is a 3rd resource that we hear Vegapunk Lilith and Vegapunk Atlas literally complain about for almost the entire chapter: resources. Like, stuff to build things out from. That's why Lilith wants to salvage the Sunny, because besides the treasures she believes to be in there, she likely also noticed that the thing was made from Adam tree wood or smth or maybe just thought to completely scrap the ship to use for his inventions. The World Government likely supplies the guy with a ton of money, up until they decided to just kill him I guess, but I doubt they can supply him with nearly enough materials, except when those materials are going into Government-requested projects like Pacifistas or Seraphims. I can see this being like a fun little mini-adventure/b-plot where Vegapunk just asks the strawhats for help in gathering/processing said raw materials or smth, probably Usopp and Franky, while the rest of the crew either defend against the CP 0 or look for the other satellites/the main body.
Everybody talks about Franky getting those light punching gloves, but Usoop is also known for using gadgets. Him having a way to create holograms and fighting them, would fit with his deceptive abilities.
So that soul idea just reminds me of the movie 9 which I brought up on a Tekking video because that movie also debated on what counts as alive and each one had a different personality. The scientist was one who worked for a government that then caused evil and made his soul into 9 separate bodies. Could make sense but again just referencing it as an idea
If it really is true that the final crew members are the ones Luffy told his dream to, then Yamato still has a chance to join later on since she actually heard Luffy's dream back when Ace told her. Although, I don't see a magical scenario where she can just leave Momo at Wano by himself.
I could see it if the fight between the Straw Hats and Blackbeard is in THE big final war, because Wano is absolutely showing up if so. Plus, the Straw Hats are still one person short for 1v1s against the Titanic Captains

Id compare her situation to Jimbei after Fishman Island, protecting Wano until the time is right, because she still has her own dream, and itd be kind of sad for her to just be forced to give it up. Whether that'll be during the events of the main story or after, who knows, but I dont wanna get my hopes up too much.

Just spitballing here: What if Kuma is inside a devilfruit now? ( or an equal vessel). The devil fruits were clearly made sometime in the past. We know the Zoan fruits have a will of their own and Vegapunk is a devil fruit specialist who can make a dog-cannon. So maybe he not just used Kuma to develop the pacifistas (with his body), but recycled Kumas mind for his experiments to recreate devil fruits. If true, kuma would be not just a big fluffbear but also a consumable. Yummy!
What if the faulty Seraphin Kuma is not faulty at all? It could be that Vegapunk has some sort of plan B against the Navy. The OG Kuma may be lost, but his consciousness could be networked with Seraphin Kuma in a similar way to Vegapunk satellites.

It was at 0:59 when I realized that Blackbeard is going after Pudding because 3 Eyed Tribe. He may have some way to force the awakening of her ability to read poneglyphs, or he may simply know about it and is looking for a way to read them without getting in a direct fight with Luffy a la Enies Lobby 2.0. I think the cover story is ridiculously important.
The discussion about each of the Punks being alive was basically what Atlas said when she talked about perception and holograms. To me it felt like Oda telling us to make our own opinion about the Punks
Vega 02 mentions "the Stella" is the main body, while all of the 6 get named. This implies there must be a separate "main body" and the 6 are split from it.
I like to think that the strawhats are going to get sciencey upgrades at egghead increasing their power. Sanji getting a new raid suit (maybe with light interaction incorporated), nami gets a higher tech clima tact. Ussop gets more gadgets and of course franky will get some upgrades to his tech, maybe merging with turning the sunny into a megazord. Zoro could get a devil fruit for one of his swords (or find out Enma has a devil fruit) chopper learning new medical techniques or new drugs/rumble balls. So excited for this arc
I would say that if the multiple personalities of Vega punk are like the 7 deadly sins the original body would be sloth.. like he's so damn smart he doesn't want to be bothered to do anything but sleep so he created the other versions of himself to do things they do so he can just chill playing video games like king from one punch or reading dirty magazines like Kakashi
When I read it I thought it was Ceaser’s gas, but it could just as easily be aokiji… or any other number of red herrings that we don’t know. I would like to see aokiji again. To see him giving Luffy approval for freeing Robin from her past would be awesome.
So an interesting little tidbit about Kuma's title "Tyrant". Tyrant's original definition in Latin just meant "someone who took power by means other than Democratic election." That doesn't necessarily mean they're a bad ruler. That could make some sense why Bonney's childhood sketch depicts her in poverty. It is likely Kuma took the throne to the Sorbet Kingdom in some sort of revolution, which would explain the title, and make sense with him not being cruel and oppressive, like as Sabo said "our king and gentle Kuma".

I think since this arc is gonna be more of a sci-fi type arc, the straw hats are gonna go to the moon and meet Enel again. Also my friend had a theory that one of zoros swords might eat a devil fruit.

I like to think each split happened as he realized he needed to separate from that part of himself. So first logic so he had someone to refer to who only thought logically. Then evil once he needed to distance himself from from negativity or becoming a villan.

Poor Katakuri has had it really rough lately… Imagine going on a 40 year long winstreak and then get beaten by Monkey D. Luffy, Caesar Clown *and* Kuzan all in the span of what, a week?
Kuzan idk he clash with katakrui probably only went to do teach for teach whatever he had him to do. Mostly for polygenh rubbing. Caesar clown hallucinations gas make up the sense of vision katakrui observation haki wouldn't work. Caesar clown did his homework on katakrui his ability to see glimpse in the Future.
another thought I had was before he joined the marines, when he was probably a kid he belonged to a family who could read them and they taught him how go read it but the government didn't know they had a child so when they killed his parents they didn't think anything of aokiji as more then an orphan since when he was a kid who looked poor and potentially an orphan, and that connection to Robin could have been why he spared her, he connected with her
People keep saying it’s like a Naruto 6 Paths of Pain reference with Vegapunk but that situation the Pains were just remote controlled corpses the original body could see through and control. I think it’s more like Father and the Homunculi from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Those Homunculi all came from the same being but each had there own personalities.

The whole bit with Kaguya was out of left field because the author couldn't find a way to have Madara get defeated and the final Naruto VS Sasuke fight should've been longer. I just don't like how the Hinata-stans make the entire series seem to revolve around her.

When readying the chapter I saw a small art mistake When we meet the "little" girl Vegapunk it says her name is Atlas and she has the number 6 on her but on the next page Kaku shows us the list of names and numbers of Vegapunk and it says Atlas is 5 while York is 6
Katakuri vs Aokiji is actually interesting to think about. In my head Aokiji has a distinct advantage when it comes to DF abilities. Not to mention we don't really now how much stronger he is since the timeskip (at least I don't think we do).
Maybe it's a stretch, but Vegapunk could have a devil fruit that allows him to split into multiple 'clones' of himself, all based on personality traits (wrath, logic, wisdom etc). It could be a natural devil fruit, or even one that he created himself.
Hope to see Katakuri going to the island and having a 1v1 between him and Akoiji, ending in a draw were nobody wins giving equal respect for both characters, were Akoiji just simply escapes after the other intruder went to get Big Mom's poneglyph, that's if he appears of course
Zoro wants to talk to Vegapunk about Kuma most likely. Zoro was the first of the strawhats to know Kuma was a pacifista developed by Vegapunk in thrillerbark. Franky called Bartholomew Kuma one of the strawhats greatest allies post time skip (sanji was getting a blood transfusion at the time, so he didn't hear it). Zoro probably put those things together, and now has more questions about "why".

No matter what, we've got the "stella" version of Vega Punk ("star") along with his satellites, I think the main body is crucial to the rest of them "01-06" in some way or another.
I think the underperformance of other commanders against admirals puts a lot of perspective how strong were the Whitebeard commanders. Joz was able to harm Kuzan and effectively block his attacks until he was distracted Marco was able to stop all the Admirals at Marineford without much issue Ace was able to counter Kuzan's attack as well
Kuma’s backstory will just be heartbreaking to watch. It’ll be a shorter Itachi type melancholy. I remember thinking of him as a complete straight-faced jerk when ‘nothing happened’ to Zoro.
What if Zoro wants to know about the Grim Reaper, that panel has always been super out of the ordinary and since Vega Punk can do anything with time and money he then can learn why Zoro saw the Grim Reaper
Bonney crying for Kuma after the War of the Best makes so much sense. She saw for the first time through the Transponder Snail broadcast what her father had become. Imagine losing your loving father at an early age, only to see him turned into a cold killing machine.
Dowager Queen can also be used for the Mother of the King/Queen that stop being Queen once their child took the title. Like. So Bonney's mom could still be alive.
Imagine an added crew on top of the current one with even a few of the old and ne potential strawhats Yamato carrot reiju tama all vegapunks Bonney vivi and the rest it would be way too much going on at once
I think the number means priority for the vegapunks is a good idea. My solution to evil being 2 is that vegapunk meant it to be piracy as in like luffy's ideas but the WG named it evil so that the other vegapunks would hate punk 02. It might also explain why she saved the straw hats.
Jewelry Bonney for Nakama was my Thought from her initial reintroduction. She fits perfectly, is based upon Anne Bonny, and already had a big interaction with Zoro back on Sabaody. Also, for about a Decade I've proposed 5-6 more Straw Hats. I still have Yamato for Nakama. There have been four Straw Hats in the East Blue to join. Four more joined during Paradise. Why wouldn't four more @ least join in the New World, the largest, Most Powerful, and Most Dangerous Sea? Jinbei took this long. Don't discount others. Brook joined right before Sabaody for example. The Crew just became a Yonko Crew.

@@johnanderson3559 Nami is essentially the Quartermaster of the crew. In a pirate crew, the QM was the boss and would typically have more authority while at sea when it came to navigation, daily operations, financial services, etc.
That's why in a few chapters ago, everyone just respects her to where she can lock Luffy in a cage and beat his face and nobody can say anything.
On land, yeah Luffy is the captain. Even then he only puts on the straw hat and makes the big calls when it's appropriate to do so... and sometimes when not appropriate.
Jokes aside, without Nami as the navigation expert I believe it is highly unlikely the straw hats would have survived the New World. That's why she was responsible for the entance to WCI and the safe escape. Give Nami more props pease.

Honestly, it’s hard to pick a favourite Admiral because they’re all great characters to follow for their own reason!
I like Kuzan because he seems reasonable and level-headed, has his own principles that seem to be outside the Marine/Pirate binary and yet he isn’t idealistic enough to be inflexible. He will change sides depending on whatever suits his morals/goals best.
Fujitora on the other hand seems like a paragon-oriented pirate playing marine. He’s idealistic, has lofty goals, emotional and sentimental. I think of him as a sort of dreamer kinda guy.
Kizaru then is the renegade-pirate playing Marine. Disarmingly ruthless, unsentimental, seemingly no great goal in mind other than flexing his strength on people he doesn’t like. He’s also a bit of a weirdo and makes the best sounds when he speaks.
Akainu is great as a traditional, shounen Big Bad. We know he’s a dickhead and why. We’re not supposed to like him and mission accomplished.
Aaand whilst we don’t know lots about Green Bull having this sort of fascism simp, Akainu’s own personal Barto, seems like it’s going to fun. I think I’m going to love to hate him.

I think you are absolutely right regarding the joining the crew thing. It wouldn't make sense for anyone else to join after Luffy has already shared his dream. Yamato already knows so he will come aboard but I don't think anyone who doesn't would be more than a temporary crewmate.
That’s a good point actually. I mean Luffy could tell other people as well about his dream but it would feel a little bit weird considering the fact that he did not mention it to his other crewmembers for the longest time.
I agree and full this is the straw hats and Yamato will be join later. Because luffy never been a man who want a big crew and now told them his end goal after becoming pirate king I say this is the whole crew with thousands sunny too.
I think everyone is missing the most important part here: Caribou's barrel is in the shot when Luffy reveals his dream. Therefore he is 100% confirmed to be a crewmember.

I do believe it still makes sense if the queen was Bonnie's mother as Bonnie stated in this chapter the lab was still around on this island when she was a kid, Kuma's transformation could've have been slow and over time, Kuma/Pacifistas could have one of the first experiments started and done on egghead

4:41 Actually besides time and money, there is a 3rd resource that we hear Vegapunk Lilith and Vegapunk Atlas literally complain about for almost the entire chapter: resources. Like, stuff to build things out from. That's why Lilith wants to salvage the Sunny, because besides the treasures she believes to be in there, she likely also noticed that the thing was made from Adam tree wood or smth or maybe just thought to completely scrap the ship to use for his inventions. The World Government likely supplies the guy with a ton of money, up until they decided to just kill him I guess, but I doubt they can supply him with nearly enough materials, except when those materials are going into Government-requested projects like Pacifistas or Seraphims. I can see this being like a fun little mini-adventure/b-plot where Vegapunk just asks the strawhats for help in gathering/processing said raw materials or smth, probably Usopp and Franky, while the rest of the crew either defend against the CP 0 or look for the other satellites/the main body.
Everybody talks about Franky getting those light punching gloves, but Usoop is also known for using gadgets. Him having a way to create holograms and fighting them, would fit with his deceptive abilities.

If it really is true that the final crew members are the ones Luffy told his dream to, then Yamato still has a chance to join later on since she actually heard Luffy's dream back when Ace told her. Although, I don't see a magical scenario where she can just leave Momo at Wano by himself.

To be fair, Yamato DOES want to be a Straw Hat, and is very clearly considered an honourary one like Vivi is. Id compare her situation to Jimbei after Fishman Island, protecting Wano until the time is right, because she still has her own dream, and itd be kind of sad for her to just be forced to give it up.
Whether that'll be during the events of the main story or after, who knows, but I dont wanna get my hopes up too much.

The devil fruits were clearly made sometime in the past. We know the Zoan fruits have a will of their own and Vegapunk is a devil fruit specialist who can make a dog-cannon.
So maybe he not just used Kuma to develop the pacifistas (with his body), but recycled Kumas mind for his experiments to recreate devil fruits.
If true, kuma would be not just a big fluffbear but also a consumable. Yummy!

What if the faulty Seraphin Kuma is not faulty at all? It could be that Vegapunk has some sort of plan B against the Navy. The OG Kuma may be lost, but his consciousness could be networked with Seraphin Kuma in a similar way to Vegapunk satellites.

It was at 0:59 when I realized that Blackbeard is going after Pudding because 3 Eyed Tribe. Vega 02 mentions "the Stella" is the main body, while all of the 6 get named. This implies there must be a separate "main body" and the 6 are split from it.
I like to think that the strawhats are going to get sciencey upgrades at egghead increasing their power. Sanji getting a new raid suit (maybe with light interaction incorporated), nami gets a higher tech clima tact. Ussop gets more gadgets and of course franky will get some upgrades to his tech, maybe merging with turning the sunny into a megazord. Zoro could get a devil fruit for one of his swords (or find out Enma has a devil fruit) chopper learning new medical techniques or new drugs/rumble balls. So excited for this arc
I would say that if the multiple personalities of Vega punk are like the 7 deadly sins the original body would be sloth.. like he's so damn smart he doesn't want to be bothered to do anything but sleep so he created the other versions of himself to do things they do so he can just chill playing video games like king from one punch or reading dirty magazines like Kakashi
When I read it I thought it was Ceaser’s gas, but it could just as easily be aokiji… or any other number of red herrings that we don’t know. I would like to see aokiji again. To see him giving Luffy approval for freeing Robin from her past would be awesome.
So an interesting little tidbit about Kuma's title "Tyrant".
Tyrant's original definition in Latin just meant "someone who took power by means other than Democratic election." That doesn't necessarily mean they're a bad ruler.
That could make some sense why Bonney's childhood sketch depicts her in poverty. It is likely Kuma took the throne to the Sorbet Kingdom in some sort of revolution, which would explain the title, and make sense with him not being cruel and oppressive, like as Sabo said "our king and gentle Kuma".

I like to think each split happened as he realized he needed to separate from that part of himself. So first logic so he had someone to refer to who only thought logically. Then evil once he needed to distance himself from from negativity or becoming a villan.

They see all kind of awesome things and Punk 06 talks about the soul of objects, also known as the voice of all things
The tour ends in a large room with something large in the middle of it, Punk 06 says this object has a very strong 'voice'
Zoro's group also enters the lab at another place and they meet Punk 01, Franky is shocked when he seems him and seems to recognize him
The chapter ends with Luffy's group and we see what was in the large room

Katakuri vs Aokiji is actually interesting to think about. In my head Aokiji has a distinct advantage when it comes to DF abilities. Not to mention we don't really now how much stronger he is since the timeskip (at least I don't think we do).

Zoro wants to talk to Vegapunk about Kuma most likely. Zoro was the first of the strawhats to know Kuma was a pacifista developed by Vegapunk in thrillerbark. Franky called Bartholomew Kuma one of the strawhats greatest allies post time skip (sanji was getting a blood transfusion at the time, so he didn't hear it). Zoro probably put those things together, and now has more questions about "why".

I think the underperformance of other commanders against admirals puts a lot of perspective how strong were the Whitebeard commanders.
Joz was able to harm Kuzan and effectively block his attacks until he was distracted
Marco was able to stop all the Admirals at Marineford without much issue
Ace was able to counter Kuzan's attack as well
Kuma’s backstory will just be heartbreaking to watch. It’ll be a shorter Itachi type melancholy. I remember thinking of him as a complete straight-faced jerk when ‘nothing happened’ to Zoro.

I think the number means priority for the vegapunks is a good idea. My solution to evil being 2 is that vegapunk meant it to be piracy as in like luffy's ideas but the WG named it evil so that the other vegapunks would hate punk 02. It might also explain why she saved the straw hats.
Jewelry Bonney for Nakama was my Thought from her initial reintroduction. She fits perfectly, is based upon Anne Bonny, and already had a big interaction with Zoro back on Sabaody. Also, for about a Decade I've proposed 5-6 more Straw Hats. I still have Yamato for Nakama. There have been four Straw Hats in the East Blue to join. Four more joined during Paradise. Why wouldn't four more @ least join in the New World, the largest, Most Powerful, and Most Dangerous Sea? Jinbei took this long. Don't discount others. Brook joined right before Sabaody for example. The Crew just became a Yonko Crew.
