Haddock especially in UK is simply 3 X as good as even Beer Battered in States. That looks like a beautiful decadent feast. I didnt get a chance to try Fish cake looks amazing!! thanks for sharing

One of the best guests ever on the channel, and really brought so many positive comments, especially after the previous few videos with all the unwarranted hate. I love the regionality of our chip shops. That Yorkshire fishcake would be called a dab in County Durham, but further up the road, in Tyneside and Newcastle, we didn't get them. Our fishcakes were mashed potato with fish. We also had cheese patties and corned beef patties which were mashed potato with cheese or corned beef. In Belfast, the patties are called pasties and they are made with sausage meat.

My hometown in the US has chippies. We had English immigrants work in the factories in the early 1900s and the chippies stayed. The oldest being Ye Olde English Fish & Chips.
Danny said dip beef rib and mashed potato in custard 🤔. The next time I have apple crumble I'm going to pour beef gravy over the top or some whipped curry sauce over my chocolate cake😂. But saying that I've had venison in like a chocolate gravy sauce and it was delicious so Danny could be right about the custard over beef and mash 😁
