    Unsealed raw foam the critter can chew on and eat to get an impaction, and so when it pees the foam will absorb it... Nice!!!

      Pueden poner en su interior un poco de sustrato, y obviamente limpiar periódicamente cada 3 días, para eso yo dejaría como una especie de puerta del lado para no quitar todo y así sea muy fácil su limpieza, el concepto es muy bueno, solo tenemos que hacer algunos ajustes para que sea muy bueno el hábitat

    omg that will start to smell so bad so quickly...also im afraid he might eat the styrofoam and there will be lots of mold with the wet grassroll.
    Here is how you make a hamster house in an aquarium propperly:
    Fill it with dirt as in actual earth - put actual grass seeds (or grass) on it. Put a wooden hamster house in. Put hamster in.
    Hamster will dig his own tunnels to his liking and not be confused and constrained by the foam. And you can even plant various vegetables in the aquarium (peas grow very fast) for the hamser to have natural food avalaiable. And the best part is that mircobes in the earth will eat the poop so you dont even have to clean up

    • @LilyHuebner
      @LilyHuebner 2 года назад +3

      Dirt wouldn’t be suitable either as it won’t hold up burrows and will just collapse on the hamster. Instead he should get paper based bedding.

    • @OrkarIsberEstar

    I can guarantee: my hamsters 30+ years ago would have shredded that foam within a week. They absolutely chewed through anything even remotely plastic like it was nothing.
    Heck, one of them even stripped the plastic coating of a plugged in extension socket along the length of roughly a meter or so. Nope, it didn't get electrocuted, nor did it cause a short. We STILL, to this very day, don't know HOW it did it, but it definitely did do it. We were really afraid when we moved the bed the extension socket cable lay under, but also incredibly relieved because nothing bad had happened. Yeah, we gave all our hamsters (always singles) lots and lots of natural things to chew on. Wood, bark, grass, hay, seeds, twigs, you name it. Yet anything with plastic, and you couldn't hold them back.

    I love seeing hamsters in cute little tunnels, but half the fun it watching them make the tunnels themselves. Sure they mess up your manicured overworld, but given enough time they'll make that into a lovely little landscape of their own! This is more of a mock-bioactive than anything I'd actually let a pet live in, especially not rodents. They love to chew and build their own nests, but in this you've not given your pet anything for enrichment or even basic needs, it sets a horrible example for first time pet owners who thinks this looks cool and easy to maintain.
    please make a video where you build an actual hamster bio-active! Its a challenge to use all natural materials, and to build with your pet's digging habits, but it is so much more rewarding a final image than this plain half-baked terrarium.

    looks good - but you do know that hamsters prefer to dig their own tunnels? That's practically their life's work. Besides, they gnaw on everything - what do you think will happen if the hamster eats the glue and foam...?

    You should do another video, but make one with real dirt. You could use the long animal balloons to make tunnels. Fill surrounding area with wet dirt, pack it tight, let it dry. Pop the balloons, Viola.

    • @JasmineTea127

      Dirt can cause respiratory infections. These aren’t wild hamsters but human raised.

      Bro!! I just read this comment first while in deep meditation on how he can turn this into an amazing seasonal bioactive type hamster proof/safe attachment to its living quarters that could easily be opened and shut off for access (by simply blocking the attachment entrance) but also making it observable underground AND YOUR SUGGESTION IS FUKKIN BRILLIANT! IM EXCITED TO TRY THIS MYSELF..THANK U
