The ventilation panel on the back is supposed to keep the players cooler when they wear the jersey tucked in. The problem is it looks terrible for us that never tuck ours in. Especially the teams that have pinstripes. Which is why I bought an old Majestic that didn't have that ugly ventilation panel on the back.
Authentic jerseys just look funny without being worn in actual play because of the bottom panel. And I'm pretty sure one of the purposes of it is to help keep it tucked in with all of the different movements during play

The next day i went in and said screw it give me the 99 away jersey which was originally $299 and he said to me if you want it I’ll do $140 before tax and i said deal grab that stick and bring it down from the top. As a matter do you have Judge pinstripe in 48? He said yep its the last one and if you want I’ll give it to you for $125. I said well bring that sum bitch down to because it’s coming home with me. Basically just a tad more room in chest area and longer length. I personally size up on every jersey I buy. So if your a medium I would always go for a large. If you normally wear large shirts I would get a XL jersey but like he said it’s all personal preference. I just like more room. Why would you want the Jersey to fit tight? I get it if you have muscles and want to show off. But If you want to be comfortable then get the size up and be happy 😊

It depends on your preferred fit. Go with your standard shirt size. Authentics fit longer and form fitting. If you size up it works with a hoodie. I'm 200 pounds,5'10 and wear 44/Large.
