- Welcome back to my annual upload, it is good to see you all. The face of consistency is back at it again with some league of legends, this time he wants to make sure that he never sees zeri in his games ever again. Crit Zeri is not good, don't let anybody tell you otherwise, even doublelift and his video "1000 hours of crit zeri and I explain why it's good." He himself admits it's really not that good. After her latest nerfs zeri has fallen all the way to the bottom in winrate amongst ADC's and maybe we ought to have a bigger discussion over crit itemization in general.
Idk i have 250 games played with her and im at 65% wr atm all soloq, playing her crit, idk why ppl are so mad about it but its doing fine for me. :p
Cause it's actually horrible,every single match you go er+shieldbow/kraken+ie just to get fucking 2 shot anyways and you cant get any speed cause anyone with a brain just kills the adc first, you do negligible dmg per burst to the point you need to dmg the same guy for 7seconds just for them to die. And bless your sweet soul if they heal or have a shield cause that's an additional 5 seconds trying to kill them while their 0/2 jihn just takes off half your hp bar with a 4th shot. Atleast bruiser build has a shit ton of itemization for different circumstances, fuck even ap has more itemization than the abomination of shit that is crit zeri, hopefully the new buffs make her crit not shit cause jesus christ it is borderline unplayable. Hell i have a 60% wr with crit but it is the most unfun thing in the planet, you have zero impact in the whole game till lategame where you build bt+ga or any other defensive item to try and stay alive for an extra 0.5s seconds to try and get ms stacks, meanwhile their mf just auto+q's you with a lethality build and your screen turns grey while their frontline gets tickled by your auto attacks just by building frozen heart/randuin's. It's honestly baffling that zeri has to stick to crit while ezreal can build fucking frozen heart and still 3 shot your team cause he has a prowler's claw and a serylda

So, if you really want to build Zeri crit, you always need to buy Sheen First, and as starter item you can go for gold farm shythe. For the first time i played Zeri crit she really felt weak, but then i get to play botrk with Kraken slayer. It was really good actually, but her main problem is still team sync. You can't just run into enemys, bcs they can just kill you, but then in teamfight you need rotate so fast to just deal damage, and of course you team should sup you. In other words she is weak duelist in normal crit build, but still just pretty messy in teamfight, if your teammates are not that good.

Idk G, I top Dps >75% of the time and have a 63% win rate over 200 games. I don’t think she’s as shit as some make her out to be.
Honestly bud I think your problem is your positioning and not using her kit properly. 1st mistake I saw was you fighting the Draven 1v1 and waiting till you were dead to pop ur ult when u prob would have won if you popped from start. 2nd you keep trying to fight on top of people when your a ranged champ. 3rd you really don't need IE to do damage. I've been rushing stormrazor first into kraken. It's only 2700 and it gives you a early game power spike with a slow which helps you kite. Next build essence reaver into whatever you need. Should be shredding by 3 items.
1. I didn’t mention anything having to do with my ability to play the champ, good or bad. I used a lot of footage ranging from literally the first game I played of zeri up until two weeks of playing only zeri. I was strictly speaking on damage numbers which are just laid out and factual. This champion is one of the worst in the game, that has nothing to do with me, which is why I showed the clip of the best player to ever come out of North America playing the champ to a high degree of skill and still doing nothing. 2. I didn’t press r against draven because I was 13 and 4 or something and draven was 1 and 6, pardon me for thinking that with literally every other champion in the game I don’t need to ult there and that was to provide further evidence to how nerfed the original build was. 3. you do need IE to do damage. I invite you to go back and watch doublelift’s clip where he has 3 items and doing no damage without IE. As for stormrazor, there is no scenario in which you’re building stormrazor and essence reaver isn’t just better. Stormrazor is one of the least built items in the game for the simple reason any in scenario in which you can consider building it, another item is just better. Why would you ever want to build stormrazor over bloodthirster, essence reaver, lord doms, IE. Those are 4 items right there. You only get 6 a game and one of those slots is boots. Those are the items it’s competing against, there is no world in which you’re playing crit zeri and understanding that you need to get to 3 items and be the most powerful champ that you can be, and you’re choosing stormrazor over any of those items. My point is the reason this build feels bad, is that no matter what happens at 3 items there is no variance of this build that feels good to play ( which is why she has the lowest win rate for marksmen, because regardless of skill, the champion just is not useful.) And in any argument in which we have to bring up stormrazor as the savior of zeri “because it helps her kite” is not a very productive conversation. Zeri does not have a problem kiting, actually that’s the only thing the champion can do (as double lift displayed.) And so the crux of your build lies on stormrazor being better than essence reaver on zeri, let alone all the other items I listed, then your understanding of what is ideal inside of the game is very much off. Because essence reaver is ALWAYS better than stormrazor, because of sheen. So Please take off the dislike on the video it hurt my feelings :(

@@Sammysapphira don't knock it till you try it. Has synergy with zeri as she needs to move to build her passive anyways and the damage is about the same as sheen.

So you're basicly out of position, tanks every skillshot even with that movementspeed. Interresting take but also really untrue. You are really arrogant to think you know more about the game than Turtle and other LCS players who litteraly gets a paycheck for playing league. With your mechanics sure she isnt that good, but in the hands of someone who actually can play the game on a higher level shes a monster and insanely hard to shutdown. I also do top dps with her in 60% of my games against meta carries. She isnt easy, she is extremely complicated and not for everyone.
I love how people just watch this video and dismiss every point I made just because as I said in the video, I just recently came back to league so yes I’m rusty. None of my points said, “WOW I CANT STOP GETTING HIT BY SKILLSHOTS ON THIS CHAMP, THIS IS THE WORST CHARACTER IN THE GAME,” Even still at my peak I’m not the best adc in the world. By your logic if I just chose clips that made me look good my points would be more valid. But yeah don’t even bother addressing any of my points. I’ve already responded to the “ you’re just bad” comment so I’m not gonna go in depth on that here too. Also, arrogance is thinking that pro players are then end all be all in terms of knowledge of the game, especially NA players. These are the same pro players who are notorious for picking bad champions (Like Lee sin AFTER getting nerfed,) and who are also garbage at drafting, because they prioritize their comfort over the best picks in the draft. The same pro players that are responsible for these recycled metas. The same pro players picking Leona every game, praying to God the enemy doesn’t just pick morgana one of these days. I made a video a year ago saying conqueror was trash on ezreal and we should take something else and they only started to take press the attack like 2 weeks ago. Crazy stuff how I knew this before pros did. It’s funny you pointed out turtle of all people. Because NA has a huge problem where we’re not bringing enough NEW and young talent into the league and just keep recycling these mediocre players which has led to the stagnation of the region as a whole. So the fact that they’re still getting a paycheck, as you said, is actually bad for the league. I’ve also already answered the “ well I do just fine on zeri, so the champion is not bad,” Comment. Again not really addressing my points, and also shows a gross lack of understanding of what makes champions actually strong or weak. There are Teemo one tricks in challenger. By the simple fact that they’re in challenger means they’re winning more games than they’re losing. Does that mean Teemo is a strong champion? No. So does you doing “top dps in 60% of your games,” relevant to any discussion when it comes to the viability of a champion? No. Not without the context around the application of that damage. Also, whatever elo you are - which judging by the level of this comment, shouldn’t be too high - surely you must agree that you’re not as good as Doublelift? And I purposefully put the clips of him playing zeri and doing absolutely no damage with a yuumi on top of him, 3 items, against a full damage carry at 26 minutes into the game to maybe hint at the fact this champ might not be the best. So let’s say by your logic if doublelift ended up with the most damage on his team that game, that would mean the champion was good? No. Because the clip I showed, displays the CONTEXT around that damage. And as anybody with eyes can see, he was doing jack shit. I also invite you to see my updated video on zeri AFTER the durability patch, I’m sure as the next up and coming North American prodigy you will appreciate the fact that I think she’s better now. :) Edit : Also Zeri is really not that hard to play, she has like a 10 game learning curve and then you're perfectly capable of playing the champ.
