I like the classic design of a Kenworth over a Peterbilt because of that, how do you call it, non-flat hood?.... Gives it a nice classic elegant look. New trucks are focused entirely on fuel economy so they are not gonna look as nice as these classics. It's a good thing that Peterbilt and Kenworth are still making the classic design available with state of the art underpinnings.
Old iron rules! I've seen this truck on the road before near Green River Wyoming. It definitely got my attention. That's a beautiful KW you have. The A Models have been my favorite every since I was a kid back in the 1970's.
I noticed that its the behind the scenes ppl like friends n family especially to help keep the the driver's drive to push on. I really wana thank the behind the scenes ppl in doing that. They don't get the recognition that they deserve. Those r the ppl I love to knw about. Cuz it's like a well oiled machine without them driver's would be having a hell of a time just keeping sane!
These old W900A models are really growing on me these days. Between this and the 359 I would have a hard time picking my favourite, and I've been a Peterbilt fan for life.
This W900 is up there with Picketts and Rabbit River's 359 as my favorite trucks of all time. Fast Freddy's 389 from Western is right up there too. Wow! Keep up the good work.
A thing a beauty...You and your wife and everyone who contributed should be proud....Great lookin great soundin KW.....Keep her between the lines.....Take Care
Great Video! Great Views and Great Interview. Nothing better than a Vintage Kenworth Conventional W900 with a CAT 3406 !! Super Nice Rig. I know he's proud of her. Keep the Video's coming. A Big Thumbs Up !!
Thank you Chris for putting up all these amazing great videos. Lemke Trucking so far has been my personal favourite, I really look forward to seeing more and more of your spectacular work Chris!!! Thank you thank you
That's a Classic Chris thanks for the vid.......looks so much nicer with the wheels back where they belong.....One of the nicest KW"s I have seen in a while....
+BigRig Videos Same here that's back in my dayz of Trucking it is a Beauty. I am a Pete guy but that K'dub is super sweet and its a work horse to boot.....
I love them old KW's especially if it has a 3408 cat, 1693 cat (425)if anyone doesn't know and a KT Cummins. Yeah I been driving trucks over half my life grew up in the business thanks to my father. From the old school
Yep. My 1988 Peterbilt 379 still has the round headlights as well. And the new LED inserts make it a hell of alot better to see at night. When I take it out for a drive.
That video was a work of art! Perfect editing and some amazing footage of a beautiful truck! Thank you for all you do to promote the quality and professionalism of trucking. Keep on trucking!!
Awesome truck and as always great work Chris! Next time you run into a 5 and 4 transmission how about riding along in cab to film driver going through the gears? It's getting very rare to have those working anymore.
Now unless it came with a 5 over 4? Don't ruin the originality of what the factory assembled? I mean every wanna be old school truck. Doesn't require a 5 over 4. You probably couldn't handle one anyway. So why tell another hand. What to have in his own truck? Sighhhh.
@@earlputnal9124 Good thing it’s their truck and they can do what they want with it with their money. I agree with you, but not my place to tell the guy what to do.
No. Not exactly. Most restorations aren't that expensive to do. If you're doing in spurts. Like he was doing with his truck. It depends on what you get restored on the truck. And if you've made the money to get the refurbishments done. And made the time to get em done. Is all.
Hay, Chris just subbed a few days ago & Cant stop watching & Always jamm-N the Thumbs Up Button. Clyde sure got himself a sweet Lil Kitty-Whopper, Only thing missing was an interior sweep-through ! Thanks 4 sharing & I am on2 the next 1 2 catch up. Have a wonderful Blessed Day There, Friend.................Happy Trails From The Maritimes In Canada.....ATB Terry...God Bless
.. ...the most beautiful KW all times ....!!!!!.....it was very popular in mexican companies in 80's..... congratulations to american owner....!!!!!.... quisiera comprar uno y arreglarlo aquí ..... greetings..
Great Video. Been going through all of your compositions for a couple of days and have to say I really admire your style of Editing, and Filming. Couple of questions. What do you use to Film (Camera wise) Aside from Gopro. Also, what device do you use to record the Radio conversations. Also, last but not least, what do you use for stock music. Great style of editing, and of course the trucks are always bad ass....

Over 30 years old and still better looking than any new truck on the road. What a beautiful rig.

She's about perfect. A W900A just looks so good, those round headlights fit that body style better than the newer KW's square ones, IMO.
One of the nicest looking old school 900s I've seen in a long time.
