I use the movable lockers. It's kind of confusing, because they give you a three hour time limit each time you move to a location. But then when you move to the next location, your three hour window starts anew. When you first rent, set up a multi-use for $12. Then follow the "move my locker to this location" prompts at the kiosks the rest of the day. I'm not sure what happens if you go over a three hour limit. I made a record dash from Maverick to the Gatekeeper lockers one day and caught it by the skin of my teeth. I think you could open it from the kiosk for an extra fee, but my payment cards are in the locker. (The three hour window on the multiuse locker is rather silly, if you ask me.)
We went this weekend and got to see come see about me. It was a great show. Even my husband enjoyed it. They ended up cancelling the 8:30 show last night 😢 so my son didn't get to see it. He stayed in the room on Sunday to watch the nascar race. Oh I saw given yesterday. I didn't say anything because he was just getting to work.
Me and my little restaurant crew lives CT behind this Sunday to drive almost 600 miles to Cedar point for 2 nights. So, I have watched a lot of your videos in the past few days. I have found a lot of good information and a general good fell about the park and the way it operates These videos going to make are trip more pleasant and enjoyable. So, thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos and for sharing it. Thumbs up
Moving our stuff is a big part of our strategy because we bring our swimwear. We've been happy with the move-your-locker option, but it took a while to develop a good plan for it. By the way, we'll be there all of next week, and hope to see you there.
I don’t think I have! Not intentionally anyway. But last year I rode a cross body bag to ride every ride. And it works for every ride but flight of fear.
Trent when you've seen the lockers have you noticed any employees holding a clipboard attending to them, answering any questions guests may have? Without them, guests go up to the ride attendants at the entrances and bother them with questions that have no answer to. I believe those attendants work in a different department. Is Cedar Point too cheap to assign people to work there to handles guests' concerns?
Rougarou does not allow bags (except for medical) and the bins they have are exclusively for loose fitting shoes. any crossbody or fannypacks can be worn during the ride.
I don’t take bags. I use zippered cargo pants or shorts. I haven’t ridden much this season but this was interesting. People like to put things on top of lockers. The drink cups used to be stolen when they first came out with them. I’m surprised the ride ops didn’t say you needed an eyeglass strap on. You can ride Steel Vengeance if you have a strap on. The SV little lockers have tight springs. I had to re-punch in the code to open one that sprung shut. Wild Mouse Cheese car made me dizzy on the break run which was cool. It’s said to spin faster. I’d say so. It’s true when they re-block shows if you never saw the show you’d never know. Going over the re-blocking might have been the ‘technical difficulty’. Don’t ride MF in the rain in the front row. It feels like you’re drowning and your face burns. And that little bug. I’ve seen people plastered with them at night. It’s protein. What happens to your items if you go over the 3hr locker limit? At the end of the day is a cross body bag comfortable to walk and ride with all day? Color coordinated hat & shirt video!
I use an old camera bag from the 90's. 😂 It has a strap that goes across my chest. It is about 4x6x3. It's really only big enough to hold a cell phone or two, some sunglasses, our families passes, and any pressed pennies my kids collect. It is the perfect size for the basics, and I have found I am able to be wear it on most of the rides.
Yes! My bags are very small, like a fanny pack or a wearable wallet. OR I wear cargo pants, but they are heavy and hot in the summer heat. The pants are a better solution for Halloweekends.
You can't take bags on Cedar Downs. They make you put them in a bin. Not a fan of that because the bins are right next to the exit gate and somebody could just walk in through the exit gate, swipe your bag, and walk away.
bookbags have to go in the bins yes. I usually put my hat in the bin also. crossbody bags or fanny packs do not need to go in the bins. they just stay on you.
At Chickie and Peetes, LEAVE A TIP. So many people use their drink and food plan and don’t tip. They are serving you. It’s how they get paid. Tip them.

Going in 2 weeks and your vids are so helpful to planning this interstate vacation! Thanks

Do u know by chance what price difference is between a gold pass and platinum pass
Have you done this at Kings Island?

I truly don’t think I’ve seen them. I’ve looked around for them during this video.
You can wear glasses on any ride if you have a strap to hold them on.
Can I keep my phone on me, on Steel Vengeance, if I have it in a zipper pocket on my shorts?
No. There are metal detectors to look for that! Have to put them in the free lockers.
You can take it in line but not on the actual ride
Cross body bags, the new fanny pack.
How about rougarou
I think I forgot that one. Oops! :(

So, I can get on the actual train and ride wearing a fanny pack on all of the rides except Steel Vengeance?
Yep! Not a backpack, but a Fanny pack-- yes.
@@notyournormalg1 Thank you 🙂
What's your favorite cross body bag to bring to the park currently?
My husband has a fanny pack and he can wear that on pretty much everything except SV. He couldn't even have his wallet in a zipper pocket.
Yep. They’re very strict.

Can you tip cash even though cedar point cashless?
@@chriss5165 You can just hand it to them if you want, yes. It’s much less complicated than a credit card tip only.
I have a medical tag on my backpack so I’m able to bring it up to all the stations.
