- A little while back a worker for Cedar Point implied that somehow, they would top Steel Vengeance. Now myself and other enthusiasts are speculating about what if anything could top it.

I haven't had the amazing experience of riding a boomerang yet😭
Truly the greatest coaster model
What about Lil' Phantom?
Nah an SLC will be better
Steel Vengeance
Me: “I’ll call it Steve!”
my dad calls it “Steven” 😂
I love it.
Stick a pre-drop about 6ft long on the TREX drop and you got the longest airtime moment TO EVER EXIST!
EDIT: think Raging Bull’s first drop in back row (underrated AF), but only 40° steeper and 300ft taller.
A pre drop to build speed would be
L E T H A L
Yes!
@@Coastoons Think about it, if Fury325 had a predrop, it’s unbelievable. Now put that 200ft higher.
HOLY SHIT IMAGINE
The thing is that it also depends on the length of the train and how fast it takes it. I'm pretty sure an over the shoulder makes it more positive for more negatives than a lap bar. So they wouldn't make it the single strongest moment. But as long as it has a smaller pop of ejector before it should definitely be god like
Loved steel vengeance, but hell yes, bring in t rex for the win!
Steel Vengeance is the best coaster ive ever road. My first time I just remembered laughing high pitched like a child. Its incredible. Cedar Point is my home park. I road everything hundreds of times. And ive road steel vengeance maybe 10 times and ive never felt such pure joy before.
yeah when i got off it for the first time my legs would not stop shaking, it was the first time ive ever gotten my breath taken away from a ride, never though a coaster could make me feel like that
Steel vengeance is a crazy coaster. I did the same thing with the giggle fit the first time I rode it. Was in complete disbelief of what I just experienced lol.
That's how I feel with Twisted Timbers at Kings Dominion. Hope I can someday go to Cedar Point, it's always been something I've wanted to do.
Being from around the area too I never thought something could top Millennium for me but Steel Vengeance killed it
@@shane7776777 I love Millennium Force no doubt, it’s still my favorite. Such a smooth drop and ride plus great air time . To me Steel Vengeance is the the best coaster at cedar point but riding the Millennium Force as a kid when it first came out. It gives me that first time nostalgia every time I ride it.
Trying to think how a RMC t-Rex would fit on the peninsula and where the space would be and if it could even fit
A Polar Coaster would be great if it bridged the gap between the park and their resorts, maximizing available space, with a coaster-skyline-viewing restaurant or small hotel at the top. Sadly I can't see any other 500 footer fitting out there without multiple unacceptable coaster removals. I'd shit myself for a full sized custom 4D that challenges Eejanaika but would that require Gemini?
I do think a trex would definitely top steel vengeance, however I doubt it'll be something that they'll build for a few reasons.
1. RMCs current reputation to CP/CF likely isn't great due to the issues with most of the rides they've built. Yes, they're great rides, but the downtime on SteVe is likely a bit much, along with issues with things such as overshooting the brakerun.
2. Parks aren't really going for height anymore. It's gotten far too expensive to break most records, so parks and manufacturers have started to move more over to unique models and cheaper models.
3. Even if parks *were* still going for the height record, a 500ft raptor would be really expensive, and just not something I'd expect CP to invest into after their 300 and 400 foot records had been broken incredibly quickly.
Great vid, though. I think most of the others would be good additions.
This video was mostly just speculation for whats could top it, not really what will end up actually happening I tried to keep intamin out bc I'm 100% sure they're done for but some of these other rides have a chance.
@A random on the internet while SteVe is good publicity, if i recall correctly it didnt actually affect the overall attendance to the park and on top of that it hasn't been the most reliable, past that other parks in the chain (primarily kings dominion) have had issues with their rmcs (granted, those issues have gotten less severe now).. i could see rmc getting dropped for similar reasons to why intamin did if that's kept up and i wouldn't necessarily expect a big prototype addition if they don't.. i wont back up my other statements unless you request me to so this doesnt end up being longer than it already is
@A random on the internet dragster was likely one of the reasons cp stopped working with intamin, it was overall a failure both because of the technical issues but also because of the immediate following of ka, i also suspect it's what caused cp to stop going for height records (outside of cost)..
Cooked
They could just imply the theme better and add a above ground tunnel.
Also if you do not know the theme look it up.I think its theme park media
But just add Orion level throwing to it.
Make the lift faster so the ride a little faster and you can make it a little quieter or louder
Which coaster?
Throw some $$ at Alan shilke & I'm sure he could come up w/ a successor to SV.I like the idea of a tall, steep turning ,twisting drop w/ tons of airtime .is it cost effective going forward though??
Also i think Ejenaika's price went up a few million for extra earthquake-proofing, like larger footers, more supports, larger supports etc
Just add some phantasialand theming and music and it's already way better
But not as loud as Phantasialand music. It's a great park, don't get me wrong but the music is just waayyy too loud. I was on the highway or Autobahn or whatever and thought that it was really quiet. I actually like Tripsdrill as much as Phantasialand because it's not that noisy
@@dorth09 I don't mind the music at all bc the soundtracks are alazing imo
@@j4rnusky Agree, it is amazing, but it's just way too loud. It is one of the world's best parks to visit every 2nd year or so, but honestly there are many other parks out there, which I would rather have as my Home Park
Other considerations:
A 400ft T-Rex would still break records and could still easily beat Steel Vengeance.
What about S&S or Chance building a hyper? S&S proved they could with Steel Curtain and Chance may be able to scale up the Hyper GTX enough to do so. I wouldn't count either out.
Imagine a full-sized S&S axis coaster with a long layout.
A flying coaster isn't very likely, but an absolutely massive 200 ft one with a long layout and strong intense elements could... maybe not truly top Steel Vengeance in terms of ride quality, but be more impressive than it and be strong competition. Or imagine a dueling flying coaster. There's some cool interaction between both sides you could do on such an attraction.
Mack extreme spinner, but intense, fast, and long. Possibly a hyper.
If you're doing 400 feet, it's not even the tallest coaster at the park
If you go 420+ to top Dragster, you're still trailing Kingda Ka
And once you've topped that, you're already so close to 500 you might as well just go for it anyways
@@Swordopolis it doesn't have to be, if you top 400 ft with a full rollercoaster as opposed to the single up and down loop Top Thrill model, it will be awesome.
400+ rmc t-rex is good, they could go 475 to beat Kingda ka, but they don't have to.
And, there's cost... they may just not wanna spend the huge price for a 500ft t-rex
At this point, the height race is almost unnecessary. Cost and human comfort will mitigate a huge coaster layout
Great video! I think we’ll probably be waiting a few years before we see this but maybe a crazy T-Rex could beat Steel Vengeance
Yeah it's definitely a long ways away but a T rex would be worth the wait
I agree with you for some of it but the T. rex would be a good fit at a different park . If it’s the same designer and just the only difference is height and the single rail it might make Steve redundant. The 4d coaster would be the coolest in my mind because it is different from Steve enough for Steve to still be unique. 4d coasters like X2 or Dinoconda are pretty rare so it’ll be a great fit. If s&s got the shaky rotations smoothed that would be really cool. Cedar point doesn’t really need a smaller new gen vekoma because of maverick.
Loved the vid tho, those are just my opinions. Thanks for producing the awesome content
Yeah the 4D is the most unique and would be the best fit at the park
Got this video recommended to me, and wow. You have earned my subscription for sure
I agree with you, a T-Rex has to be it.But it needs the lenght, a big part of what makes steve so good is that it feels endless, there are long coasters that seem mild, like steel dragon 2k and short coasters that are insane like lightning run but when you combine both, you get steel vengeance
OMG your channel is growing fast now. YES I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU
SteVe: 😂 that is awesome. I’m stealing it. IMHO, SteVe is the closest thing to perfection. Maverick runs a close second. Maybe tied with LR. F325 is in the conversation. And how about Velociraptor??? We are truly blessed as coaster enthusiasts. Great video ✌️
Why has my pic disappeared?
My pic still missing?
Maverick is good, but not better than LR, not even close
Most beloved coaster ever? Dude, Millennium Force was literally everybody's favorite roller coaster in the world for like 20 years :)
Yea, and still, there’s people cheering and yelling millenium force in the station.
Imagine a 4d coaster, but the seats don’t rotate and the seats still face backwards while lying down. I think the opportunities for intense elements would be endless with your body in a fixed position. The train could flip upside down so you’re in a flying position and back again, and the drops on x2 and Eejanaika would be incredible, because you’d be falling upside down.
wouldn't that just be a flying coaster?
Imagine a vekoma model with some phantasialand theming
I think any Vekoma hyper could top Steve but adding phantasialand theming would give me a heart attack
You dont have to imagine that: fly exists
@@trollekont1710 it does but its not like a blitz model or something with the theming would be sick
Plopsa: Hold my ride to happiness
Velocicoaster, Period with a capital P.
Wow, congrats on 100 subs you got there mad quick.
It was a crazy night
It would be nice to see a 4D coaster built like arrow dynamic never went bankrupt.
I cant imagine the pricetag with steel. Im sure s n s would do another if the price is right
Bring on an S&S 4th Dimension coaster, not the free spin, but the actual good versions. Eejanaika is sooooooooo much better than Steel Vengeance
I'm actually surprised. I though the 4D coaster was the weakest option out of all of these but it seems most people would disagree.
Weird, I rode steel vengeance and wasn’t really blown away? Maybe I wasn’t appreciating it for what it is? Idk
iron gwazi: im about to wreck this whole mans carrer
So hyped for Iron Gwazi. Steve packs more small elements but if you like super punchy, powerful big elements (like most enthusiasts do) then iron gwazi is the way to go
Gwazi is great but it’s too short. Steve is better
I love Steel Vengeance, but coasters like X2 (and the S&S versions in Asia from what I hear) and Time Traveler are just better. You never know what's going to happen so the airtime is just that much better along with being incredibly unique. SV is a solid top 5 but I don't think it's that hard to top as long as you get something unique that isn't in every top park in the world now.
I’m so glad this video blew up. This is one of my favorite channels and I’m so glad I found it. You deserve every single view and sub u get and more.
I hope to see a T-Rex in my lifetime!! Please!! 🤣
Imagine if u were to old to ride it by the time it came out lol
In June 2019 i travelled to Cedar point for my first ever visit to the states. Im from the Netherlands, I enjoyed 5 days in CP!
They need a T-Rex for sure. That’s the only way they will top Steve in my eyes
Fight fire with fire (RMC with RMC)
I hhink the new generation intamins are going to give rmc a run for their money
Nice video. I'm hoping with all my heart and soul that CP will build a 500ft T-Rex!! I'm 44 years old and I believe it would officially restart the coaster wars and end the coaster wars at the same time!! C'mon CP! Get it done!!
Having ridden Lightning Rod but not Steel Vengeance... I don't think it's reasonable to put Steel Vengeance second best in the world to Lightning Rod, at least when I rode it (2019). I'll give El Toro and EGF a chance still, and maybe Fury (the latter of which I have ridden).
I didn't mean that Steve was less than LRod I just know some people prefer LRod over Steve.
Sorry for the mix up
@@Coastoons Yeah. I don't get said people, unless they're using LR from 2016 as a baseline which is not when I rode it. 2019 LR is just... a bit weaker than expected? I mean, I didn't think it had ejector in the back row until after the quad-down.
Ok hear me out… a Mack extreme spinner. There’s nothing like it in CP and the 2 in the world (Time traveller and Ride to Happiness) are really well rated.
I just want a wood coaster. CP has so many great steel coasters, one with a different feel is all I ask. A nice, big, long GCI would be amazing. Or some other wood coaster, idk what other companies make them other than GCI these days.
CP really does have a wood coaster drought. Honestly I just want a regular GCI. I think an inverting GCI would get overshadowed by Steve
I think only an Axis could maybe beat SV. I don’t think S&S will build a old style 4D coaster ever again. They’ve moved on. Which is unfortunate because I love X and would have loved to see more elaborate layouts with it and smoother ride experience. But don’t see it happening. A 500 foot single rail would be interesting but I wonder about maintenance cost..specifically the wheels.
the problem about what u named is space, even with the removal of something like gemini, there still wouldnt be enough space
They would figure it out, think about the west coast racers footers and supports, those things got really wonky. I think they could do it, it would just be difficult.
I realized after the fact that most of these would be improbably due to space...
@@Coastoons Actually, there is a ton of space when you remove Gemini. It is possible that the lift hill would go north and the drop would send the new coaster into the empty land where Sandcastle Suites used to be. An RMC T-Rex with a drop to the north would be like the Magnum of our day, except a lot taller.
tRex could, but probably won't happen. They don't really have enough room for one unless they got rid of a couple of major coasters. And definitely not after Covid.
Next, they will probably get a wooden coaster of some sort. Problem a mid sized GCI. Cedar Fair after the losses they took this year is probably going to go for smaller, less expensive coasters like GCI's and Raptors, and not giant 30 million dollar coasters.
Chance rides giga coaster with a layout like Viper from Magic Mountain 🌚🌚🌚
Iron Gwazi is better. I know CP loyalists cannot fathom that any coster at any other park could possibly be better than anything at CP (ie no way Kingda Ka is better than Top Thrill even though it’s faster and taller and still open 😂), but yes, IG is much better.
First of all, in terms of ride experience, cohesiveness, and Imagineering, fury 325 is the number one coaster. Beating steel vengeance, will be very very difficult, but fandom aside, it’s entirely beatable
What if a ride was tons of beyond vertical first drops but all of them would be different
They would all be the same height however, it would have a small lift at the top
An idea that could stop steel vengeance is maybe an S&S launch that launches to like almost 100 mph and have a long ride duration like 1 minute and 30 seconds and have a wack layout like a flying snake dive, a dog tongue, a cobra roll, a tall outerbank, and some ejector hills. That has potential to top steel vengeance. It could be a non traditional hyper or giga. That would get enthusiasts pissing their pants.
SV is element after element after element.. do to top it needs to be bam bam bam bam bam bam bam.. No time to think what's did just happened! At least to me.. the only one it's able to compete with SV is the new vekoma kind and new intamin type.. other than another rmc..
And you're right when you said it's the layout the most underrated "element " in coasters.. layout it's almost the 80% of a ride that have success or not
Hear me out, what about a gerstlauer infinity coaster with 20 inversions and a 250 foot beyond vertical drop
Your 61st subscriber here; I'm pleasantly surprised with the video quality from a channel with so few subs. I hope your channel continues to grow and grow. Keep up the good work!
Son of vengance magnum bat man oscars wacky taxi mean streak goliath super man escape from crypton the ride.
I got a couple rides on Steve recently. I still think maverick is better, but Steve is right after maverick in my list for best coaster at cedar point
Whenever CP finally decides to retire Gemini, they'll replace it with a dueling hyper for continuity and nostalgia.....they'd almost surely need to remove the Cedar Creek Mine Ride also to have enough room though for it though, the only other real option to pair with Gemini's plot would be to venture WAY outside the footprint like Magnum does
Or maybe put the dual hyper in place of Mine Ride and Snake River Falls, and something else in Gemini's spot?
I've been hearing about this supposed T-Rex coaster which in typical Cedar Point fashion is probably going to be the tallest, fastest and longest of its kind assuming that *IS* still in the works.
I think it the case of the T rex the stats will actually meam something just because it could be 500 feet
Agree, I think T-Rex is the only one with a real shot to be (universally) considered better than Steel Vengeance
X2 > El Toro > Steel Vengeance
Yes, I’ve been on all 3. I said what I said
Can't say I agree. BUT...
Eejanaika>El Toro> Steel Vengeance
Haven't been on Eeja or SteVe but from what I have experienced I'm nearly certain this is how I would rank them.
The Ride to Happiness is build and has overtaken the Steve :^)
Steel vengeance but bigger lol
Don't stress too much, Steel Vengeance is very overrated
so what IS the best coaster in the world? like, I'm genuinely wondering, because I've heard very mixed views on SteVe.
Imagine going to cedar point and saying “hey let’s go ride Steve”
Steel Vengeance is by far a kick ass coaster, but it's The Point, what else would you expect. I need to get back and ride it again. Been a couple of years now.
I need to ride it just in general. Cedar Point definitely delivered on this one
Un-asked for hot take time: a better coaster than SteVe already exists. It's called Hakugei.
I burned my hand on that hot take. Ouch
i have an idea, iron gwazi
I’ve been on DC rivals and it by far has the best airtime in the world
DC rivals looks like an out of body experience. If more people got to ride it I'm sure it would be in the debate for best in the world even more so than it already is
@@Coastoons I'm from Australia and never ridden a coaster outside of here, but I genuinely think DC Rivals backwards seats probably gives the best roller coaster experience in the world. Forwards the ride is already world class, but those backwards seats give a completely different, insane ride. I hope North America and Europe start doing the same with their coasters. The coaster community would go nuts over it.
Yes! Cedar Point NEEDS a 500foot T-rex with Lap Bars!
Then Great Adventure needs to get one a year later that's 540 feet.
Listen dude....You will kill people trying to top Steel Vengeance. Lol.
When you ride it I'm telling you...it is going to push you.
I think that's what people love about it.
It's one coaster that is an unbelievably smooth & comfortable but it doesn't baby you AT ALL.
This is not like riding a B&M where you are sort of lulled through the layout.
That shit will drag you by the ankles (literally) with a vengeance.
No Steel Coaster will top Steel Vengeance while trying to out do its design language. They are too heavy and can't articulate as many phrases as RMC can.
The only coaster that is going to Top Steel Vengeance is going to be another Hybrid or a Raptor or Trex.
I mean whatever it is...The layout has to be flawless. That's the thing.
Iron Gwazi is not going to be that coaster. They layout loses focus about 3/4 in.
And that second half of Steel Vengeance running through the structure is like...ugh...it just encapsulates everything that a woody should be. And there is no slow down on the break run! That alone eliminates every B&M, all Vekomas, etc.
The T rex feels like the only likely option. Fight RMC with RMC
when ever he says cp my mind goes in to dark places
I think the new generation Intamins are going to give RMC a run for their money
Yep. Its just a shame we won't be seeing a lot of them in North America
@@Coastoons Velocicoaster looks like it will be one of the best coasters in the country. And Pantheon hasn't opened yet. I think we may see intamin come back
I've heard more than one time that Cedar Fair said they would never work with RMC again. IDK if it's true. 🤷♂️
Why? They were pretty hesitant to work with RMC until recently, but look how great Steel Vengance has worked out for them. RMC is a top tier coaster manufacturer.
@@JCBro-yg8vd Supposedly because they had major issues with RMC providing support, or parts for a coaster they already have. IDK which one, and don't really care. I've heard that more than once. Is it true? Who knows...
@@dextermorgan1 Well, RMC is kind of in a bad place right now because they've agreed to redo Lightning Rod at Dollywood free of charge, likely because they don't wanna risk getting sued for LR's reliability issues. That and the Cvoid pandemic are probably putting them in a bit of a bind.
This video was made on something that was said before there was a pandemic that looks like it will permanently damage the amusement park industry. At least...damaged for the first half of this decade.
That being said out if everything in your list a 4-D coaster makes sense, though I would add that an infinity that could break Smiler's record is just as viable. Or just a big flying coaster. Topping steel Vengeance is easier in a GP's eyes than enthusiast.
Stupid pandemic
ruining everything...

If anything could top Steve, Cedar Point will build it. They’re getting rid of Dragster, after that woman got yeeted by a safety clamp. Let’s see what they do.
There not gonna remove it.
Unless they’re gonna make a Strata Coaster
Cool watching this after they built an rmc T. rex
are we not gonna talk about how good the mack layout was???
I did my best although I dont know if its enough to top steve
Coastoons when you think about it what can really top steve. i mean look at zadra and gwazi
@@camaronomarion1463 I dont think we'll ever see another RMC hybrid top Steve. In fact, RMC may have peaked with Steve. The only way I could see them topping it is with a 500 foot t rex
honestly i like el toro way more than steel vengeance
2:35 Ahhhh it makes me happy when I see an Aussie coaster in a yet video
Steel vengeance is absolutely insane. The airtime was so intense it hurt in some spots
The only three companies I can see giving CP a better ride than SteVe are Intamin, S&S or RMC. All 3 are very good at keeping rides compact and giving an intense or interesting ride experience.
I can’t, however figure out what model, besides a T-Rex, could guarantee a better experience than SteVe. As much as I’d love to see the axis model or an air launch coaster, I do not believe these would give a better experience than SteVe.
You make great content, can't wait to see what you've achieved by next year
They're going to build fury 335.
Omg yes a vekoma Hyper!!!
The 500 foot T-Rex absolutely could top Steel Vengeance BUT a slow 500 foot chain lift is going to scare a lot of the GP so you gotta ask if the risk is worth it. Because if a lot of GP is too scared to ride it’s not a good return on investment especially with only lap bars to make them not feel as secure
I would love a T- Rex or an axis coaster, but no matter what Cedar point does, it almost Has to be a custom layout because of their limited space. And yes I definitely think they can top steel vengeance, it’s Cedar point!!
I got a chance to ride eejanaika. I haven’t ridden SteVe or Lightning rod but I liked eejanaika more than el toro. I’ve also ridden X2 which isn’t anywhere close to as good as eejanaika. When S&S works out the layout of 4D coasters and can put more interesting elements on them than just immelmans and dive loops, I feel confident that it could top SteVe.
I think Eejanaika caters to a certain type of enthusiast. If you're all about airtime which I thought most enthusiasts were, then Steve, Toro and the picks on my video would be your thing. But if you just want an insane out of body experience then eejenaika would definitely be your thing
@@Coastoons I agree. It’s funny cause on every other coaster I only care for airtime. Flipping through that zero g roll with solid floater is just so nice tho.
I don’t know why some small channel got recommend to me, but I have to say, Great Content!
Thank you thank you
Same thing happened to me! I watched this video when it had 61 subscribers, now it seems you’ve gained over 140 more! Congrats.
ええじゃないか!
I’ll preface my comment by saying that I personally haven’t ridden SteVe yet, but that I have ridden two RMCs hybrids (Twisted Colossus and Goliath) and a few of the other coasters you’ve mentioned here (Helix, the first three Intamin prefab woodies, X2, Eejanaika). I have yet to try any of the new RMC single rail coasters, so I can’t really compare that from personal experience (though I have heard about all the positive reviews). I could also benefit from experience with the other ride types you suggested as possible crown-stealers from SteVe.
With that being said, I actually disagree with your assessment of the S&S 4D. Based on my experiences on the two S&S 4Ds, I suspect it’s the opposite of what you said: least likely to happen anytime soon but possibly the best candidate to take the spot. My most recent rides on X2 and Eejanaika really place them on two different levels. X2 felt weak in comparison to Ej; Ej is seriously insane, and I feel that even a marginally better layout than that could easily put one of these things into the running for world’s best coaster.
But the construction cost is the kicker. We all know that very few parks have the capital capacity to handle these sorts of high-cost, meh(ish) capacity megacoasters. Cedar Point IS one of them, and it could make sense in some ways for one of their next star attractions to be an S&S 4D given just how different this model is from Gate Keeper. But I also think that the amusement industry as a whole is ever so steadily going towards smaller rides that deliver the thrills without the costs. I don’t think Cedar Point is an exception to this in the long run.
These S&S 4Ds were a kinda awkward product of the coaster wars era, trying to be something big and different in a time when breaking records was cooler than creating good rides on a budget. I think they made sense when the ‘coaster centers’ were looking to differentiate themselves and were willing and able to dump the money into doing so with something at the price point S&S 4Ds occupy. Now, though, I think it’s generally the smarter financial move for most parks to either keep leveraging their existing large/star attractions, or to ‘break out’ with something a lot smaller. While these things never churned out quickly to begin with, it’s getting longer and longer since Dinoconda has opened and we’ve yet to see the next one. Same sad potential fate as the Intamin prefab.
While I don’t think we’re gonna see the end of big rides, I’m also not too confident in the industry’s ability to continue supporting ones that are as expensive as the S&S 4D, particularly at the scale needed to build a better layout than the ones that have already been built. I sure hope I’m wrong, though! Perhaps some other park will pull it off. I’m just not sure if it’ll be Cedar Point.
Wow great comment! I think its sad to see the decline of these huge rides at the same time it gives manufacturers like Mack and Gerstlaurer time to shine. The prefab and the 4D coaster were a product of a largely abandoned time period where bigger seemingly meant better but there's no denying that these are great models
in summer of 2019, i went to cedar point for the first time. i loved steel vengeance and it is my current favorite rollercoaster. now, my local theme park (busch gardens tampa bay) is getting a new coaster called iron gwazi. apparently its supposed to be better. i HIGHLY doubt that but maybe, just maybe...
Its certainly possible but it depends on what you like. If you like being ambushed from the front back above and behind by small elements, Steve if your thing. But if you prefer the first half of Steve with strong long drawn out elements then iron gwazi just might be better...
or he (tony clark) could've faked it just for people to get their hopes high up
We can always dream though...
0:36 when you say if anything could top ride, but X2 already does (you just can’t beat that soundtrack), even the outline in the thumbnail looks all too similar ;p
4:35 that ride feels like it hardly even comes close to Steve...
5:19 The jokes on you because it already is, it starts out with an edge as it’s more unique than anything else, and it has two rides in one, conceptually and ride wise it just can’t be topped; sounds like someone hasn’t been on one before
6:24 there’s only three things in the world like it; those free spins are bull crap (though they are the best iteration of a free spinning version), so again, instant edge right there
6:47 that’s hardly the case (unfortunately), but having experimented reasonably extensively with different 4D design concepts, I know that there’s a lot of things you can do with it, you just have to learn to think differently about how you design the ride (and it’s not easy..)
8:33 that wasn’t Immelmann...I agree about new gen VEEkoma begoing out though, they throw a bunch of crazy crap in to a ride and somehow it works and flows really well; even better it doesn’t come off like they’re just trying to jack the style of another company we all know well (yet you seem to realize/admit..). Definitely wouldn’t mind seeing several of them come around, and I feel like they have good potential of beating Steve (I still want a GCI at CP though..)
And honestly, I don’t really want to see a 500 foot coaster, by anyone really; the taller the ride, the more drawn out in the elements have to be to keep the forces stay safe, and if MilF is any example, that doesn’t go well..(the stupid long trains don’t help either) I would love to see a tea Rex, just not one where you have to spend the majority of the ride killing momentum..for no reason..VEEkoma, True 4D, mack, even TRex (which I’ve honestly really never minded), all have a good chance at topping steve, if they forget about records and actually try to have fun with the ride (like steve does, somehow I doubt they’ll do that though...)
The Mack Hyper Coaster you are describing is basically Hyperia
@handmade64tf u on abt?
What could top steel vengeance
Velocicoaster: Allow me to introduce myself
Only thing that will ever top Steel Vengeance is an RMC Son of Beast, or even RMC Beast, but until other companies go crazy on their models I feel like the only thing to beat an RMC will unfortunately be an RMC 🤷♂️
Regarding a 4D coaster with a unique layout, how about giving it a lie-to-fly cobra roll? Basically, a cobra roll, but instead of twisting entirely out of the first inversion and then back into the second, it only flips 180 degrees as the seats rotate to a flying position while turning out of the first half-loop and towards the second. I've built this in Planet Coaster before and holy shit does it give an interesting experience. I can only imagine it would feel like you're just tumbling uncontrollably in mid air.
Vekoma's layout was better than the intamin layout in Energylandia
I agree but intamin has a much better reputation for hyper coasters
How about a launch, immelmen, dive loop, ejector hill, some cool visuals, 2nd launch, Tophat, stall, wave turn, Outerbank, overbank, speed hill, a specific roll named after a specific animal?
Iron Gwazi.
i don´t think cedar point having 5 intamins is valid point, they also have a lot of B&M´s, I think a new gen intamin mega could be the worlds best.
Theres also the fact that cedar fair doesn't work with intamin anymore but yeah CP doesn't really care about being repetitive
not enough TITLES in this video. don't you think about no-english spoken people ?
just write the name of the rides, and of the park, is that to much to ask ?
My bad I'll try and do that next time. I'm still pretty new to the youtube things so thanks for the feedback
I thought the title was perfectly fine lol
@@mr.rollercoasters com’on stop play the dumb ! I am not talking about the tittle : name of the video
I am talking about naming the parks, or naming the rides on LETTERS when it appears at the screen. Kiss from 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
@@Coastoons Thank you very much. You have to know, us, European people are very fascinated by your US rides and we watch your videos but understanding your spoken fast langage is sometimes too hard. Kiss from 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
I might get to ride steel vengeance for the first time soon!
Same
You were more accurate in your audible price of DC Rivals. About $24m-$25m USD
Ok ok. I just went back and looked up the conversion and it said it differently although it could have changed due to the Australian dollars losing or gaining value
@@Coastoons This year has caused the dollar of both Aus and USA to swing so rapidly but the AUD was really low when the ride was purchased in 2016
